Question Why can't I record 4k 60fps from the main app? - Sony Xperia 1 III

It's a bit weird that the Xperia 1 III supports 4k 120fps through Cinema Pro but only 4k 24fps in the camera app.
Sometimes, I don't have the time to setup Cinema Pro and just want to quickly record something, is there a way to enable 4k 60fps in the main app? I have a rooted device if one solution requires it.
I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and there was an app called Camera Mod that allowed to tweak some settings of the stock camera app. Can something similar be developed for the Xperia 1 III?
Also, and that's a lot less important, it possible to record native 120fps files (either 4k or 1080p). By that I mean a video file with a frame rate of 120fps (not slowed down to 60 or 30fps). This phone have a 120Hz display so I would like to record and playback at that refresh rate if possible, without any slowmo, just 120fps recording and play back.
Thank you very much.

Slow Motion video as part of Regular Video

Is there a way to take a regular 1080p video and add slow motion to a part (similar to iPhone 5S) on the Galaxy S4 or for that matter on the Galaxy S5? For practical purposes, I find it it way more useful if I can record a regular video at 120fps and be able to choose a time frame within the video that i want to render in slow motion.
If the phones, native camera app cant do it, does anyone know of any 3rd party apps that can?

Better camera recording (HD 60FPS)

Ok guys, so this phone can now record HD 60FPS at 30 Mbps, and FHD 43FPS at 22-24Mbps and 480p at 120FPS (this is "720p" slowmo). It can be even better, but .. Camera is recording with H.264 codec level 4.1 and these are max settings for it.
My question. There is a way, to enable Level=4.2? With it we can go FHD 60FPS easily. How to install it? Helio X10 can operate with H.265 codec.
There are lines for HEVC codec in file media_codecs.xml so it can be possible.
Cheers!
xiaomi locked this features of camera (4k rec or 480fps sslow motion) and soc in the kernel, so, without source code we can do nothing bro
Sad news i can say .. Okay .. But at least, can we have better light recording? I mean, this phone has problems with light at videos. Dont know if sensor problems or soft.
how can i use this feature in redmi 2 please help.

Video record problem after install Video 4K

I am using official 6.0.1 Stock Android (32.2.A.0.305) on my E5823.
After some days of use I installed Video 4K from menu that appears during usage of Camera. Now I have a mode called Video 4K available from Camera app , but it isn't listed on installed apps.
The fact is that now I can use video recording only in low resolutions (VGA and MMS) because if I use a resolution higher than VGA , video recording became slow and it seems that images are taken with a shot every 1 second or more ! What happened ? I am using wrong settings, for example bad setup of HDR, focus or similars? How can I uninstall Video 4K or restore original settings of my video camera to make it working again ?

Galaxy A5 2017 4k recording with opencamera vs stock video camera

I read somewhere here that you can record 4k with open camera the resolution of the video is 3264 x 1836 which is 4k but youtube does not show 4k option.
The video recorded with opencamera looks way better than the stock Samsung video recording .So is smasung playing tricks with us?
New video this time 100mbs bitrate
How did you do it? I don't know how I have to configure the Opencamera's app to record in 4K.
Thank you very much!

You enable camera2 API and you change the resolution to highest and you can also change the video/audio bitrate you can experiment yourself .But Don't know if there is a difference between 1080p high bitrate vs 4k high bitrate to be honest haven't test it
wtf 4k video?
is 120 fps 1080p or 60 fps 1080p possible? btw I'm on a7 2017 but that shouldn't make much of a difference

Had a question regarding 4K resolution on streaming/video apps

I have just recently migrated from iOS (iPhone 11 Pro) to Android 10 (Sony Xperia 5 II). I think Android is a much better choice for me as I feel I have more control.
Despite this I am having a minor issue which I need help with. On my iPhone 11 Pro, I was able to watch 4K videos, even with HDR turned on through the Youtube app. The resolution of the iPhone 11 Pro is closer to 1080p than anything else so I understand 4K is downscaled to the resolution of the phone. The problem I have is that with my new Sony Xperia 5 II I cannot seem to be able to enable 3840x2160/4K on any video on Youtube. I have tried watching a 4K video with HDR and without HDR but still suffer the same problem. I am new to android so I don't really know if this is common or its just my phone. The resolution of the Sony phone is also 1080p but I find it quite surprising it won't let me watch videos at 4K considering the iPhone 11 could.
I have tried updating the Youtube app and the firmware of the phone but nothing seems to change. I cannot uninstall Youtube from the phone either.
Is there any way this can be fixed?
The 4K video playback on YouTube is supported on those Android devices only that have a 4K display screen. Your Sony Xperia 5 II doesn't have such one.
But there is a simple workaround you can use to enable 4K video quality option on YouTube , if your phone's Android is rooted: change the resolution of the display to enable 4K video support - you do this by modifying the build.prop[/] file in the /system root directory.
