Question D2101 vs D2103 - OnePlus Nord 2 5G

I'm looking at getting the Nord 2, but I have two prices after shipping. The DN2101 is coming out $30 cheaper than the DN2103 so I"m wondering what the difference is.

DN2101 has 8/128 of Ram/Storage and DN2103 has 12/256

Well I kept looking after posting and I found this:
OnePlus Nord 2 5G Top Edition Dual SIM TD-LTE IN 256GB DN2101 (BBK Denniz) | Device Specs | PhoneDB

From what I can tell the DN2101 and 2103 support different bands, though none of the ones that matter to me. I went for the DN2101 from here:

Redmi Note 4 and 4X difference?

What is the difference between Xiaomi Note 4 and 4X as they both have the same specs and Snapdragon 625 chip?
Also, is the 4X LTE compatible in the United States, specifically MetroPCS? BG.com's specs say no, GSM Arena's say yes (2100).
To sum up, Note 4's processor is faster. 4x's camera is better and battery is much better optimized, meaning that it'll last a few hours longer.
To me, it just looks like the LTE bands..

Isn't the Note 4 in 2 variants one with MTK Cpu and One SD 625 Cpu ( Many Ram and Memory variants )and from my understanding the Note 4X is only with SD 625 , 32gb 3gb ?
Personally I got the 4X because of the SD 625 + All Black Color Option
rn4x has bluetooth 4.2 while sd ver has 4.1
4x supports more baseband
After a lot of research I found these are the 10 differences between Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Note 4X:
1. Note 4 (MediaTek) has MediaTek Helio X20 (MT6797) CPU with Arm Mali-T880 780MHz GPU - Note 4X has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 with Qualcomm Adreno 506 GPU
2. Note 4 offers 4 colors: Gold, Gray, Silver, Black - Note 4X offers 5 colors Black, Gold, Pink, Silver, Turquoise
3. Note 4 has all metal body - Note 4X has mix between metal and plastic (plastic are downside where micro USB is and upperside where 3.5mm connector and IR port are; i.e above and bellow antenna lines)
4. Note 4 has dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac conectivity - Note 4X does NOT have dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac conectivity
5. Note 4 has weight of 175 g - Note 4X has weight 165 g
6. Note 4 has screws on micro usb side and can easily be opened - Note 4X has no screws on micro USB side and I didn't find anywhere how to open it.

7. Note 4 has IR port in the middle of upper side - Note 4X has IR port on side of the upper side (this means Note 4 cover will not match with Note 4X)
8. Note 4 has compass - Note 4X has NO compass
9. Note 4 has Samsung S5K3L8 camera sensor - Note 4X has Sony IMX258 camera sensor
10. Note 4 does NOT support fast charging - Note 4X does support fast charging

Note 4X has compass
(Sources: gsmarena and xiaomidevice)
There is a compass application preinstalled in my Note 4X and it works fine

Note 4 supports fast charging. It's called PumpExpress+. 4100mAh battery charges from 0 to 100% in approx. 70 minutes.
Really? Did not find this info anywhere. Do I need special charger or one that comes with it supports this?
p.s. I don't use original charger since it is US plug and I don't have EU adapter

Thanks for the comparison but point 8, 9 and 10 are not correct.
8. Both phones have a compass.
9. The camera sensor does not depend on the type of handset, in fact the 4X can have both sensors by coincidence.
10. 4X also does not support fast charging!
11. Note 4 has Bluetooth 4.1 and Note 4X Bluetooth 4.2.
it looks highly the same...
So which one is better in daily usage, note 4 SD version or 4x? I want to buy one. Thanks in advance.
Apart from what nuraH6 and jaager explained, the main differe ces between Note 4 (Snapdragon variant) and Note 4X is band support.
This is the list of band that is supported by Note 4 (Snapdragon variant)
4G FDD-LTE B3 / B5
4G TDD-LTE B40
3G WCDM 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz

Depends on what network you are using. Note 4X supports CDMA.

What are the Model #'s for Snapdragon 625 [Note 4] & [Note 4x]?

