IMEI2 Cert Install Huawei Y9 (STK-LX3) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, good evening
I wouldnt be starting this contact form, but honestly im out of ideas :'(.
I currently have a Huawei Y9 (Model STK-LX3 using Hilisilicom 710F) sold by phone carrier as Single SIM, as well it only shows 1 IMEI number after dialing *#06#. Heres my problem, the phone does have a sim tray that accepts both nano SIM/SD Card or Dual Nano SIM mode, unlocked for all networks. After insterting both SIMs, phone still reads only 1 since it only shows 1 IMEI (as well SIM Manager does not show in mobile network settings).
Instructions on the box itself says that is DUAL sim, an its sold as single sim in Central America.
I thought that it was a firmware issue and reinstalled another one, based on my location i use C605 in build number, ive tried unlocking bootloader with DC Unlocker, HCU Client and HUawei Multi tool, but all throws an error for security patch not supported.
Someone already told that its a certificate missing that activates sim reader on the slot 2 for the second SIM. But problem is that theres little or no information on how and what is the type used for my model. since you are in the firmware/cert business I wonder if you can please help me out on this I would really apprpeciate if you can help me just on pointing out what would be the certificate missing on my phone and the rest I can figure it out myself, but please im clueless on what cert type is needed.
PD: i will be trying sigmakey on testpoint to try to make this happen. I just need your guidance on the certtype needed.

[q] tg01 blocked sim

Hello everyone, Happy Monday
I have a TOSHIBA TG01 original service provider Telefonica Movistar Spain.
Windows 6.5 OS
I am currently living in Greece and tried to use a WIND GREECE sim card.
At first my phone asked for my PIN, then afterwords asked for a network unlock code. I made the mistake of guessing the code a couple of times.
I finally purchased a network unlock code, but the phone dose not give me the option to enter this code anymore after entering my PIN.
The Home Screen Displays: BLOCKED SIM
If I click on the network icon it asks my for NETWORK PUK, ( I DONT KNOW THIS CODE) what is this? I cant find information about this ether.
I tried to find several ways to get back the option to re-enter the code using the information I can find on internet and forums, but can not find a solution.
It seems other phones give the option at some point using Dialing Pad Codes, or thru some settings... but I cant find a list of Dialing Pad Codes specifically for Toshiba TG01 or any Toshiba phones.
Is there any simple solution to this problem?
Steps I have tried.
1. Hard reset and soft rest... No success.
2. Hard reset and soft rest with sim card... No success.
3. Entering unlock code in Network PUK screen... No success.
4. Entering unlock code in a 0 reception area... No success.
5. Tried several different sim cards... No success.
This seems to be a internal block on the phone, is there anyway to reset this?
personal discovery
1. I used Total Commander to explore my phone.
2. I downloaded identical SimLock files from this site from another person that had a unlocked Tg01 Movistar Spain.
3. Swapped the ones i had on my phone.
4. Realized the phone was unlocked, but was running really really slow.
5. I hardreset my phone, because it wasn't worth it and went back to my normal Blocked Sim state.
This to me means somewhere in those files was the key to my counter reset problem, since the phone didnt ask for anymore Network PUK code.
If someone could enlighten me as to what actually happened?

xt910 locked up

Hi all,
I have a strange problem with my phone. Hope someone will be able to help me.
I was not sure if my phone is unlocked when I came on holiday. Bought and put a different provider sim card and there was no signal. Also showed nothing to type unlocking code, so I thought that maybe something with a new sim card is wrong.
I bought a second card from another provider to be sure. On the screen appeared: enter sim network unlock code or something like that. ok so I have to unlock.
Now the strangest thing. when I put back my old sim card (o2), on the screen appeared again: enter sim network unlock code!
Since then I can not use the phone because it still asks for the unlock code.
I tried to change the soft but still do not have signal and no longer asks for the unlock code. anyone know how to force a window to enter the code?
I tried unlocking code from a cellunlocker but not working and and when i switched on my mobile is showing invalid SIM card.
someone has any ideas of what i can do with it?
sry for my english

