Question Redmi 10 128GB - Redmi Note 10

Hello,
i got my mom new phone. After initial configuration + update to latest stock miui, this problem started to show at random. You can hear that touch is working when screen i garbled. I think this is software issue but any suggestions will help.

Try restart if it is not working then press power button and volume up button for until Redmi logo appears then reset it through mi recovery

@durga5151 I did factory reset yesterday but the phone still doing this.
Ok, thanks i will try this

If you have warranty ask for replacement.

Is the recovery screen working properly? If not, it's a hardware error.

Hello,
yes fastboot and recovery boot screens work and operate perfectly fine.
Also sometimes it fixes itself after lock/unlock again.

In that case, you need to completely clean your phone and reinstall the system. MiFlash20181115 + the corresponding latest Miui ROM (fastboot = *.tgz). "Clear all" mode.

Yep, gonna do that, i'm waiting my bootloader to unlock and i'm thinking flashing the phone with Pixel Exp. to see if the problem will occur, if not i will reflash with stock rom.
Ty for you help

Did the reflash "Clear all" all was working until i configured face recognition, then problem reoccurred. I think there is
HW problem, maybe with front facing camera.

Bought this phone a week ago and this same thing occurs once in a day and to fix it i just turn the screen off and on and it goes away, judging from this scenario do you guys think if it's a hardware issue? Or it might be a software bug?... Thanks in advance!

first try with reset your phone, if not solved, then flash rom with miflash tool with "clean all" option, if still the problem occuring then, u should go to the service center.

I'll try that, thanks!

Two weeks later still no such problem, after i disabled face recognition. Working with fingerprint, no problems.

Ohh, I'm not using the face recognition lock and still getting this once a day, all I'm worried about is if it'll get worse in the future or not.

So if you did clear all reflash and it's not giving this issue anymore that could mean it's probably a software bug
Ps. When it was happening I tried squeezing on the screen with fingers to make it go away as if the screen would properly connect with the connecters but it just stays static and what helps it go away is just putting it in lockscreen and out with the power button.

So it happened again just now making it twice today and i decided i wanna reflash the phone,
Did you flash the stock rom file again or did something else? Just let me know what rom should i flash,

The area circled in the image, is not registering any touch. i cannot choose Motorola Widget, i cannot press the back button in Dialer, i cannot choose Sign In when you first set-up the Google Account. It seems like that line on the screen is dead or something.
i tried format data/cache/system/ in recovery mode and fastboot mode, i flashed several ROMs (Alien, Aura, piCRUST even sbf the original 4.5.91 from Motorola) to see if it's ROM-related but problem not solved. i even replaced the screen protector and its still the same.
anyone have seen this before and suggest a solution????
- Update: i also try Touchscreen Booster suggested in another thread, but still no help.
- Also, the navalynt ROM does have a new kernel, which i did flashed, but the problem is still there. i flashed back to Alien with the default kernel, the touchscreen is still messed up.
anyone suggest something???
Reboot into CWM and do a "permissions fix".
As your last resort, clean install stock 2.3.4 with full wipe.
If that doesn't help, then unfortunately your digitizer is dying.
Did you skipped the MotoBlur account setup?
If so, then try to set it up and see if that helped.
Cheers!

I tried permission fix last night and the problem is still there. i also did a clean install of stock sbf 2.3.4 and fully wipe everything i can think of ( i thought it was the webtop hack that cause the problem, so i tried to delete all ) but its still there. i think this might be a hardware problem at this point. this sucks
also, my phone's root is now crazy im on Alien 4. it denied access of Quickboot but granted access to Root Explorer, which is weird.
ok, so i have tried everything i have searched on this forum: permission fix, pdsfix flash, change the value of touchpad.cfg, reflash stock sbf twice, and im still having this problem (see picture below). anyone know what is the symptoms of this ????
(i flashed ROMs occasionally, from stock to Alien, to Aura, to Homebase, i also tried webtop hack over hdmi).
anyone can help define my screen problems like in the picture???? i press one spot and the screen registers 2 touch. i now have 2 dead area on my screen.
Holy hell this is EXACTLY what my phone is doing.Except mine is randomly touching the top left corner of the screen. So when I type it enters the letter q no matter what letter I hit. Today it got so bad that everytime I hit the backspace button it would type q 5 times.
It seems asthough the multitouch hack seems to scew up the digitizer.
When I "hit" the phone (against my hand, and the phone is in a Otterbox) sometimes it would fix it. Or if a press hard on certain corners of the glass.
I reflashed the phone today to Home Base, and it hasnt done it since. I even ran Quadrant and Smart bench for a hour, while running at 1.3Ghz, and it didnt do it. So its not the phone heating up. But I am not certain its fixed. Its very random.
My only answer is the digitizer. Which is gonna suck. Not going to be as easy to fix as a iphone..

