Android 12: Popup-Folder Customization gone with Home Up - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

Yesterday I got the Android 12 update for my Galaxy Tab S7.
I'm using the 'Good Lock' module 'Home Up' to customize a little here and there, and I noticed that I don't have the option to customize the folders anymore.
I'm using the latest 'Good Lock' for Android 12 (OneUI 4) and the latest 'Home Up' module. The "Folder" menu is simply not there anymore, but I've seen some reviews on OneUI 4 which still included this option.
Could anyone please verify that the option is definately gone on the Galaxy Tab S7 with Anroid 12?
Thanks!

You knew the upgrade was dangerous when you loaded it...
Samsung will likely correct with an update, eventually... if doable.
Rule #1 if an OS is fast, stable and fulfilling its mission, let it be!!!

Thanks for pointing out. Altough I wasn't aware that this update might be in any form 'dangerous', at least Samsung didn't warn me. I've been around since Android 2, so I guess I might take the risk.
Not updating is more dangerous in the end when you are starting to miss out relevant security updates.
But what I'd really like to know, and what was the reason for my post:
Is the "Folder" option in Home Up really gone for the Galaxy Tab, or is it just on my device?

If you don't do stupid things most times in real life all those security updates aren't needed. Just works out like that... a lot of hype and scare tactics are being used to herd the sheep.
I'm running on Pie on my N10+ which was last updated 2 years ago. The current OS load will be 2 yo in June, still fast, stable and clean with minimal maintenance.
I don't think it's your device. However after a major OS upgrade you should always do a factory reset.
At the very least clear the system cache.
That may fix it... unless it's a Samsung glitch which Samsung is known to do.
This happens all the time with Good lock.

I am having the same issue with the "Home Up" APP here. The Home Up App in Samsung Good Lock runs well on my Note 20 Ultra, with the option of "Pop-up folder" for me to switch it on or off.
However, for my tab s7, the folder option simply disappears! I really don't like the pop-up folders and I am looking for ways to change it back into the previous pattern of how the folders were opened up..

I have the same issue. It's not an Android 12 issue. The Good Lock apps have always lagged behind new OS updates. Samsung will probably fix it. It may take a while.
I use Microsoft Launcher though, so it isn't an issue for me.
As for the comments about OS updates being dangerous. That's a bunch of BS. This isn't 2012.

Sarcasm. While they may not be dangerous they can still trash your phone in 2022.
You can upgrade at any time... let Mikey try it first

My first Android phone was the Samsung Fascinate which ran Eclair.

Lollipop did, on AT&T phones upgrades can intentionally trash them. Or if the update goes bad, corrupted, hard bricked. There are plenty of things to go wrong just like life... and they do.
As it is I will not go past Android 9 or 10 on my 2 N10+'s. No compelling reasons to and no desire to waste time finding work arounds for new bugs.
Android 12 looks like a bad Apple dream
Enjoy its cpu cycle wasting scoped storage... yeah it does that too.

Why is there always someone who hijacks a thread while contributing absolutely nothing to the intital thread?

Because they think they know more and really don't.

I9300XXUGMJ9 ROM, Is it official for real or just a leaked compilation?

Based on a reply post in SamMobile regarding the official rollout for Galaxy S3 I9300 I9300XXUGMJ9 4.3, I'm reposting the reply quoted here since I have exact experience for what they wrote:
This can’t be an official 4.3 update, this is the exact same Vodafone Germany leak that SamMobile released 2 days ago, and this is obviously unfinished and unpolished.
For instance:
1. The lockscreen has many bugs and does not look and/or feel finished, here are some things I’ve noticed that bring me to this conclusion:
a. 4.3 does not have shortcut icons and does not give any way to activate them, yet 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 leak did.
b. Light effect is not working, it’s the same as if I selected “None”, yet the 4.2.2 leak had the Light effect working.
c. The Ripple effect is also the exact same one from 4.1.2, the 4.2.2 had an updated Ripple effect.
2. The amount of battery consumption is brutal compared to even the 4.2.2 leak which provided me over 24 hours of use, this one gets me 10 hours tops.
3. Memory management is also too high which tells me this is not finished software.
4. Calls drop for no reason even with full signal.
5. The phone becomes irresponsive at times, in fact, it got so bad for me today (about 40 secs without waking up) that I had to pull the battery.
6. The phone takes way too long to wake up from deep sleep and prompt to unlock… This must be linked to the 5th point.
7. The Touchwiz launcher, camera UI, S Planner (4.2.2 leak had a new S Planner), S Memo, Weather widget, 4×2 dual clock widget (4.2.2 leak had the new look with new fonts) are the same from 4.1.2. Let’s face it, these are just apps, all but the camera app had mere facelifts, it’s not like they will increase the RAM usage to levels that only phones with 2GB of RAM will handle… I’m pretty sure this is a test build that was missing memory management optimizations and could not add these apps before getting that solved.
8. KNOX is not present in this ROM, and though I don’t want it or miss it, this makes me believe that this is still unfinished.
This is what I’ve spotted, and with what I’ve learned from flashing ROMs and rooting, this is definitely not finished software, and I doubt that a corporation such as Samsung will half-ass such an important update for the 2nd best selling device, especially when this is supposed to add GALAXY Gear compatibility.

