Samsung DLNA - Tizen Software Development

Hi. At the beginning I have to admit that I am from Slovakia and I help myself with google translators. I have a problem with DLNA I have a Samsung UE43RU7472UXXH with OS Tizen, TP Link Archer C2 AC750 and HDD WD Blue 500GB. I share movies from the HDD via wifi and receive them on 2 TVs (not at the same time). Philips TV (Saphi OS) plays without problems, but the movie cannot be played on Samsung TV. The movie is played from the HDD, but not via DLNA. I tried firmware update, factory settings, reset, disconnection from the electrical network, so I narrowed it down to a problem with the TV. Does anyone have a similar experience with Samsung TV? Well thank you.

Did you have any success with your router's DLNA and connecting to your Samsung TV? Have you tried this router (or another) as a Samba (SMB) server?

Not. I turned off DLNA and I'm using an external drive via USB. Without a NAS, it's useless.

[Q] netflix - phone to tv question

i just set up a netflix account. i'm wondering how i can get movies on my phone and have them play on my tv? is this possible??? i plug it into the usb port on my tv and it doesn't show up. tried it into my bluray player also, still didn't show. switched the usb to disk mode, still nothing. any help would be great. thanks!
nevermind, just realized the usb isn't actually any kind of video output so its not possible unless i have a wifi gaming console or something. close thread if need be... thanks.
check the applications on your blu-ray player, it's possible that the unit itself can access your neftlix instant queue
As ricky states some blu-ray players have in there menu netflix installed. If the blu-ray player has built in wifi adapter connect to your wireless router and you are ready to go. If the player is wifi ready but no adapter you can get ethernet wireless adapter and use your PC to configure to connect to your router. Then plug into USB port on blu-ray player and you can stream Netflix with the player menu by selecting Netflix. Most of the newer blu-ray players have this capability.

Samsung AllShare?
I have that installed on my main PC, and can happily stream stuff from my PC to my Samsung HDTV. PS3 also picks up AllShare on the PC as a MediServer.
All three have wired connections to the router, and the phone connects wirelessly.
This reply is probably way too late, and not that helpful. Sorry!

[Q] Streaming Video from Nas router to Tab.

Hi.
I have a router that has a usb port with which I have a External usb2 hard drive.
The router has NAS capability and I can stream video to my TV/PS3.
I can use the all share app on the tab and watch video but it wont allow me to fast forward/rewind or start the video in another place apart from the beginning.
I just wondered if anyone could recommend an app for the tab which allows fast forwarding etc.
Many thanks.
Have you tried skifta?
I use Vplayer.

[Q] android tablet as a dlna server for nas

Hi all,
I have a network drive with my media library attached to the router (belkin 600 play). Also I have Xperia z tablet and dlna enabled Samsung TV. Router is not a dlna media server.
I need a player for android that can
1)see not just servers but all shares of the local network. (bs player can do this the way I would like to)
2) play all formats is "a must"
3) cast playback to TV (as a dlna server)
So as for now there are tons of players with different combinations of these features, but none combine them all. I wonder if bsplayer pro can play to TV, but not ready to pay 7$ to get Answer))))
Thanks

Cast MKV with subtitles and DVD files from network share

Hi guys,
Previously I'd all my videos on my Macbook and I was using Videostream to cast everything to my Chromecast (with the Videostream app on my Android phone as remote), that was working fine but didn't work with DVD files and my Macbook had to be on when I'd like to watch something.
Yesterday I came across a old 400GB SATA harddisk of mine so I thought: what if I connect that drive to my TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND router which does have a USB port and build-in network share and dnla/upnp support. So I've connected everything with a cheap sata/usb adapter from Ebay, connected the network share to my Macbook and PC and copied some videos to it.
I can't run any applications on my router like Videostream or Plex so I need a app on my Android phone which can stream from my network share to my Chromecast. I've searched around and tried Allcast and Localcast:
- Allcast, I can't find a way to access the network share.
- Localcast, works great through samba and dnla/upnp! But... I can't get subtitles working which are builtin my mkv video files. I didn't try dvd files yet.
Also I'm looking for a functionality which can keep track on what movies I've watched.
Any tips?
Thanks in advance!
try airflow app
Airflow is only for music...
Don't tested with Chromecast, but Bubbleupnp is a nice streaming app. Give it a try.
BubbleUpnp