Good day, everyone
TL;DR - WTK Model Numbers for Snapdragon 625 [Note 4] & [Note 4x]
So far;
2016100 = Redmi Note 4 4Gb/64G (credit: @sachin n)
2016101 = Redmi Note 4X 3Gb/32G (credit: @Delkapone)
2016102 =Redmi Note 4 3GB/32GB (credit: @krasCGQ)
I am about to finalise the purchase of a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 OR 4X.
I am trying to find ONLY the MODEL NUMBERS for;
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 - 4gb RAM, 64gb storage (Snapdragon 625 Variant; might be 2016100 or 2016102, need confirmed)
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X - 4gb RAM, 64gb storage (Snapdragon 625 Variant)
Some threads have said the SD 625's of both the 4 and 4x and identical, yet others go on to state physical differences in feature/hardware placements.
I just want to ensure that I get the Snapdragon 625 version, I do not want to end up wit a device that has the Mediatek CPU.
P.S.
Please don't turn the question into an argument for the Mediatek Variant and/or the 3GB models and your experience with them, I've already decided on the Snapdragon 624 4gb/64gb and I'm just trying to ensure I get the correct product.
I understand that the model numbers may vary slightly, possibly dependent on region and storage configuration.
I've looked for the questions/answers in the forum and others as well and can't seem to get a straight idea.
Thank you everyone, any relevant constructive help will be greatly appreciated.

BTW, thanks @krasCGQ bish ?
Double post, sorry :c
SD 625 is octa-core while Mediatak Helios X20 is deca-core. Some shop list it, I think it's a good indicator to buy the right version.
And I also read something about that the differnt SD 625 versions have difference only in supported network frequency.

Thank you for responding.
I do know the SD625 is an octa-core vs the deca-core of the Mediatek version.
I've already decided on the SD 625.
The problem I am having is that I was told in passing that the NOTE 4 SD625 (4GB/64GB) is identical to the NOTE 4X SD625 (4GB/64GB).
I am just trying to find a way or confirm if there are physical differences or not.
They are identical, the only difference is that the 4x doesn't have b20(800 MHz) band...But some shops
report It in the specification, I think it's an error...
I don't remember where i red this, but another difference is in the Quality of construction that in 4x is lower than 4 ( I don't know if it's true)
The Redmi Note4x is the global (or international) version. It has 4g lte radio bands that will work on either AT&T or T-Mobile in the U.S. The Redmi Note 4 will not work on any 4g lte band in the U.S. It will work on 3g band 1900 which is supported by AT&T and T-Moibile but you can forget about 4g lte in the U.S. with this version. The 4X was released about 10 months after the 4 version was and there are some hardware differences because of that (different brand sensors and camera's) but don't confuse the the different SOC options (MTK or Snap) with one version or the other. You can find both of those SOC options on either version. Even though there are some brand differences in the internal hardware the X of the 4X version is simply meant to signify that it is a global use phone with additional radio bands that the 4 version does not have. BTW, the IR blaster is not in the same position so if you are buying a case or other accessories, buy the case that is specifically for the 4 or the 4X version.
This comparison chart came directly from Xiaomi....
The Differences
Redmi Note 4
Bluetooth 4.1
Network Bands
4G FDD-LTE B3 / B5
4G TDD-LTE B40
3G WCDM 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz
Redmi Note 4x
Bluetooth 4.2
Network Bands
4G FDD-LTE B1 / B3 / B5 / B7
4G TDD-LTE B38 / B39 / B40 / B41 ( 2555-2655MHz)
TD-SCDMA B34 / B39
3G WCDMA B1 / B2 / B5 / B8 (850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz)
CDMA2000 / 1X BC0
2G GSM B2 / B3 / B5 / B8 (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz)
The Note 4 is made in India and the Note 4x is made in China. The differences in bands on the chart above reflects the needed bands to work in China. Since they posted this chart they have also added lte bands that work in the U.S. (band 4 and whatever AT&T uses) but did not update the chart to reflect that. All newer Note 4X's are global 4G capable though.

First off, do you know whether there's even a custom ROM build for vespa8(A1-850)? I don't see any after shallow Googling...
I have no clue tbh

I dont even know where to download the standard ROM.
Hi,
Have you had any luck TWRP?
TWRP isn't really necessary and root is really easy with magisk.
I rooted mine and it was great but then mistakes were made and feelings were hurt when I
flashed a very Russian Surprise ROM.
Feelings got *reeeeeally* banged up when I tried to flash my backup and it was unreadable.
There is a lot of info and tools for Blackview devices and Mediatek chips at Hovatek. Here's a semi-random link to getcha going:
Hovatek Forum - Android Firmware Archive
Archive of Android, iOS, Windows & Dual OS firmware / stock ROMs
forum.hovatek.com
There's info on that site that would put you in perfect position to make a clean image of a stock ROM!!! Yay! So if you happen to do all that.... I know a guy that could use a copy.
Thanks,
Mike