I'd like to add the following notes:
1- I agree 100% with the quote above and I face exact issues and I have exact notes.
2- The I9300XXUGMJ9 leaked Vodafone Germany has exact file size of what's claimed to be VD (Vodafone) Ireland and Swisscom (Switzerland) official releases. Without need to download the official roms, it's obvious that exact file size refers what's in the package.
3- I never noticed any of the carrier users they got what's shared online for such uncertain releases
4- Most of shared snapshots for the *official* releases are the same for the leak.
Would we share experience regarding this matter with confirmations or negations for what we think?

I agree with you hands down. The 4.3 update hardly can be called as an "update". It has many bugs and it's pretty unstable. I would like to see the whole UI and at least half apps, settings from S4 ported on the S3.
If this was true... Then how did Samsung release the sources?

Any confirmation from users of claimed carriers got that is shared everywhere as "official"?
Sources come after release only, so it has no choice other than being official.
This is as official as it gets. This is the first official 4.3 build, it's bound to have some bugs. You can seriously not expect a 100% bug-free OS upgrade. That is stupid.
What you also need to see is that this update provides Galaxy Gear support, it makes a lot of sense to release the update before Christmas to try to boost Gear sales, They could have also decided to remove things like the light effect, only people who flash leaks know that this was working on the S3, not your average user, the same with the newer ripple effect. They could have also decided to remove the shortcuts for some reason.
2. We have not had enough time for a battery consumption test, battery drain is always higher initially whilst it syncs a lot of data and scans for media.
3. Stock memory management has always been terrible, I have not seen anything more than a normal stock update.
4. I have never seen calls drop out.
5. The only time I have seen it take a while to respond is waking up (most of 5 secs) as we all know about (could be down to a rushed update to sell more Gear)
6. See point 5.
7. When did Samsung say "The 4.3 update will give the S4 apps"? never, they just said we would get them sometime.
8. Again when did Samsung announce 4.3 would bring Knox? Never.
The poster from Sammobile hardly knows what he is talking about, he takes rumors as confirmed facts.

+1 thumbsup for these ! and for those who need s4 there are some custom roms that u feel s4 look ! and just be contented what u have !!!
RUNNING OS: 4.3
CUSTOM ROM: S4 revolution v8.0
ROOTED
The only source release is the kernel, isn't it? the kernel could be ready but not the rest.. i doubt that also but..
I want to believe this is not an final official release and there are some things that make me thing i'm right.
- The CSC is the same in Ireland than it is in Germany..
- The Ireland official version brings some german apps that are installed after the first install / first time running android...
- Try playing MP3 on Google Music Player while the screen is off (Partial Wakelock).. IT STUTTERS AFTER A WHILE !
- There are options that are on the menu but they don't work.. Try setting the light effect on lock screen.. The option is there but nothing happens when you set it on..
- The battery consuption is really high. I've been on my 3rd battery cycle after flashing and configuring and it is wasting 10% per hour!!! Almost 10 hours only with just wifi on and wifi sync on but used lighty.
- 4.2.2 leak was way more functional and stablet than this and it had options that now are missing. That makes no sense.
Do you really believe an official irish version would bring german apps? Do you really believe that samsung would release an update to its best selling phone ever that don't even plays MP3 without stutters? I don't
I'm willing to bet that there was some kind of mistake or someone played a "prank" on Samsung.
This is not an official last version for the best selling android phone ever... iTS not!

