How To Guide Guide to disable Knox and privacy intrusion on Samsung A7 Tab [NO ROOT] - Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

The method is derived from This post and does not require root access hence doesn't void Warranty or trips Knox:-
This is a Noob-friendly and Safe Method. The wireless debugging section might be new to people though.
This method is demonstrated in this youtube video as well and all the download links are given in the video description
Primary tools and methods used are:-
ADB Tools
FrpUnclock
SamsungDriver
Disabled Driver signature
Wireless debugging
Step:-1 [Preparing the device and using FRP remover]
First of all, reset the device (hard reset before removing any existing account )
Wipe Data and cache partition and reboot to system.
Select language and go to next
Accept conditions and proceed to wifi selection.
Login to your wifi and press back instead of going forward
Now you should get the language selection screen.
Connect your device to PC and launch FRP Tool.
For this tool to work properly in Windows 10, you must disable Driver Signature Enforcement.
Now in SamsunFRP tap on disable Driver Signature,
[Before proceeding ensure that the wifi connection on the phone is working]
Click on BypassFRP (It may ask to install the driver but you should install the driver given in below)

Step:-2 [Downloading QuickShortcut to ignore Knox]
Click on View and it will launch youtube then Chrome.
In chrome don't signup yet and in the search tab search for "vnrom"
select first link stating BYPASS GOOGLE ACCOUNT 2021 - vNORM.net
On the opened page scroll and download "QuickShortCutMaker.apk"
Allow installation from chrome and launch the application.
[Disconnect from your WIFI]
In the application search box search for "Setup"
Expand the Android Setup and select the last section (Just above the other "Android Setup" with Clock Logo)
vlcsnap-2021-12-27-23h52m16s102.png
Select Try
vlcsnap-2021-12-27-23h53m14s399.png
It will show Preparing for Setup... (let it take its time)
It will soon display the screen. Now lock the device and use the notification drawer to access settings
Knox might try to peep in but keep using the notification drawer to access settings.
Under the settings use developer mode (re-enable if not visible)
Step 3:- Using Wireless Debugging to disable knox permanently
Ensure pc and device on same network and disable any internet connection.
Ensure there is only LAN but no internet access as here Knox will attempt to regain control.
GO to Developer Options and select Wireless Debugging.
Now in your PC navigate to ADB/Platform Tools and launch CMD or Powershell by pressing Shift and right-click Open PowerShell here.
If using CMD type command as adb pair.
else in PowerShell type command as ".\adb pair".
Check this tutorial to connect the device to adb wirelssly.
Once you are connected to the device
enter
.\adb shell
pm disable-user --user 0 com.sec.enterprise.knox.cloudmdm.smdms
exit
vlcsnap-2021-12-27-23h55m09s659.png
Now enjoy your Bloatfree tablet.
You can change wallpaper add your own account and do everything as there will be no restrictions or Privacy invasion.
Note:- Updating or Resetting the device will roll back all the changes and you will have to repeat the procedure again
Thank you

Dude if anyone haven't connected the tab to the internet from the time of purchase, then more simple way is there. Don't connect the tab to the wifi instead skip in the startup setup, get to the homescreen of tab, then open settings & activate developer's option. from their activate usb debugging and use the same command as mentioned in adb cmd. and then you are free to connect with internet and use tab without knox getting into action. but you have to deactivate auto update from developers and system upate menu in settings. Soon i will put a youtube video for that!!! Njoy

yes its very helpful & i thank u for that. with that guide of you and @AddictedA1 , i was able to break my first tab, now i'm just xploring other ways! this method is same as yours, but since device was opened for the first time and it havent enrolled not once with knox, we can enter home tab screen easily, so we can bypass the initial steps and go to the cmd step directly. it's the same output in end!

Claims that disconnecting internet at 50 percent in setup will result in able to change wallpaper?
Can someone confirm this or should I do all the way without disrupting internet. As harder setting the device is also sending information regarding number of resets.

Can't confirm it since didn't have a chance to try that
But do you just want to remove the wallpaper and let the monitoring and stuff be as is?

Yes, I'm not sure I'll be restriction privacy access as we have a ID tag already to the device.
Though when ppl think they can somehow restrict privacy without using FBE on FDE rom that's highly unlikely.

Installation from Chrome does not work for me. Has this been patched? Because other FRP Removals had similar methods where you download a app in Chrome but none of them work cause of this.

