I've got my mams old tablet that she uses for her banking app as the app has stopped working now as it doesn't support the android 5.1.
can i update the firmware with something that will change it to a more recent android release?

Updating ( means: patching existing Android OS ) doesn't help, but upgrading to an Android OS version what's required by the banking app at minimum.
Upgrading the tablet's Android OS requires
1. tablet's bootloader is unlockable
2. a Custom Recovery suitable to this tablet exists
3. a Custom ROM based on desired Android OS version suitable to the tablet exists

I own this tablet and it works quite good for me. But lately it tells me more and more while updating my apps that they won´t support Android 6 anymore. Is there someone out there having a Android 10/11 custom rom for this tablet?

I have a Uniwa A19S phone (mt6737T, kernel 3.18.19+, Android 6). Since it came from the manufacturer (believe it or not) with the system partition infested with trojans injected into vital files and there will be no firmware updates, I would like to port it to the Unihertz Jelly Pro 8.1 (same chipset, same kernel but Android 8.1). On the Internet there are way too many tutorials very different from each other and I'm very confused. Can someone please help me figure out what files I should move around? Maybe give a hand?

Hi guys where can I find a "step by step" guide for the update of my Asus MemoPad FHD 10 LTE (ME302KL - mod. K005).
Is it possible?
My Tablet has Android 4.2.2, Root permissions and TWRP installed. When I start TWRP, he asks me to choose the device from a list but unfortunately my device is not listed. How can I do?
Is it possible that the new operating system cannot be installed directly from the SD card?

after it somehow got derooted ( it still is using android 2.3.7 ) it wont open any apps that use root and any apps that need root, it also wont open supersu orsome system apps, i DID factory reset
btw supersu is a system app