Uh? The kernel source is the ONLY source that leaves Samsung. The only workable source, that is.
Maybe they released the source so someone else can fix this turd of a ROM
it's not Irish
I don't know if it's an official release, it doesn't look like it is. For me the screen doesn't lock at all.
But I'm pretty sure it isn't Irish at all. All the Vodafone bloat wars is from Germany and not even Samsung or Vodafone for that matter, is going to release such thing.
Like I said, of you want to believe that it is official, do so. But that it it's not Irish is a fact.

You see companies rushing things for Christmas a lot, not just Samsung, they have a once a year opportunity to potentially sell millions of Gears in a very short time, so why wouldn't they rush it?
Also I am no fanboy, I will not be buying Sammy again, I just see what they have done here.

[Q] i9305 4.3 to 4.4? Is it possible?

Is it possible to update to CM11 nightly (or any other 4.4 roms... I'm not familiar with the scene) from 4.3 stock?
I did install KNOX, and then removed it. And then the Samsung service reflashed the rom again. So I don't know about it anymore. Didn't install it since then.
My story:
As many of you already did, I also installed the new update. Read below if you are interested (but you probably know all this anyway.)
So. A few days ago Google+ started to eat up my battery. I disabled it in the Application Manager and did not have the updates installed either. But it just started. My usual battery life dropped to only a couple of hours at max.
So I fired up Google and it said I have to install the updates. So I did.
Nothing changed. Then I went into Google+, signed in, and then signed out.
Nothing changed.
So all in all, I have a piece of crappy brick that I can't use anymore.
Bit of a rant: You gotta love this. You buy an overpriced product and they f... you over a thousand times. App makers, Samsung (4.3 crapdate), and EVEN Google. Then why the hell would I even want Android ever again? Seriously. If I would have to buy a phone now, I would pick an iPhone, no matter how much it costs more. This is just unjustifiable. "Hey customer, thanks for buying our product. Now let us make it all crap." ... WHY?
So yeah. Now I have no choice but to lose warranty (which I already used a few times because this is REALLY a crap quality phone). Not that HTC One X was any better, it had a faulty GPU/motherboard like 4 times. (Thanks Nvidia!) ... Sorry guys, I'm just infuriated.
Wish I could just change the phone down. I was thinking about Sony, but if Google can buttrape you anytime, why bother? No guarantee I can just fix it on Sony either.
CM10 is also fine
As I read the nightly can disable all GSM related operations (call/sms), so CM10 is also fine.
I just want to fix my battery life and have a stable phone again.

you should download your firmware from here
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-I9305&pcode=0#firmware
wipe everything then go into download mode
Use Odin http://www.android.gs/download-odin-3-07/
and after you flash this, do a factory reset within the phone or through its recovery
I just did this with my wife's 9305 and its running like a champ

Thanks for the quick reply.
As I said my phone runs the 4.3 firmware now without any issue.
Except the 4.3 slow encryption and the huge battery drain. The phone got reset like 3-5 times in the past few weeks too.
So now I wonder if I can just install CM10 from 4.3.
But I need some confirmation as I know you cannot downgrade 4.3 for example. (Due to KNOX or whatever.)
Yeah should be no problem. My wife's battery drain happened too. I found the problem was with the SD card. I formatted it with the phone and it seems to be as good as it was on 4.12

Look you can go from any version of cm back to stock. CM doesn't change your boot loader or your modem. The only time your stuck on a version of android is when it comes to stock. Like as a note 3 users we are stuck on KitKat because they updated our bootlaoder. Cm based Roms it doesn't matter.
And you should get an SD card to hold your back ups just in case.
Also if someone helps you on xda it's kind of nice to hit the thanks button. It allow others to see that their comment was useful.
Good luck.
BTW if your new to rooted and ROM installing I suggest reading through the Dev section for the i9305.
Also google your issue word for word and there are tons of android forums out there which may help you.
A lot of times if you open a thread that has been answered a lot they will ignore it or throw words you won't like your way.
So good luck

I know you cannot downgrade from 4.3, nor use Triangle Away (due to KNOX).
Does this affect the move to CM? Or not?

Yeah if I'm not going to get an answer in a few hours I'll give it a go. It's a brick anyway, heh.
Just did my wife's i9305 today. Moving to cm/omni shouldn't be an issue, however be warned you lose a lot of features like HDMI out and the camera doesn't work as well. I just put the galaxy project ROM on there as the i9305 has the extra GB of ram which keeps stock nice and smooth, also you can debloat if the need be. And if you run into camera issues like I did simply flash stock kernel then reflash rom. Honestly unless you prefer KitKat its a waste of the extra ram your device has as most of it simply will never get used.
Also with wanam xposed you can customize everything! Can't do that with an iPhone. Sorry to hear you have had a bad run but while Samsung's software isn't exactly great the hardware is beast and once you learn how to configure it and unlock its full potential you will see you made the right choice.

