Question Spotify login problem - Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro

When trying to login to Spotify I get the following error message:
''You're offline check your connection and try again"
I am connected to wifi and internet works fine. Also Spotify is working ok on my Pixel 6.
Is there a way to fix this?

I've just confirmed that Spotify works for me, so this might be an isolated incident.

Hmm ok thx for the reply. Strange that it only happens on the MiPad 5 Pro
Update: Found the solution uninstalled youtube vanced (including gapps) then rebooted. After that there is a popup if you login to spotify that it can't access wlan accepting that fixes the issue.

It works, thanks !

Redirecting from google.com to fake Flash Player page

Hello everyone,
I have got a big problem. Yesterday, my phone have started to redirect from google.com and facebook.com pages to fake Flash Player page. I can't remove this issue, even flash a firmware didn't help me. Also I can tell you, that before i notice that, my girlfried used my phone and install some games "from unknow sources", not from Google Play.
Anyone could help me to get rid out of this problem?
And sorry for my bad English... I have hope, that you can understand me
EDIT:
I forget to write, that I use Wi-Fi connection, and I didn't try 3G. I don't have a data packet.
EDIT2:
Now i resolve the problem. It was my router, I have restored it to fabric settings and everything works fine now, but I wonder how it is possible that my computer wasn't affected by this issue.
Anyway, thread may be closed.

[Q] Google Now won't work offline!

Hi guys,
I registered specifically for this question, and I hope to find the answer here.
My understanding is that I can use Google Now voice commands offline "as long as it was for something that doesn't need an internet connection to perform" like setting alarm and opening apps.
and for that purpose I have to install the appropriate language under "offline speech recognition", which I already have it pre-installed on my phone.
The issue here is that while I'm connected to the internet via wifi, Google Now works fine, but the moment I turn wifi off and go offline, Google Now stops working! It still recognize the hot word trigger "OK Google" but after listening to my command it shows this response "Didn't catch that. Try speaking again".
I turn wifi on, and it works again! even though I used the same exact voice command!
I have language pack pre-installed on my Moto G "running Kitkat", and everything seems to be in order, so why isn't it working offline? Is there something I missed here?
Here is the screenshots where you'll see that everything checks out, yet no Google Now offline!
First the scenario when I'm still online via wifi, everything works fine:
***
Now, when I turn off wifi and go offline:
***
My settings:
*** I have English (US) pre-installed
*** I tried to post the images but I got an error bc I'm new user and have to have 10 posts to post links here
I hope someone would explain to me what's wrong here.
Same huge problem
I have the exact same problem.
You would think that an offline task as setting an alarm must be possible.
This is a huge problem as I am not connected to the internet 24/7.
Same here, on CM11..
Is this really not resolved yet? Am I missing something?

[Q] Localcast not connecting to chormecast

A friend has an SII that he wants to use localcast and showbox on - to play through his chromecast. I have done this successfully with my SIII without any issues.
When he opens localcast he doesnt see a cast icon ... i told him to factory reset the phone and try again. He was then able to see the cast button but never able to connect to the chromecast. Same thing happens with Avia and other cast apps.
Im getting his phone tonight to have a look (he's not using it as a phone- theres no sim in it and its just a remote for the chormecast basically) and see if I can fix it but im wondering if this is a limitation to the older android models. Not too sure if he is still on ICS or Jellybean.
Anyone have any experience with this happenening or any thoughts on how to resolve?

Hi, I am the developer of LocalCast.
Once you have the phone, please check if the Playservices app is updated.
This whole 'cannot connect to Chromecast / Chromecast icon missing' thing, is a Playservices / Chromecast bug.
It usually works for a while after rebooting the phone and the chromecast. If it doesn't: reboot both again.

You mentioned he could be on ICS: there seems to be a bug:

MIUI 8 Porting bugs on MTK6580

Hi folks!
I have ported MIUI 8 for MTK6580 chipsets. Everything is working fine, but I'm facing three minor bugs that I can't fix:
- Everytime I open the camera and click on Panorama Mode, I get FC (Force Close) message. Third party camera apps from Play Store are working fine. I have replaced cam libs from stock to port without success.
- Bluetooth cannot autopair. Everytime that I disable Bluetooth connection, the phone "forgets" the devices that I have paired before. I have checked bt_config file from /data/misc/bluedroid/ and realised that this file resets itself when turning bluetooth on/off.
- Hotspot is working fine, but I can't set a password so access point is always open. Well, I can set the password on the phone but when I connect the laptop or any device to my mobile hotspot, it is open (unsecured).
Hope you guys can help me.
Thanks in advance.

Amazfit Stratos 3 - Bluetooth Earphones Music Issue

Hi,
Recently my Amazfit Stratos 3 is unable to pair with any music device using bluetooth (i.e. earphones, earbus, etc.). Bluetooth works when pairing with the phone app but when trying to connect with my earphones it says "Turning Bluetooth on" and then "Bluetooth is off".
It was working fine a week ago and nothing changed.
Tried to restart, shut down, etc.. but no luck.
Anyone has any thoughts?
Try a factory reset.
I had a similar problem with bluetooth, when I turned on wifi it worked bluetooth too. It might work for you too.

I have the very same problem. Bluetooth is working for syncing with the App, but cant get it work for pairing with earphones. Always says blueetohd off. This happened to me after upgradng to firmware to 4.2.4.0. Before that version it was working perfectly.
After reaching out to support several times and providing an error report the answer was :
We have checked your issue and it is an issue that cannot be solved online
This seems a canned response, I don believe that suddenly the watch is "broken"

Hi,
Also got that response from Amazfit support. They have asked me to do further tests to the connectivity but they all fail. I don't know how to fix this issue..
Any suggestions are welcomed..