[GUIDE] obtaining ROOT access in Intenso TAB 824

MOD EDIT: VRoot discussions aren't currently allowed on XDA as it is under review. Be aware that Vroot is known to collect your IMEI, S/N and more information, and is able to download (any) file from their servers, which may or may not include malware. Thread closed.
I have sacrificed a lot of time trying to be administrator of my own 824 . Currently this is the ONLY WAY which works on my device. Its described on german page (link removed), but I realize its hard language ( I cant speak it too ), so I give full description of rooting sweet 824:
1. enable USB Debugging in developer settings while ur device is not connected to anything
2. switch ur connecting mode to PTP ( storage>'upper right corner options')
3. download and install application from this site link removed
4. run the program and connect ur tab in PTP mode.
5. click ROOT. After few minutes ur 824 will reboot ( not much longer than usual)
6. if u wanna check if the process is accomplished u can check it with Terminal Emulator entering su and observing # prefix
7. enjoy
U can try it with other devices u couldnt root and give feedback.

MetroPCS & T-Mobile LG Leon STABLE Root (WORKS EVERY TIME 100%)

I am making this tutorial as I have had multiple versions of the LG LTE Leon and have used many firmware versions. I have created a stable method that has the least issues as I have had trouble with the latest firmware (MS34510f) disabling my root privileges. I have created a MEGA account specifically for all of the files necessary to complete this operation and have your device run smoothly. So, please follow my instructions exactly as stated and you should not have any issues. THIS PROCESS WILL REMOVE ALL DATA NOT SYNCED, DO READ BELOW NOTES IT IS VERY BENEFICIAL
Important Notes:
+This process will wipe all data that is not synced, it is important to ensure that no newer LG process are still on the device. Some might argue to leave data, to that I say good luck keeping your root and tethering without the device becoming suspiciously unstable.
+ I am not GUARANTEEING this will work on every model, but I have had an extremely high success rate with all Leon versions.
+ In this tutorial the process in which I remove Kingroot and replace it with SuperSu is for system stability. I find that most root functions I use seem to not work properly. (Wifi Tether Router and many others). So, I do recommend doing so.
+After the new OS is installed a MetroPCS splash screen will appear even if you do have T-Mobile. DO NOT BE ALARMED this firmware will not limit any functionality you had before, it will even help with tethering functionality.
Tutorial:
Let's Begin.
1. Download the link posted to obtain required files for this tutorial
Link: https://mega.nz/#F!PM4CQRqb!92kgIOnD0ZBY-8HVbtTwGQ
2. Open up LGFlashTool2014.exe
Begin by copying settings posted below, then click "normal flash"
3. Next click the "START" button
4. At this time, I recommend you verify all sync settings are to your liking and that all personal info needed is backed up
a. You have the option to throw all of your personal documents/pictures onto your SD card and removing it appropriately
(Go to: Settings - Storage - [scroll down to] Unmount SD card)
b. Next, navigate to Settings -Backup & reset [leave options default; both checked off] - Factory data reset - reset phone
c. Once reset it will most likely reboot, wipe, and then back to a OS. Now, you will Power Off entirely (make sure it is not plugged in so it will not go to charging mode)
d. Here is where we will hold down the Volume Up button with the phone unplugged from your PC. Then you must plug the USB into your phone.
e. A black screen with white text should post onto your screen, here we will continue to step 6
note: If this screen does not appear please power off and retry step d.
6. Next, follow the posted settings. Make sure to click the "Clear phone Software update Registry" button Then click "OK"
7. A new screen will arrive, and should begin the firmware download process. At this time it will take a few minute to load and should reboot to a fresh OS.
8. With the new OS in place, you can either follow the setup tutorial now or skip through for a later setup.
note: you can now insert your SD card
9. In the tools folder of the folder you downloaded copy the "mrw" folder to the Main Storage folder of your phone
10. Now copy the Kingroot apk to your downloads folder located on the main storage.
11. Go to Settings - About Phone - Software Info
At this time click the build number box a few times until it says you are a developer
12. Hit back until you are at the Setting menu, click on Developer options and check off "Stay Awake" and "Enable OEM Unlock" as well as "USB Debugging"
13. You may now run Kingroot, if it does not install root the first time it should flawlessly install the next.
14. After root is obtained, please go to your home screen and click the "Google Search" widget. Press Update Google Services and let it run. After that has been updated search for terminal emulator and install.
note: If the Play Store is acting fishy and force closing while typing in the search bar do not fret it will be fixed after reboot in further instruction
as an allternative use the jackpal.androidterm-1.0.70-71-minAPI4.apk provided in the "tools" folder
15. Open terminal and in a new window type: Su
16. Allow root usage and at this time type: sh /storage/emulated/0/mrw/root.sh
17. It will run with a few failed messages do not worry it should open SuperSu momentarily
18. Once SuperSu opens up allow it to update binaries using the "NORMAL" option but DO NOT REBOOT YET
19. At this time either download TWRP Manager from the play store or alternatively use the com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager-7.5.1.3-82-minAPI11.apk provided in the tools folder
20. Install and open TWRP Manager. Once opened click on device name and scroll until you see "LG Leon LTE (c50)"
a. Click on Recovery Version to Install and select "twrp-2.8.7.0-c50.img"
b. next click "Install Recovery" and if prompted for verification of install path and for install version select "YES" & "NORMAL"
21. After the TWRP setup is complete it may prompt you to reboot, if not click the arrow in the top left of the TWRP Manager screen and scroll down to "Reboot" and select "Reboot device"
22. After Reboot click TWRP Manager and verify a SuperSu prompt comes up if it hasn't already before the boot
At this point the device should be running smoothly. From here I prefer to do the following steps.
My Personal Setup after new install:
+Personally I like to install use a Root Uninstaller (I use 3C Toolbox Pro) and Uninstall and Backup all MetroPCS BloatWare including the Metro Browser.
+I also access the Hidden Menu by using the Dialer and Dial "2776348*#*"
- I scroll down to ApnUnlock and click to "Unlock APN"
- Then I navigate to Settings -Tethering & networks - Mobile Networks (I check off roaming data) - Access point names
--I then select the top APN and edit APN Type to: default, supl, mms, dun
---I click save from the top right selection, then turn on and off airplane mode
+If you are and Xposed user download "xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip","xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm.zip", and "XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk" from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
-install the Xposed Installer, then Go to TWRP Manager, use reboot to recovery and from there click install and navigate to the "xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip" and install and reboot, it will reboot with a installing screen before your home screen, takes 5 minutes.
+I also use this AMAZING app "Wifi Tether Router", it is the only tethering app I use that works consistently (if you have an unlimited data plan). I get 30mbps up and down, playing many multiplayer games off my PC and PS4 averaging ping as low as 30 ! Setting I use for our device are in a post I created here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/leon/help/unlimited-metropcs-t-mobile-tether-t3290180