Thanks for your reply!
- How worse will the camera get?
- What other important features you know? (HDMI does not really matter to me.)
I do use it a lot, so I don't want to lose everything. (Only use simple picture/HDR modes tho.)
Tried again every kind of combination with Google+ and it's still eating my battery like crazy.
I mean... what the hell is the "Disable" for then? It "almost disables" the app or what? lol.

Checking this out for curiosity sake.
---------- Post added at 08:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:44 PM ----------
Well this seems promising but I think a more important question would be when will Huawei start supporting unlocking the bootloader without the hassles of sending emails for the US version?
Thank you, and I wish you well with the beta program, but count me out. THANKS to those that will take the beta challenge, but I will wait for the final release.
Even after release, I'll wait a week or two, to see how it goes. If it appears stable, then I might have a go.
Why the hesitation? Because Huawei did such a great job of tweaking 4.3 to the specs of the mate2, that I have experienced ZERO issues! I can run for weeks without any lock ups, and only reboot it because I feel guilty that I haven't had to do anything to it. I see so many of my friends having this trouble or that trouble with their flagships, with the "latest & greatest" specs, that I just have to snicker that I spent 1/2 of what they did, and I get as much or more bang for the buck than they did.
4.3, on this device is so stable it begs the question for me and my use pattern. If it ain't broke, why fix it? Yes, at some point, there will be an app that I want to use, that will require LL, but, the 83 apps that I have on my device now, run perfectly. I even went so far, to install a few of the same apps on my device, as a coworker did on his Nexus 6, setting the screen brightness to the same levels, then, running the apps side by side. MAYBE there was a split second of difference in opening or running the apps, but, both were smooth, clear and easy to read. Yes, if you ran a benchmark, the N6 would blow the Mate2 out of the water, but, I'm talking about "real world" applications. Is that split second difference worth paying more than 2 times the price? Not for me.
Huawai, you hit one out of the park, and the LL update will be welcome, but, for now, I'm sticking with JB4.3, until the LL update proves to be as stable as JB4.3

Correct, there are quite a few bugs I'm experiencing. Wi-fi not connecting except after 3-4 tries, a few random app crashes and a few but annoying random reboots. Even if it wasn't for these problems, who wouldn't want the latest and greatest Android version on their phones? It's common sense !

I put this list of bugs in an earlier thread (I apologize for repeating):
- Audio cutting out is a pretty common one. This occurred when I first got the phone, then again after a factory reset. Eventually it just stopped happening both times.
- Google Calendar reminder pops up, calendar crashes over and over again until I dismiss the reminder.
- Reboots randomly about once a week.
- Switching from portrait to landscape is slow and inconsistent at best.
- That looping reboot that occurred during a random Amazon update a few months back (that did not affect any other phone). I had to do a factory reset because of that which is a major pain.
- The bugs with Emo (strange text wrapping, delay when closing an app that's in a folder, improperly sized widgets), which is such a hot mess of an Android skin, makes it practically mandatory that you put a new launcher on it.
-Pulling down the notification bar has become an adventure. Sometimes it's fine, other times it comes down and stops halfway and I have to hit the home button an try again.
- Unless it's super bright out, really long shutter lag after the update.
I know the thread was started by a Huawei rep, so hopefully they're working on fixing these bugs along with the update.
Just curious, has anyone having bug issues installed TWRP recovery? I have my HAM2 for 3 months, I am rooted but stock recovery, and I haven't had a single issue with this phone. No lagging, no reboots, no wifi or bluetooth issues. I am wondering if there is something else causing the bugs. Or maybe there are a few bad devices. That being said, I always welcome updates, but I also understand peoples concerns with a new update.

