Bought an A52 5G SD778G 8/128 earlier I had a Samsung device that supported dual messenger I used dual Whatsapp if worked flawlessly but after moving to a new device when I tried to restore my cloud/local backup I am not able to do it. but the same works with any 3rd party apps almost tried everything at last I raised a bug to get it fixed hope Samsung gets the work done asap. is anybody facing the same issue?
Experiencing the exact same problem on the S21. Very frustrating, especially because it was working fine until recently. Someone on Samsung Members said that using a secure folder to set up WhatsApp solves the issue, but haven't tried it myself yet.

I raised a report over it they said they will be fixing the problem in next update. And today i got an update but it still doesnt work.

Not sure if this happened to anyone yet. I looked through the threads but couldn't find anything.
Issue: Apps sometimes do not launch and require a restart.
Has this issue happened to anyone? Let me know if you have a fix. I thought it might be a problem with a patch or kernel. But my coworker is running stock and has the same problem.

I've had the same problem. It happened on a stock touchpad, just after installing the case, and placing on the touchstone. The app that would not open was the AccuWeather for touchpad.
I solved this by deleting the app, and re-downloading it. So far no problems.

I had the same issue and had a feeling that Accuweather was the issue considering it was not updating properly when on the touchstone.
Anyone getting an annoying triangle-shaped black flicker across the left of the screen when viewing content on iplayer?
I'm using stock browser, Flash 11 stock 3.1 Tom with TouchWiz.
If so, any suggestions to clear it?

Did you manage to resolve this issue. Just recently bought my tab and have the same issue.
I saw one fix which suggest to come out of full screen view and go back in (sometimes requires a couple of attempts).
The above actually works for me (requires to be done for every session). But would be interesting to know what the cause of it is. I have not experienced it in any other sort of video.

I still have the issue but find the full-screen back to small-screen toggle seems to help. How annoying. The most recent Flash update didn't fix it, and the most recent ROM update in the UK (Vodaphone) didn't solve it.
Had the same issue on my 8.9 tab after an automatic update of Flash.
Uninstalled the update and all was well again.
Your mileage might vary on a 10.1 but here's hoping this sorts you guys out too.

Yes that also worked for me, however I do wonder what we are missing out on from the later releases. Hope adobe will release another update that fixes the bits it broke with the last update. Thanks.
Ive noticed this once on mine, but i had my bluetooth headphones connected and just thought it was interference from them. After i disconnected them and just used the internal speakers, it was fine again. Ive not had the problem since. My problem is with the iplayer itself, you cant keep it running in the background which prevents you from multitasking!

yes that seems to be working for me too, i hope its just a software problem not hardware..
can anyone actually confirm that its really just the flash software..this really got me worried..

I have the black triangle issue with latest version of Flash Player. Can someone let me know what version of flash you are using to get rid of the triangle please?
Hi all, well finally some update came yesterday, I was really excited thinking the jelly is here, anyway I am happy at least is an improvement.
Usually when an update comes I try to see if all the apps work fine, however my sling player ( version 2.0.0.52) will only play on Sd,. HQ will connect and freeze on "optimizing".
My internet connection is fast, I tried to look around for solutions, but nothing yet.
Does anybody encounter the same problem, any solutions? Thanks

There are similar threads regarding HD video playability on latest ICS and no - there are no solution rather then going back to HC.
PS: Samsung rep (looks like non bright one but trained to read a script) suggested to do factory reset. You may try it.

I'm having the same problem with my Galaxy 7.0 + running ICS. Everything works perfectly EXCEPT the HQ mode. Another post says it is a port forwarding issue. But if it were, wouldn't the problem be on both SQ & HQ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473144

Thanks for the info Scott I shall in investigate further about the port forwarding settings in the router, but I think has to do with a software related issue more likely, since I couldn't find anything regarding any settings that will solve this beside the comment of the post you mention.
I have some experience with Samsung phones, mainly S2, Note 4 and J5 pro and I have never face any issue like this with the new S9+
Here is the issue:
I have gotten this phone a few days right after it launched in my country (Malaysia), everything at first was working wonderfully like how it should be, until about a week ago, I realised some of my photos and videos a disappearing by themselves! Upon checking the files, I was guessing it happened for almost a month now. Those disappeared photos are the ones that were taken using the default camera app while the survived ones were taken with third party app
I have been trying to recover those lost photos and I have tried all solution that I can find on Google but non of it solve the problem. At last, I resort to engaged Samsung support and they suggest me to monitor the phone in safe mode just to see if it was caused by third party app.
Wonder if any user faces the same problem? I read that some of their older models have this problems too but it doesn't seemed to be solved. It would be wonderful if anyone can tell me ways to stop it from happening or if you have the same encounter, how do you solve it?

Whatsapp keeps crashing​I need help urgently I can't use whatsapp It keeps crashing since yesterday and an error message ''something went wrong with your chat history ......'' I restores several times using different databases but of no use... It is not a corrupted chat history..
I had a problem since 30/9/2022 , That it crashes after local backup takes place ... i contacted whatsapp several times but no solution was offered... I found a method from threads for people suffering the same to backup manually and force stop the app before 2:00 am when local backup takes place... It worked well for last 4 months...
But yesterday , suddenly at afternoon, it crashes and error ''something went wrong...'' appears... I restored and it seems fine .. i reported the error to whatsapp help center.. and send the bug report.. they answered that the app is out of date .. So at midnight i updated the app.. and from then it keeps crashing .. i can't use the App.
I found many people reporting this bug , explaining the same happening to me specially since february 2023

What android version? What device? Any idea what version the app was before? Do not panic, worst case you can get a old apk

Weird… I think WhatsApp needs to fix this. For now, get a old apk from apkmirror.
scroll to a older version.