[Q] Unlock Metro PCS SIM lock for Saumsung Galaxy Mega SGH-M819N

Hello all,
It has been awhile since I've been on here. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section (this forum has changed so much over the years).
Anyways, I am currently a T-Mo customer and just got a Metro PCS Samsung Galaxy SGH-M819N because I thought I could simply flash a rom that would allow me to use T-Mobile sim card. However, it turns out that it may not be that simple.
Can someone advise whether or not I am able to unlock the sim (without paying it through sites such cellunlocker.net) via flash? If so, would you be kind to direct me to the site or page which gives directions?
Thanks,
eastbay80
oK, i paid
4update:
I am ended buying an unlock code via eBay for $14.99. I enter the code and the phone no longer asks for SIM unlock code BUT now it does not register with any carriers.
i inserted my t-mo sim card into the phone, go to settings, and tried to automatically and manually connect to the tmobile network but keep getting the "unable to connect at this time. try again later" message.
i contacted tmobile via chat and provided imei number and sim card number but was still unable to connect.
i flash backed to stock firmware 4.4.4 and still no luck.
i checked my "device info" and under "phone status" it shows my phone number assigned to the sim card but not connecting to service provider.
Any ideas anyone? Please help.

How to get to "Enter Unlock Code" screen, when running Lollipop 5.1?

Hi all,
I have a Huawei Mate 2 from Freedom (Wind) Mobile. I have updated it to Lollipop 5.1 by unlocking the bootloader. In fact I made a guide for it a while back.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-mate2/general/guide-step-step-wind-mobile-canada-t3387490
Recently in Canada the cellular service providers are forced by law to give us an unlock code for free. After unlocking the phone would work with any service provider. This phone has a pretty big battery and would be ideal for a travel or backup phone.
I successfully got an unlock code from Freedom (which was pretty easy). I then put in sim cards from another provider (Koodo, Fido, etc). However the screen for me to enter the unlock code never popped up. It just say "no service".
I tried to manually set it up, by clicking the notification. "No Service: Selected network (Telus 3G) unavailable". However it won't register. Neither did the unlock code entering screen ever pop up.
And under data settings it say no SIM card. However the phone works perfectly when I insert my Freedom SIM card. But when a foreign SIM card was inserted it just say no SIM.
My question is has anyone been able to unlock this phone under Lollipop 5.1? How did you get to the "Enter Unlock Code" screen?
I also wonder if anyone has any luck unlocking with the original Android 4.3. If someone did, maybe I should flash the phone back to its original OS.
Thanks in advance!

Y6 Pro 2017 Dual SIM (SLA-TL10)

I hope someone can please help me with this, I've been given a Huawei phone to see if I can fix it. I'm completely new to Huawei phones, and this seems to be a particularly obscure model. In the about section in the settings menu, it's described as Huawei Y6 Pro 2017. It's a dual sim model, and the model number is SLA-TL10. Build number is SLA-TL10C636B140
When I google search for Huawei SLA-TL10, I find a completely different phone, and when I search for Y6 Pro, I find completely different model numbers.
It definitely has UK, or at least European, firmware, it has a full set of google apps including the play store.
Most of the time it won't connect to a mobile network with either SIM slot. Sometimes it does, but only when there's a 2G network available. For instance it will connect to EE with a E signal, it will detect a giffgaff (O2) signal but won't get a data connection, and it doesn't detect 3 network at all.
I can't find enough out about this phone to establish if this is likely to be a firmware problem, or if I should skip straight to opening the thing up and seeing if one of the antennae isn't connected properly.
It doesn't look like the IMEI has become corrupt, it returns the correct IMEI numbers for both SIM slots. The baseband version does look a bit strange though, it just says 00006,00006 I'm not sure if that's normal?
Is it possible to do something similar to what I would do with a Samsung phone, where I would flash the baseband/modem file with odin? If so, how would I find the baseband file, and what would I use to flash it?
Thanks.
edit: I've been told now that it was bought in Hong Kong, so I guess the firmware is international English? It defaults to English when I factory reset it.