Having the issues I have mentioned above, I am completely stock, never rooted or installed recovery. So phone is untouched. I didn't want to mess with it because I thought it may cause issues receiving future OTA updates

Yeah, the Amazon app problem was really a pain. I ended up uninstalling the app entirely, being fed up with the reboots it was causing. The only thing I have never tried with the phone is a factory reset, wonder if that may help in any way

z3v marshmallow rom help / how to get rid of verizon bloatware

does anyone know or can guide me to any marshmallow rom for the xperia z3v please?
also, how do i get rid of the verizon start up screen and the bloatware?
I second this... sort of irritated that there doesn't seem to be a simple solution. What about using the regular Z3 ROM? Will it brick the Z3v?
I'm not an expert. But what I did was just used titanium backup to uninstall my sys-apps. I always froze the app first to see if it would crash anything (Other than the app's own error message). If it didn't I uninstalled it. I really good resource is to check out a thread describing all the sony bloat, over on the z3 forums. Another harder, but sure fire way is to install the old AMAZING rom on an earlier marshmallow version by Zachpope (I may be wrong on that name drop there) that rom was amazing. All the bloat was gone and the build prop was superb. I'd still be on it, but some of my networking stuff didn't work. Anyways, install that, check out what is and isn't installed, then revert back to your original build and get rid of what Zachpope got rid of.

There isn't, really. There was beta access to marshmallow and they shut it down. I was too late to sign up for it. Stupid that they released a beta and just dropped it and nothing else ever happened.
well i did check the forum for marshmallow, didn't find anything... for the bloatware, i did the easiest thing, just stopped all the apps i didnt want running... sigh
thanks for replies tho!!
There is no Marshmallow for the Z3v. Verizon dropped this phone already.

Yeah along with it would seem others as well, I got a Blackberry Priv for all the problems I was having with the Z3v, VzW stopped supporting it just after I received mine, 4 months behind in updates and no Marshmallow even though there is a Marshmallow update on all other carriers Priv's. So I gave up on Android for the time being, Android is getting way to unsecured for me right now so I am eating Crow and getting an iPhone 7 Plus. Goodbye Android, Google, the carriers and phone manufactures have killed the joy we once had with Android.
I am a purist, Android is Linux, it should be free and user tweakable, take Root and unlocked bootloaders away and you are worse than iOS.
With my Linux PC I can update the OS anytime I feel like it, security updates are regular. Although Micro$oft tried to lock the BIOS it didn't succeed.
Phones are mini PCs, locking one down does not make it secure, it makes it less secure for the end user can't keep it updated and are dependent upon manufactures and carriers for updates, which those 2 will hold updates and patches hostage so you will upgrade to a new phone as they want you to.
There is a huge security mess brewing and it will come to a head soon.

Is that true? How to install this beta?

Question I unenrolled from the beta program but never got the stable build

hi two nights ago when i found out that the beta program has changed and i'm not ever going to get a stable build i decided to unenroll my p6 from beta program. The issue is i got the update notification immediately like i always have in the past. Except this time the phone never rebooted when i went to apply the update. so after an hour of just letting it sit I tried to power it on and got the splash screen that usually comes up when you try to boot into recovery where you have to select recovery except there was no option for recovery. And even worse there was a message at the bottom of the screen that said there is no operating system installed on this device and gabe a website to go too. my heart jumped into my throat. But i regained composure and powered off the phone and started to prepare to use the android flash tool (unsure if that was even the right step to take) but then i looked at my phone and saw that the erase ring like when you factory reset was there. so i decided not to touch it and let it do its thing. So now my phone did factory reset which i am aware that when you unenroll that is what happens but it did not install the latest stable build. Weird right? So now I am still on s3b1.220218.004 Which if im not mistaken is the newest beata build which i was on before i started. My security update says march 2022 my play system update still says february 1 and when i go to the android beta website it says that my phone is unenrolled in the beta program!!!!
So does anyone know how i get back to the stable channel now? I am lost any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for being an experienced Android tester.
Your post will help people that are not sure what to do incase things go sideways.
I am on stock and from what I have learned is if you install a newer android system. You can not go back. That is why I stayed away from beta testing. Unless things changed that I don't know about, your stuck.
The only thing as a stock user is to try downloading the full factory image and do a flash-all.

Thank you for the answer. I did read that too but I didn't think it would apply in this situation. Oh wait I forgot the p6 hasn't gotten the latest security update yet. So your right I would be going back to February. Well hopefully since I am no longer enrolled in the beta program I will not receive anymore beta builds and either when March stable is released I will get that. And if that's is considered going back then I will have to wait till April thank you for bringing this to light. Man I wish Google would have given more of a heads up. If I knew I would not have installed this latest beta and stayed on beta 3. But I thought I was getting 12L stable. If I stayed on beta 3 and then unenrolled I would not have had a problem.
I am glad this will help others as I have received so much help on xda. In fact I learned everything I know from xda I do not work with computers I am a cook and a shellfish farmer. I see you helping alot of people so thank you for that. Keep up the good work my friend.

