[Q] Debrand Orange UK Mozart

Hi all, i've got an Orange Branded Mozart infront of me but i am wanting to flash it to HTC Europe software, i have been looking around the forum for some time now and cannot find anything that could be of use, with the exception of the Gold Card method. Can anyone point me to any information or a guide that could be of help to me.
Thanks
Sam

go here=> http://mozart.unlock-now.com/sim-unlock-HTC-7-Mozart/
it works well
Close but no.. i have already SIM unlocked the device but i am a vodafone uk customer and want generic brading on the device .
goldcard and developer y cable is what you need.
any idea where can I buy these cable ? I'm not too good at wiring, and don't have any spare cable to make it, so might as well buy a pre-made cable

Go there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952988
we have the special cable and firmare to debrand HTC mozart, we have debranded 7 handsets already inhouse and are very happy with the results.
google us "mod edit: spamming " or check utube as we posted demo video lastnight
So for sim unlock htc mozart i can:
1 buy an unlock code from internet (where?)
2 or buy a cable and sim unlock it?
i'm confused....

Nope, you can buy an unlock code (or try and get one from the network) to allow any sim card to be used in the phone.
You can also debrand a phone and install manufacture software on the device instead of carrier branded software with the cable.
I have another solution for you. Follow the steps below.
1. Download the version of branded rom that is currently on your phone (Search the forum).
2. Download the latest version of unbranded rom you want to install.
3. Extract both the roms in separate folders using any zip software (I have used 7zip).
4. Copy the RUU_signed.nbh from the unbranded rom to the branded rom (or maybe SPL_signed.nbh too. I have copied only RUU_signed.nbh).
5. Boot your phone in the bootloader (By press and hold Down Volume Key + Power Button).
6. Run the RomUpdateUtility.exe file.
7. Next, next and next
8. Wait for the update to be finished.
9. You have an unbranded phone

Nope, nothing extra, just the normal USB cable supplied with Mozart and the method as described above.

i first flashed the latest orange rom in this forum using the usb cable it comes with in the box and did the startup setup, then deleted the ruu.nbh from the orange rom folder then put in the ruu.nbh from the europe 1.28 rom to the orange rom folder.put my fon in booloader then flashed the orange rom folder using the normal usb cable it comes with in the box.it unbranded it i think because there is no orange staff at all.connected it to zune and prompted me to update fon which i presume is the preparation of the NoDo update.so i take it i dont need the y cable (goldcard)since it debranded right?

Pre-unlocked Bootloader?!

Hello!
I bought a new Redmi Note 4 global version (SD) with MUII 9 preinstalled and just recognized the bootloader is pre-unlocked!
Box was covered with plastic and near the S/N i can see the date 03.2018.
How could this be? Are there any disadvantages for me?
Its brand new...weird isnt it ?! Or is the global version always unlocked?
2cnd Question:
Is there a easy way to root it? I updated the device to last MUI 9.5.8
Thanks!
Regards

It's not supposed to be unlocked. You probably bought it from some unofficial reseller which accessed the phone to change firmware.
Plastic on box doesn't mean anything, they can put it on easily.

I bought it directly from Amazon.de (no marketplace or 3rd party seller)
The Xiaomi product verification homepage tells me - everything is ok.
lucky me?

With a motherboard replacement, is it possible to turn a H820 into a H850 ?

Hello,
I live abroad US (I live in Switzerland) and I'm stuck with an H820 (the infamous AT&T)
The phone is working fine, but my carrier is not AT&T, so I don't get the updates (oreo for instance or the security patches for nougat).
To be up to date with software and particularly with security patches as delivered in LineageOS or any other OS than the stock one, I thought of replacing the original motherboard with a H850.
Am I dreaming (raving ?) or is this possible ?
Will I then be able to unlock the bootloader as if my phone was a genuine H850 ?
Does anyone know if such a replacement works ?
Is there something else to replace ?
Will I get a new IMEI for instance ?

Good news ... Where did you buy the motherboard ? On Aliexpress ?
And did you have to change the usb connector ? (I ask you this because a seller on Aliexpress told me : If you change the motherboard from h820 t0 h850, you have to change the usb connector as well ... so I finally did nothing because I was not sure ...)
Thanks for letting everybody know ...