Apologies for the late response, I never received a notification of your posting. I would not recommend that as I believe the H340 has a different "radio" driver or cellular chip, If I'm not mistaken the H340 isn't even LTE, the H345 is. In that case it may be possible. One thing I suggest doing before wasting your time in using any other ROM is googling H345 vs Ms345, typically the phonemore.com results will provide you with an abundance of hardware specs and let you know if they're different! Just be weary of the newest MS34510f_00.KDZ firmware I believe it has an active unroot process I've had some stability issues. I am using MS34510D_00.KDZ for months and have had no issues whatsoever! Again, I'm sorry I got back to you so late, let me know how everything goes!

Same here (firmware update) usb not detected when using the S/W update tool
After going all the way through this guide with a T-Mobile Leon, I do indeed have a Metro PCS ROM and root, which is great! Unfortunately, it also refuses to acknowledge my T-Mobile SIM. In fairness, I did not even insert a SIM for the first time (just got the phone) until the end of the process, but it shows as carrier locked which is significantly less than useful. I'll flash back to a TMO rom and put the SIM in to double check, but it's quite a bummer. Great job on the guide otherwise, though! It definitely did what it says on the tin; I have root and apart from the SIM lock which may be my fault somehow it works great.

Thx for this tool, not just for the sake of it, but for the sake of us newbies being able to learn some basics from reading a batch file as well.

I have the Samsung drivers installed and USB debugging on, however, the bat file stays on "Waiting for device". Normally I would get a notification granting my comp privileges for the debugging but no dice.

OK, so I am dependent upon WiFI calling at work, and I did this, but maybe it's because I have an 11 month old or I don't know what but I must not have saved the BAT file correctly. anyway, I broke my WiFi calling.
- EDIT: it works if I turn it on with the quick icon - but if I go to settings, and click more networks, then click wifi calling it just crashes settings every time. any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Reactivation Lock work around

Hello, i found a gear fit2 while out jogging, advertised to try find the owner and no one replied, so now i have this unit ....i did a factory reset and of course now the activation lock is on by the original owner. Is there a way of resetting this so i can use it? Is it a firmware installation process i need to do to solve this? or do i just throw it in the rubbish bin?
Thanks in advance for any help.
same issue when bought a Gear S2 on ebay. Returned the watch, can not do anything to remove activation lock easily.
For Gear S2 there is a guy wich can unlock with remote PC connection and it ask $45 (search youtube for Gear S2 activation lock).

