Question Software Update not working - Moto G Power (2021)

Hello,
I have tried doing a software update while rooted, i did all the steps listed here but it says
"Software verification failed, software package not available"
Is there a way to fix this

try this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flash-retus-android-11-now-that-its-available-12-10-2021.4354861/ with the latest version. wiping user data is not necessary, but recommended. also repatch boot.img with magisk.

Worked! Thank you so much

Market not allowing successful downloads or updates

Hi
I successfully completed unlocking, installing CWM, rooting and Ken's 4.5.91 GB along with the updated radio. Only issue I am having so far is when I go to the market to update or download any apps it starts the download and then tells me download was unsuccessful and stops. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or what I can do to possibly fix it? I tried rebooting phone and toggling the unknown sources check box but still having issues. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
I had the same problem.
The easiest fix to it is boot in to Android Recovery and do a wipe of data/factory
It worked!!
Thanks it worked

security update

So i have the sprint 32 GB version and keep getting offered a security software update.
Since I have cwm installed when I try and install the update it takes me to cwm recovery.
Cwm recovery will not accept the signature and aborts installation
Anyone know what the update even does ?
Any way I can install the update without unrooting ?
Thanks

Help: "ERROR - Update Failed"

Hello how are you ? Well, as everyone here I am another who needs help. I have a Xperia Z2 and today I finally managed to make the ROOT (yeah!) Only that my happiness was short-lived, because of a stupid my ...
After having the procedure done and all settled cute I saw that had a android update message to 5.1.1 (since to root I installed 5.0.4) then went all happy thinking that would get being a super user and with the updated device falls into the mistake of installing. At the time of restart phone me the message: "ERROR - Update Failed", and has no way to do anything. I've tried various methods but none worked. "Now Joseph," what do I do? haha
Please respond with the correct English because I am Brazilian and I use the Google translator to understand what they say.

First you need to remove root and make sure all root files from your /system are gone.
Root prevent the phone from doing OTA updates because you have modified your system.
If you can't update OTA try flashing using flashtool it will remove root obviously because it's a newer Frimware.
For your information 5.1.1 root isn't the same way as 5.0.2.
Quick tip if you want to keep your root access try installing a recovery and busybox and make a pre rooted Frimware and flash it in the recovery.
I hope this was helpful.

Thank you for wanting to help, but have tried for FlashTool, PRF Creator and various manual methods in the mobile itself. Here's a video of how it is: "Z3 COMPACT AFTER ROOTING"
However, recalling that mine is the Z2. I found this video on youtube and that's exactly how is my mobile, but I can not post links forum.
If it's this https://youtu.be/VPrJthvqKfE
Flashtool will fix your issue. Install the drivers and flash a ftf file to fix the system partition.

1.Download a pre-rooted firmware 5.1.1 (flashable zip)
2.Boot into Recovery (TWRP Recommend)
3.Install - Choose ROM direction - flash the ROM zip and wipe cache\dalvik cache
(don't worry this won't wipe your data)
# I highly recommend you to do a factory reset after flashing because if you didn't the phone will be laggy and battery will drain extremely fast
*And If you have xposed installed don't forget to remove it because it may causes problems
If I Helped, Leave A Thanks ?

Unable to update latest oxygen OS OTA

It downloads, reboots and tries to install the latest Oxygen update but fails and asks for a reboot.
At one point I installed Kingroot but removed it afterwards. My phone is also encrypted if that matters.
Thanks
having the same problem with my gf's phone...... was a 1003 model if i remember correct.... recovery just had an "Update Failed" and nothing else.... even flashing the full package failed........ i'm considering installing TWRP and going from there but i'd like to avoid that if possible

No recovery?

I think I f-ed up. I wanted to do a clean firmware install, so downloaded and installed the full OTA package from Firmware Finder for my current FW (C636 119).
The phone installed and boots/reboots/works fine. But when I try to get into recovery mode, I get an error message: installation failed.
Any idea what I can do? Will this affect future OTA updates?
