Question Shutting down while gaming - OnePlus Nord N200 5G

Need a fix for Op N200 5g for T-Mobile it keeps shutting down while I'm playing Nba2k mobile n it's really annoying now. Need a solution asap

In-game, check the settings for anything that will reduce CPU usage. Most mobile games have some options to reduce resource usage for lower end phones.
Other than that... Maybe the new custom kernel will help? I haven't tried it out yet myself (waiting for a 100% working TWRP before I go further than a bootloader unlock)...

It's a good idea to remove the bloatware, but it won't help you with lag. Temperatures get high and the phone automatically lowers the perfomance, because the phone would otherwise have problems with overheating.
May be out of line: but
Seem to conform same reaction. It is my impression that (lag ! Never had overheating) Is caused by proximity of other sensor or fingers to nearby to thé borders of thé screen.

As i already wrote somewhere on the thread. There is a difference between, "my phone is overheating" and "my phone gets hot while playing games, etc...". I have the same lags. You can test the speed of cpu, etc.. while you play games, and you will understand whats the problem. Phone is turning of cores, and underclocks the cpu to prevent overheating. That's why games start to lag after some time playing.

Even ten minutes is enough for a 10 core procesor, with two A72 clocked to 2.0ghz+. I'm not sure about the rom. I tried it on china stable which is much better than global stable except the bloatware, and it's the same. Maybe some optimization for the processor would be good. I had Xperia M4 Aqua, which has SD procesor, and had a lot of heating problems. But there, i could tweak by myself the cpu temp settings, and i would achive better and more perfomance on games with the price of more temperature of course, and yes i'm aware of the temperature affect on cpu life span. On MTK, unfortunately, i couldn't find such a files for tweaking the cpu temp, etc...
I use epic ROM..I don't have lag issues with this...I can play smoother such as asphalt 8 , nova, NBA etc...
I came from many Roms China stable and dev...global dev and stable and I knew how it was. Those stock roms were buggy....

Notice any difference regarding battery life? compared with stock china/global stable ROM.
I have the latest Global Beta and my phone is always stable and doesn't really heat up that much, i just spent like an hour and a half playing fifa mobile, talking via facebook messenger and listening to music on spoyify and everything was just fine !!

There is no difference between China and global regarding battery performance. Both consumed much battery even in deep sleep with at least 2% per hour.
I'm using Redmi Note 4 MTK 4GB+64GB with MIUI 8.2.1.0.
Please do not charge and play Mobile Legends at the same time.
That's based on my experience for the last 3 days using Redmi Note 4 MTK and MIUI 8.2.1.0 and playing Mobile Legends.
Phone will gets hot (too hot in my opinion), and the battery charge won't lasts, ends up it will decrease the battery even though you're charging it.
I'm using 2.1A Samsung charger.
With my S5 Cosmic OS ROM, I still can charge (increase in percentage), while playing Mobile Legends.
What I do is, charge my phone to a desirable level, maybe 80-90% (where the charging tends to get slower), then plug out and play Mobile Legends.
Your phone will get warm, but not hot, and performance would not deteriorated.
hi guyz regarding this problem... MTK chip suck so much it give me nightmare.. so i decided to sell the phone and buy xiomi mi max.. best solution ever..i even buy two mimax... its that good.. thank you all

why mido max cpu frequency mostly less than 2016Mhz

I am currently on xiaomi.eu rom. Through kernel auditor app or any other app whenever i go to cpu section. It shows a min frequency which is always 652Mhz But max cpu frequency is somtimes set to 1843Mhz or sometimes 1958Mhz or sometimes even 1689Mhz. when i try to change max cpu frequency to 2016Mhz it again resets to its previous lower frequency in an insatant which means it dont want to set it to 2016Mhz. I thought it may be throttling down due to cpu temp but device tem is mostly between 37-41•C. Is this a mechanism to save battery or it is only problem with my device. Will it affect my max gaming performance.
please give me a solution.
That's the way the MIUI Kernel keeps the device cool and usable. I can confirm this behaviour. If you use a custom ROM your device will likely overheat when under heavy load because it is not limiting the max frequency resulting in a loss of mobile network @ about 44°C. Unfortunately no custom ROM does the same, that's why I stay on MIUI. And yes, you'd have a better gaming experience but I don't know if this will affect the lifespan of your device because of the heating issue.

thankyou for your reply. But if cpu frequency is lowered how my gaming experience wont be affected i.e. on heavy games.
By the way what is your normal cpu temp most of the time.

No, I am saying that your gaming experience WILL be affected. How much I don't know because there are still factors like GPU clock, network behaviour etc. Network however will be affected, too, as discussed in another thread here on XDA. You are going to have lag after a while. So this device is definitely not designed for the gamers.
Temps are same as you have. On LineageOS I had above 44°C while using Google maps for example. I lost mobile network then until the device had a chance to cool down.

Touch Lag/Sluggish touch response on COD/PUBG

Hey. I have searched extensively for the solution. Can't find it anywhere. So basically I just bought this phone.
Now whenever I am playing CODM or Pubg. The touch delay is huge, I mean if I swipe anywhere it takes half a second to swipe and in a floaty and Sluggish fashion.
This makes aiming almost impossible ?*
Anyone got any solution? I have tried to downgrade OOS to 10.0.3 from 10.0.8 using EDL method. No luck.
I know this is a software issue. So does anyone have any solution?