Samsung Galaxy s3 NOT ROOTED stuck at Logo Screen

I know this has been asked dozens if not hundreds of times, but it seems everyone has bricked their phone by rooting.
My phone has never been rooted, and I have had it working fine for at least 9 months now.
It was working all day and when I got home from school I plugged it into the charger the same as every night and when I woke up it was stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy III" screen.
I have no idea how to fix this please help, I cannot get into recovery mode it just says "recovery 'something'" and disappears quickly then shows the Logo Screen again before shutting off.
I can get into download mode and I guess I have to start from there.
I don't want to do a wipe without at least getting into it in safe mode somehow and backing up some things, please help.
Oh and if it helps no new software was added since the last reboot, the only thing I could think of that changed from it working fine to this morning was my alarm? It was supposed to go off sometime in the morning maybe that froze it up? Other than that I have no idea why it would brick all of a sudden

i9100 wont charge

Hello, I have a little question, recently a friend told me if I can fix his i9100, cause "it remains at logo"
My surprise was that the phone doesnt even charge, when I plug it to the power, a battery that aparently is loading apears, for 2 segs, and then the screen turn off, and then the battery icon agains, and remains in a infinite loop but wont charge
Someone have this problem and knows how to repair it? I wish the problem isnt hardware :/

You will have to reflash a stock rom using ODIN. Don't worry because there are many guides over the internet. Guide: http://mobilenetworkcomparison.org.uk/tutorials/how-to-restore-the-stock-samsung-galaxy-s2-rom/
Make sure you download the rom for the correct version of phone!
Once you've flashed stock rom, make sure to factory reset and wipe cache partition. (note: don't do this if you are going to flash ics because this might hard brick your device)

YOTA 3 + fingerprint registration problem

Hi friends.
My name is Marcos Feresin from Argentina.
I hope you can help me.
I have a YOTA 3 + global running Android 8.1 with last YetiOS 8.1.0 update from November 13.
Everything worked grate until I did a factory reset and when I must register my fingerprints the process never completes.
It's like it reads the fingerprint but the circle that shows the consecutive touches is stuck in the first read and doesn't advance anymore (the fingerprint icon shows blue movement as reading and vibration but never completes the circle).
I attach screenshots and a screen record of the problem.

Hi!
I had the same problem and I resolved it re-flashing the rom (I have a yota 3 flashed in yota 3+) and registering the fingerprints before the update.
It seems that the problem is in the YetiOS 8.1.0 version.

I'm glad that's a simple update problem but I have a couple of doubts ... first, I never Flashed any ROM on this phone, then I wonder if can I use the same method to convert the yota3 to yota3+ to Flash my yota3+? To fix it like you did.
Or do I just flash a ROM because it already is a YOTA3+?
And what ROM do I must use?
I'm so afraid of ruining my phone because for now there is very little information on this terminal. Maybe I must wait for some OTA update..

I followed this. It's quite simple.
Unfortunately I'm not an expert, I just read what I found here, so i don't know if you can use the same procedure. (I did it twice, so the second time it should have been as I flashed a yota 3+ from a yota 3+, but...)
Maybe you can try to ask in that discussion, just to be sure.

Finger Print Registration ISSUE / Software Update
Hi Friends,
Even I am facing the same problems.
1. The Finger Print is not working, like I cannot add my finger it accept / scan only one time with vibration. { See Attachments }
2. Weather update interval is kept for 30 Minutes or 1 Hour automatically, but it’s not updating. { See Attachments }
3. Double Tap to Lock / Unlock on both the screens, that was one of the major thing which I like in yotaphone2., where i can't find in yota3+.
4. Turning screen (Color to EPD) / button like Yotaphone 3 or unlocking the EPD from front screen in One finger / Swipe like Yotaphone 2.
5. In EPD Screen when we try to drag left (or) right there is a vibration, which doesn’t required need an option to disable.
6. On top of this they have blocked my Wipedata / Factory Reset.
Thanks,
Chenu

Samsung s8 plus it keeps restart, and now cant turn on

Hello everybody, I have a problem with my s8 plus Samsung, suddenly my phone froze, and begin to restart, almost 15 times or more. Then I did a force restart by holding volume down and power button, and after then its start-up usually for 10min, and again restarts, after I connecting to the power cable to changing, it stops charging. Then didn't response for nothing. DEAD, and after I leave it for a couple of hours, I tried to enter safe mode and to wipe cache memory. I thought maybe some app is causing a problem, and I run a test, and it shows me like this. On google, I found that probably is the motherboard, but somebody says its maybe last android update. And my friend says that perhaps it is RAM. Can somebody help me, I only want to access my phone to enter the gallery and save photos, then after that, the phone can be lifetime dead, it doesn't concern me. Thanks for helping me

Finally, after almost 12h, I successfully power on my phone, and when I turn on, it showed me this error. Now I think maybe is everything ok with the motherboard because when I type on google this problem, it says that after Samsung Knox update, many users have this problem with the phone.
