[Q] Optimus T: remove LG boot animation?

I've got my Optimus T flashed with the void ROM now and I'm loving it. I've been playing around now with the boot animation and I notice that now there is an animated version of the LG logo that comes after the static logo and before the bootanimation.zip. I've got the bootanimation.zip figured out, but I'd prefer to go straight from the static LG logo to the beautifully simple "void."
Does anyone know where this animated logo is located and how it can be changed or removed? Thanks in advance.
Answering my own question.
The images are in /bootimages named opening_0[1-8].rle. These are rle encoded raw RGB files. See to565.c in the android git tree for some details on that RLE format.
Trying now to see if getting rid of those files gets rid of the boot animation...
Looks like these files are written anew every time from the boot.img. I have found how to unpack the boot image from /dev/mtd/mtd0, but I'm working right now on how to make a new one...
the boot images are in ramdisk you need to unpack boot.img modify ramdisk and repack boot.img
the command to unpack on linux is "./unpack-bootimg.pl boot.img" you need perl libraries installed
Yep, I can unpack the boot image and change the images but once I repack it, how can I flash it to the appropriate place?
take commands what you need from an update-script of a custom rom and flash it trough recovery
Any updates on this? I would also like to know an easy way to remove this animation.

This sounds like the easy answer. Anyone with more knowledge willing to do this for me? I guess we're just talking about a zip to flash to remove boot/shutdown animations and nothing else.

[Q] Latest OTA

So I have an unlocked prime with the latest cwm recovery installed and got the latest ota from my aunt's prime but i cannot install it, I added .zip at the end of the file and it gets and error when trying to install it in recovery the original file's name is (dlpkgfile) with no (.)anything, I don't know if it's a blob file or what but when try to extract it with winrar I only get META-INF folder does anyone know what or how to extact this file????
i think there is a good many people who may be in this boat, we need to look into it! i just did something similar with 4.0.4 on my nexus, maybe if you return the phone to stock, but no, because the image we have to work with is an insecure image, we need a truly stock zip to flash, then we can try to do an update, anybody have one?? i dont know how to do all that logcat->zip stuff

If you've used the official unlock tool it's not possible to flash stock ota's.
Thanks
@prettyboy85712 thanks for the info guess i'll just have to wait for the update from ASUS website directly which will be in the next couple of days
You will brick your prime if you unlocked the bootloader and attempt to flash a stock ROM from Asus.

The steps as below.
1. Download the boot animation for MIUI website (search from Google is much more faster) and download the bootanimation.zip file.
2. Open Root Browser (or your file manager) app and once inside, locate your original boot animation file (bootanimation.zip) in /system/media.
3. Long-press the file, choose Rename and name it to bootanimation.zip1.
4. Next, browse to the custom boot animation that you want to switch to, copy the zip file to /system/media. Long-press, choose Permission.
5. Tick the boxes as shown in the screenshot below, and press OK. After that, rename the file to bootanimation.zip, if the zip file name is different.
Note: You have to make sure that the file name is correct (bootanimation.zip) for the system to recognize your boot animation, and boot properly.
6. Now you should be able to see two zip files, one, bootanimation.zip (new file) and the other is bootanimation.zip1 (original).
Note: If you ever want to switch back to your original boot animation, delete the current bootanimation.zip and rename the original file back to bootanimation.zip (from bootanimation.zip1).
7. Reboot the device and you will be able to see your new custom boot animation!

How to root/alternate for twrp? BLU G90 PRO

I have spent 2 days trying to figure out how to root my g90 pro. I can't find twerp for it and every possible guide I find destroys my sanity when I find out it won't work. I have magisk as a zip file on my phone right now, is there an alternate apk I could use to finish this?
I am bootloaded and it is android 10.
Have you tried using the magisk manager app and pull the stock boot from your rom. Go into magisk manager app and select install then select patch boot image. Let it do it thing. After it's done there will be a patched boot image in your download folder. Copy that img to your fastboot tools directory on your computer. Boot your phone to fastboot and connect to your computer. In adb tools cmd promt type "fastboot flash boot (name of patched boot image).img"
Reboot phone..
Success
Link to magisk manager app https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases
If you don't have your stock boot img you will need to download your current firmware and use payload dumper to extract the boot image. Just open the firmware in 7zip or eat and extract payload.bin the place that file in the input in the payload dumper then click on the exe. Will take a min and all you system partions will be extracted in the output folder. Grab your stock boot.img from there.
Link to payload dumper https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=818070582850510260
Will try in the morning, expect update.
I have no Idea how to download directly from my firmware. I don't know if I'm misunderstanding, but I tried googling it and still am stumped. I can't find the folder or whatever, I have read so many tutorials I'm mixing everything up.
I installed two wrong boot imgs, if anyones reading this thread https://www.mediafire.com/file/7502...WW_V10.0.03.03_GENERIC_20200710_1437.zip/file
this is current firmware for g90 pro, found by using info app, and ctrl-f on this page https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/blu-stock-firmware-repository-mediafire.3853065/
