Not recognized by my RMX2202 with IN ROM. When I try to extracting it's interrupted with error

Backup Firmware: download
Instructions:
1. Download both the backup and SuperSU
2. Extract the folder in the rar file provided
3. Place folder in SD Card directory /external_sd/TWRP/BACKUPS/<random name>/ (<random name> is for example YT9117YQ98 for me, you need to place the backup in there)
5. Wipe data, cache and system
4. Restore backup from SD in TWRP
3. Flash SuperSU version provided (recommended)
4. Reboot into system
5. Enjoy the update

I do not write well in English, but the essence is:
Change to TXT Editor mps_code.dat It is located at the root of the device ( efs/imei)
Change
SER
Then you download and install a single-file firmware for the SER region and then request OTA update 7.0
Pro tip for anyone on stock with knox still active, Flash SER Firmware 6.0.1 with Odin and then do an OTA update.
When i try to install every rom using twrp getting :
checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no Md5 file found
"Updater process ended with ERROR:255
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/...zip"
already tried to re-download or download the same but from different source, same thing happen.

Mount/data untick in recovery. Or if your rom in sdcard, move to ex-sdcard.

. The problem is with the custom recovery. Just use the lates version of the custom recovery. If you try to install lineage os 15.1 which is based on android 8.1 then it can't be done using twrp below 3.1.x as the lower versions were not developed keeping android oreo in mind. Hope this helps.

4. make sure your device show in tool device list.
5. click Start to start flashing rom.
6. Do not Remove USB untill tool show COMPLETE or PASS
If you facing Boot.img fail problem or Rom fail to install then try this
METHOD 2

and
if you get any problem then go to fastboot mode and flash your XT1792 MODEL stock rom ( https://www.stockrom.net/2017/10/st...a-moto-g5-s-montana-android-7-1-1-nougat.html )

i use on Twrp it error
but flash emui 5.1 to eumi 8 Success

Now, if the newer version It's version 3.2.1.0. It only supports android 8.0

It should work by updating the busybox binary in the twrp image, I can do this tonight as I'm at work now

Post log again. But are you using the one by kilroystyx in Mate 10 Lite part? Because that's the one I found there. Else post your twrp image and I'll just use it instead.

What is your other TWRP, the one that gives Error 1?
Post link to thread or upload so I can use it to replace busybox binary.
It seems the one by killroy can't mount internal sd, or maybe it's due to me using the Android Image studio app to repack the image.

Seems something is up with /sbin/sh. I could try building a new one if I can find a device tree for Mate 10 lite. You should actually be able to use any hi6250 twrp (maybe slight modifications are needed.)