Hi did you ever finish? I would be happy to pay you some$ for the files. I'd rather pay you than one of these jerks trying to extort money from people on youtube.
So it's not hard to put the thing into download mode wireless, and connect to it over wifi with my computer. the rest of the process and the files though, I don't have.
Thanks
I paid
I paid 30usd and he unlocked it for me. It works great. 1hr.
What ADB Commands are Needed?
Getting the files is not a big deal, it's what you do once you have them that matters. The part that's missing that all the Shady greedy unlock service providers try to hide from you when they do the removal process, are the ADB Commands they use to remove the activation lock.
Basically they use net Odin and recovery wireless download mode (AP) to flash firmware revision that lets you enter developer mode and enable ADB, and then ADB into the Gear Fit 2 and remove the lock via ADB command, while they have Echo off to hide what they're doing in the command window.
after it's done and you reboot, you net Odin flash to regular retail firmware. And you're done
Does anyone know the ADB Commands are once the Fit 2 is connected, to remove activation lock?
Could be common to what is done for Samsung's other Tizen smart watches.

Do you still have the steps? Other than the files what are the ADB Commands once connected? Thanks
Steps for everyone else since the OP seems to have disappeared. Here is the basics, what we're missing are the ADB commands to remove the actual protection. Someone can fill in the blank please since I saw everything but those commands (they were hidden)
1. Download Net Odin and install. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1...WhHTzFLNHhTbUk - Also have ADB installed on your computer. Minimal ADB and Fastboot is one package you can use for this.
2. Also youll need to download a gear fit 2 factory diagnostic? firmware here ver U1DQH1 works - http://www.gsm-file.com/files/factorysw-combination-file-6378 . And a set of normal firmware. Such as from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1...Wp6MnNsWHpLelE
3. Hold power down on gear fit 2 until you see rebooting in blue, while it says that hit power button 2-3 times to get to bootloader menu. use power to move to Download (wireless) and hold power down to select. as soon as it enters Download wireless mode, hit power twice quickly to change to AP mode.
4. Run Net Odin and leave it running. Then go to your wireless settings and connect to the now-visible Gear Fit 2. After a few minutes, Net Odin should show an IP address in the box on the left.
5. Click the AP button in Net Odin and load the unzipped combination FTMA file you downloaded above. Hit Start and flash it. Once done, Fit 2 will reboot to a screen with yellow diagnostic info. Hit Power, settings, connection, wifi, turn it on, then connect to your wireless internet connection.
6. Once connected, then touch that network connection in the Fit 2 connection list to open up details, and note the ip address (example: 192.168.201.12).
7. Hit back button to go back into settings, then Gear Info, then enable developer mode (this enables ADB), then hit back to back out of settings menu
8. Open up a command prompt window in the directory where you have adb.exe, and type adb connect IPADDRESS:26101
- note IPADDRESS is your Ip address you noted above, and the :26101 is a port number. So using above example, I would type:
adb connect 192.168.201.12:26101
9. Once connected, type adb devices and you should see it listed.
10. THIS IS THE MISSING STEP - here are the ADB commands to remove the activation lock settings/flags. SOMEONE PLEASE FILL THIS IN
11. Once step 10 is done, hold power to reboot your Fit 2 (it's ready to be flashed with retail firmware), and just like before, but it into Download wireless mode, and AP mode.
-to check if the lock is removed, you can instead first select download mode (USB) instead of wireless, and see if it says ACTIVATION LOCKFF to confirm/doublecheck
12. In Net Odin take your unzipped retail firmware files and place each file as named in filenames, in the appropriate slots for AP, CSC, and BL. Hit Start to flash.
13. Once done and rebooted, should be clean and good to go.
These steps should pretty much encapsulate the process of what these guys are doing via Teamviewer, it's the ADB steps we are missing. Hopefully there's someone out there not trying to profit off of everyone whos nice enough to help us fill that part in. Thanks.
Thanks PaulieP for the tutorial... I need this but your files on drive are 404, can you add shared link please
I just found a gear fit2 on my bike ride this morning. I'd be pretty upset if I lost this myself so I wanted to see what my options are for returning it to its owner. With technology today, I'd assume that there's gotta be some way to find the owner of a device...
Does anyone have any ideas

Guess they pulled the files but it doesn't matter, there are a lot of places to download Net Odin. For the factory firmware you can also get it from the other site (gsm-files).
I want to reiterate though that those files are useless in removing activation lock unless we have the ADB commands the unlockers use - as mentioned in the missing step 10 of the tutorial.