It's seems you earn a defective device since I found no lag in any games I tried, including COD mobile.
I suggest you open RMA

The game works butter smooth. It's the touch response I have a problem with.
Meaning touch latency is delayed if that makes sense.
I personally don't have any issues but I've read somewhere that setting the graphics to High helps
Have you found a solution ? Im getting the same problem on my one plus 8 pro brand new... playing codm is unplayable, movement is slow and heavy .. touch delay is crazyy .. help :|

I believe OP has low touch refresh rate to 90ghz..where apple 11 and gaming phones has greater than 120ghz which is really important same to samsung highend..OP concentrated on screen refreshment only that is not much useful but also should look into touch refresh rate for gaming and quick touch responses. I fed with OP now
The touch refresh rate of the OnePlus 7T Pro is 1.5x the screen refresh rate meaning it is 135 Hz. That shouldn't be an issue. There are several factors that can play a role in this but I suspect that it comes down to the kernel and poorly implemented drivers. You can try a custom kernel and see if that improves anything. Most custom kernels at least include some kind of upstream and optimisations that can make a huge impact (like Smurf Kernel for me on the OP6 made a huge improvement).
Mine is oneplus8pro not 7

The same applies to the OnePlus 8 pro, though the touch sampling rate is 240 Hz so 2x times the screen refresh rate. I would still try to use a custom kernel to check whether or not it improves the latency issues. Smurf kernel is available for the OP8P which I can recommend. But there are other custom kernels available for each and everyone's liking
As this thread is posted in the OP7TP section I assumed the question was regarding this device. I didn't get that you are talking about the OP8P
This issue common on devices with higher refresh rate, this delay is causing because you could set your screen refresh rate lower than maximum refresh rate (like using 60 fps).
To fix this issue you just need to increase your screen refresh rate to maximum then only your device will use the maximum "touch sample rate".

Question Redmi Note 10 High battery drain even when not using

Hi y'all .
Recently I got a Redmi Note 10 4/64 variant . I'm currently using my old phone Redmi 6A , while Redmi Note 10 just lies in desktops corner.
MIUI 12.0.1 , 5000 MAh and 33W .
I installed one game to try the performance , then cleared all the apps and went to sleep . In the morning , I saw more than %25 battery drained for almost no reason .
•I don't even use the phone
•Bootloader is unlocked
•The phone doesn't have a SIM inside , so it can't get signals would cause battery drain
•The phone doesn't have any apps installed besides stock ones . I only installed one game and two or three local shop apps.
•I always make sure nothing runs in the background(the way I use the phone)
Here is the graph
Edit : I can feel device's little heat even when posting this.
The phone call you see is made by my mom . I did let her borrow my phone one time , except that the phone doesn't have a SIM inside as I mentioned
Same here, Android system draining too much battery

Hi guys ,
As I am using the same phone and same varient(4/64) I can suggest some tips to save your battery.(working for both 4/64 & 6/128).
This measures can be applied in Redmi Note 10/ Pro / Pro Max also.
•You should turn off your Wifi / Mobile data when not in use otherwise apps like analytics play store etc. can run in the background and drain your battery.
•Uninstall the pre-installed apps which can be removed from your phone like Mi credit, Mi store etc. If possible change your keyboard to google keyboard(g board).
•Don't Software update your phone it may consume more memory and also cause to drain your battery faster than before.
•Go to setting search for Authorisation & revocation
And disable the permissions of apps like msa, MiuiDaemon, System apps updater, Get Apps, Updater.
•Then disable the following :
Disable it ↑
• Then open a folder and click on its name and disable promoted apps option.
I think I have covered everything. If anybody wants to add something just reply. I hope you find it helpful, if so please subscribe my youtube channel:
The road to great battery life doesn't require extreme restriction. Here you can see the power consumption results for my phone. I should mention that Wifi and GPS are permanently on. Synchronisation is also permanently enabled for Email, Messenger and Smart Life.
It consumes about 3% of the battery in 8 hours of standby time.
I use the Pixel Experience Plus ROM.
It is important not to use any functions that permanently (even during standby) monitor any of the sensors. Such as preventing waking up in the pocket.
I have disabled all automatic updates.

I've been tuning battery saving on smartphones since Android 2.1
Current hardware doesn't suffer as much from sustained discharge as it used to. Today, it is no longer necessary to turn off Wifi and GPS. But now it is advisable to reduce the CPU power in standby mode, because the manufacturer leaves the power at an increased frequency in the base to improve the phone's response.

so that is kernel and or app issue, your kernel(drivers) could be an overclocked version, causing phone to run hot and affecting the display from running hot for long and damaging the pixels/ liquid used for display
or background apps making your phone run hot and causing same issue
Since you are on xda, i could make assumption that youre using custom rom and or magisk,
if by any chance you are using pixelify or pixelarity from magisk and your phone is medium - medium high end(the phone is running stock and custom framework at the same time causing your phone to run hot (battery drain, cpu and gpu strain)
Your screen seems permanently or long term damaged especially if its a lcd display
if you have somewhat overclocked your device(or its screen) or ran it at high performance for a long time those are possible causes
I need to know ,are you using custom os, magisk , magisk boost modules, custom kernel and how long has the device been used from the first user? Then I can help you further
