Question How to add a custom Quick Settings tile - Google Pixel 6

Hello,
As the title says, anyone know how to do that?
For example to add an NFC on/off switch or at least a shortcut to the NFC settings.

I suspect something like Tasker could do that?

Use adb shell, then:
Code:
$ settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles "<TILE>,$(settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles)"
where <TILE> is the codename of the tile which you want to add, e.g. 'wifi' or 'cell' or 'alarm' ...
For NFC specifically, I tried to add NFC tile with 'nfc' ... however, does not work !
I'm sure this worked on Android 11 but does not seem to work on Android 12.

I use this app to add custom QS tiles. It's really quite a good app for this, imo.

When you create a new tile, you can set an icon, but this icon is just a little square inside the tile
You can also set a brackground image, this image will completly fill the tile.
"You can also set a brackground image, this image will completly fill the tile." -> This is what i would like, to find some icons like that. It takes too many time to create them manually, one by one.
One more thing : is there any solution to remove icon in order to keep only background image ?

"The new systemUI is a built in hidden Samsung feature. It's enabled by changing the "upgradeLollipop" option in the systemUI from true to false.
I wrote that this is experimental as I think it's not a fully developed feature by Samsung (for example the edit option doesn't work for me, and you can't expand the quicksettings tiles to see them all), so some stuff probably wont work.
I wont be looking at specific cases for this option."
Cheers!
I hope Circle battery has tinted color for next version. (Currently white battery color on white status bar.) Thank you.

I'm using a Note 4 on Sprint and I appreciate your hard work at adding these extra features.
If you're taking requests I would love to see more options for the status bar clock, specifically options to hide the am/pm and options for changing the clock font (italics, bold, bold+italics, etc). Also would be cool to be able to hide the carrier label.
I´m on NOTE 910F Dr. Ketan M3 rom a everythink works fine. Thanks for your work. Can you add more circle battery sizes (larger, largest) please. Large size is still small for me.
thanks mate... everything worked perfect at note edge 915f android 6.01.
but i didnt understand what for enable experimental Samsung 6.0.1 SystemUI. we still marshmallow. ididnt see any change
Seems that if you enable collapse on toggle for the notification shade it doesn't allow the notification shade to stay open anymore, just collapses after swiping down regardless of hitting a toggle or not.
Nice to see this module in his own thread. Please consider removing the popup flight mode not only when you enable it but also when you disable it. Thank you!

It was very strange in original module - i previously had L version (in my foot note didnt have time to change it yet) and it was working....for some time...later not, and later worked again and later again dont randomly have no idea why.
But showing data usage on status bar (2 arrows upload and download and kb/s worked...i dont know if it was from wanam or gravitybox but here nothing works.
I have a problem to report when i turn on Ultra power saving mode and then turn it off i get "Unfortunately,System UI has stopped" cand you fix this ? . Thanx

Editing shape of quick settings icon

I just discovered that Android 7.x Nougat allows third party apps to add own icons/buttons to the list of available quick settings icons/buttons by specifying them in manifest file, but I don't know details, any idea? Tips? Links to read?
Does a quick setting icon require a "complete" app to work, or does it rely only on some kind of a link to a system feature? For example, if I want to add a new icon to toggle WiFi, would it be enough to create a dummy app with a manifest which points to WiFi enabling, or would I need to manually write the code to enable Wifi?