One more question. I know it might sound silly but if I'm on the latest beta which is for the next feature drop if I understand correctly then shouldn't this at least have the code for 12L stable in it? Because I don't seem to have any of the latest feature drop stuff. Also oddly enough my wife has the pixel 5a and she is on stable channel and she has all that feature drop stuff plus she also has the newest version of Google's messages app. With the catagories at the top. Shouldn't I have that by now?
Sorry for the weird question.
The March beta build was released on Wednesday so the most likely case is that your phone has "automatic system updates" turned on (default) in developer settings & that the phone had probably already updated your OS in the background (overnight) before you unenrolled. Due to the pending reboot to finish installation of the QPR3 Beta 1 (a newer build than February), it is likely that whatever controls the unenrollment/system update noted that you are on a later build & only wrote the bit to wipe your device upon reboot rather than attempting to downgrade to Feb build, because an newer update was already pending installation.
If your bootloader is unlocked you should be able to flash February build with fastboot, if not you may be able to sideload the full February OTA in recovery mode, or re-enrolling and then unenrolling again should work to go back to a stable build. You absolutely can "downgrade" if coming from a beta, or just manually flashing. (Edit: or with Android recovery tool)
RE: your second question, QPR3 Beta 1 has none of the March builds feature drop stuff in it, yet, which is why you won't have the same features as your wife's 5A.

I'm running QPR3 Beta 1 and it seems like I have at least some of the feature drop stuff, including the new battery widget, Gboard custom stickers, and I believe the expanded stuff in At A Glance.
This build does include the March security update so I would think it would include the feature drop stuff as well.

I should have been a little more specific, sorry for confusion lol.
I got the AAG widget in Beta 3 through a update on the Play Store so I assume that everyone would get this widget even outside of 12L (12.1), and believe that the Gboard stuff is also pushed by a server side update for US English? So those definitely work for most, I think.
I am only going off my experience and things I've heard online from other people though - Snap at night, live translate (of the new languages) and recorders transcription of Italian/Spanish (+assistants quick phrases) don't work for me on the QPR Beta 1. I can't say if Captions in calls work on this build though as I think that's a US only drop.
Google actually dropped the "Feature Drop" part from the Beta page too, so 100% unsure of what the QPR builds will actually entail now.

Yeah, seems like the QPR Beta builds will be mostly updates to the QPRs rather than actually testing any feature drop stuff. Hopefully they'll mix in a bit of those though. I'm actually ok with that as the QPR Betas should include some non-security fixes, so that's at least something to stay ahead of the game a bit.

Ok I am.actually still on the feb 1 Google play system update. Despite getting numerous updates this month each at 761 kb. For some reason I get those updates much much later than everyone else. Even my wife. It's only been with the pixel 6. All my other pixels were fine.

I don't think anyone's getting Play System updates very quickly at the moment - Google pushed February's update out over like 5/6 different parts, from what I can remember - mine only started showing "February 2022" when I manually updated a related system app on the 27th of Feb, so I'd expect March's Play System update to be pushed slowly over the month too.

Yeah I noticed that too. It just happened to start when I switched to Verizon from fi. I thought that maybe I was getting some Verizon parts injected into my phone. I guess it was just coincidence. What app did you update that caused it to change dates?

These apks from ApkMirror, once they were updated to February - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/playstore-update-february.4399625/page-4#post-86493165
No March updates available yet though.
Well hopefully today the stable channel will get it's March update. Then hopefully I will get the ota to move me to stable channel. If not then I am going to try the android flash tool to see if I can get back on stable releases.

So it looks like Google might have released the stable March build. I am at work and haven't had a chance to read anything yet but I just got an update for 451mb and it says it's for the latest stable release of android 12. I just.left my phone on the way it was and didn't re enroll in the beta program. It looks.like it finally caught up for me. It's going to wipe.mymphonenagain so I'll report back after I'm all setup.
Edit: so I just looked on Google website and I do not see the March build yet. I really hope that I'm not going back to February that would not make any sense. I thought you that you can't go backwards with the builds.
so i just went through the whole proccess and it did not put me on the latest stable build im still on the same one. I guess that they did not come out with the march stable update. But the weird thing is it did the same thing it did last time. when i finished the download and restarted my phone the boot menu came up with a message that said no vaild operating system. and i could not boot into recovery or do anything at all. i just let it sit and powered it off waited a minute and powered it back on and it gave the erasing ring. then rebooted. Is that normal now? it has never done that before the last two times