They do it exactly the way I outlined in the tutorial / step-by-step, that is the only way any of them that offer paid services do it.
Again, the only way we are able to do it ourselves, is if someone fills in the missing ADB commands for us that these unlockers keep hidden when they are connected via Teamviewer.
The files will not help you without this information above, there is no bypass without those ADB commands to remove the reactivation lock from a Samsung Tizen device.

I understand but dis you download a factory diagnostic firmware ? I want to try
so I might be doing the youtube activation removal process for the gear fit 2 that I found on my bike ride. so far I've read prices ranging form $30-$45. Does anyone know what's the lowest price paid for this "service"?
second. I'm not totally clear on how the process works but I assume that someone remotely connects to my machine, with the watch connected, and runs some unknown adb commands on my system. This leads me to my second question. If I pay for this service, is there any way to capture the keystrokes by using some sort of key logger?
If anyone can help me out with finding this information, I'll gladly post the adb commands for anyone to use

The process works exactly how I outlined in my step by step a few posts back.
The missing part are the ADB commands which are hidden valley the use of Echo Off in the command window .
You will need some sort of keylogger or capture that will record even keystrokes in a command prompt window with Echo Off.

I found a few options. I'm not sure how to test to see if any of these will work: https://www.raymond.cc/blog/free-and-simple-keylogger-to-monitor-keystrokes-in-windows/

(ROOT) Removing Uttar Pradesh government (India) privacy invasion and software restrictions in Samsung Galaxy A03

The govt. in my state has been distributing free phones and tablets recently. But there is a catch, it's loaded with work policies. There is an app running 24/7 in background all the time. You cannot change the wallpaper, and they can snoop on your personal data anytime. And it's all because of KNOX!
Note that this guide requires root. It was possible without root but Android 13 has made it nearly impossible to do it to this point that it's easier to root it.
Prerequisites:
- Root access. This guide is to be followed after you reach the welcome screen. In case you didn't and you have set it up, then you'll have to flash stock firmware then flash patched boot.tar again because factory reset is disabled as part of the work policies.
- This guide assumes that you are on the latest firmware.
- Magisk APK and Termux APK already downloaded and stored in USB drive and it's connected or in SD card but not in internal storage.
Guide:If you are connected to the internet with mobile data (sim card) then continue. If you aren't then just go 2 steps to the wifi screen in the Android setup, put in your password and then immediately press the back button. If you wait then it will continue automatically. You only need to be connected if you didn't download the APKs before. If you did then it's not required to be connected to the internet!
1. At the welcome screen tap on "accessibility".
2. Toggle "Assistant menu".
3. Tap on the menu.
4. Swipe until you find the "menu settings" option and tap on it.
5. Keep pressing the back arrow on the top left until the main accessibility window shows up.
6. Tap on "recommended for you".
7. Tap on "go to modes and routines".
- If you downloaded the APKs as stated beforehand:
8. Create a new routine, set it to execute manually and select the files app.
9. Execute it and the files app will open, allow it to access files.
10. Tap on SD card and install Magisk APK first and then Termux APK and then open Termux when it prompts so.
- If you didn't do so:
11. Create a new routine and do the same as before but set it to open chrome.
12. Go to https://hyperio546.github.io/knox-bypass-samsung/.
13. Click on Termux and download the APK.
14. Click on Magisk and download the APK.
(If you are worried about the safety then check the markdown source, it's linked to their original GitHub repos.)
15. Install in the same order as specified in rule no. 10.
16. Open Termux and type
Code:
su
17. Grant it superuser access from the popup.
18. Type this command and press enter
Code:
pm uninstall -k –user 0 com.sec.enterprise.knox.cloudmdm.smdms
19. Type exit, and then type exit again.
20. Keep pressing back button in the bottom left until it gets to "Welcome!" again.
21. Setup your device like normal.
22. You have *your* device back!
Optional:
If you want to remove the assistant menu then just repeat step 4 and then toggle it off.
Thank You so Much for this Guide
