Hi Cherishos Developer, I'm Using latest version rom on my oneplus 9R, Very Stable with More customization. But I'm facing one Big issues with the Fingerprint Scanner, It works fine in Lockscreen unlocking but, while using fingerprint unlock for app lock the entire display was flashing while touch a screen not only in (FP Area). While using in dark place in low brightness It was a uncomfortable to use. Otherwise this rom is very stable to use as daily driver.
Overall My Suggestion:
* Need to Re-Calibrate Fingerprint Scanner and Some Bugs
And, I Appreciate the Developer Efforts for Build this Awesome Rom For Oneplus 9R
Thank you Dev

I don't get safetynet pass. That's how I tried:
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. Wipe cache
3. fastboot flash system system.img (this ROM here)
4. fastboot flash ramdisk BKL-L09_ramdisk.img
5. Boot Android
6. fastboot flash ramdisk patched_boot.img
7. Boot Android
8. Install Magisk Manager 5.6.1 -> safetynet fails, Banking apps refuse to start
Any idea?

After you finish flashing the rom
1.Put the Magisk manager and ramdisk boot.img onto the storage of the phone .
2. Install the Magisk Manager.
3. Magisk Manager will prompt you to install the latest Magisk apk which is version 16.
4. Click install and patch boot image.
5. The manager will bring you to the file manager , and you search for the original ramdisk boot IMG. And click on it once.
6 .Wait for the manager to do the patching of boot.img and eventually a patched boot.img is formed .
7. Transfer the patched boot IMG to you ADB file on your computer.
8. Put your phone in fastboot mode and flash it.
9. Reboot and your phone is rooted.
Does the IR blaster now work on the Mate 10 (Pro) ? Apparently there were some issues reported in the previous version.

If you need VoLTE you should use stock EMUI for moment. And yes, all custom ROMs have this issue ... no need to ask on each thread the same question !
When the issue will be fixed, it will be clearly stated in OP - so you don't need to ask every day if VoLTE was fixed or not

It definitely can be, but probably won't happen or at least not right now. We need to port EMUI framework and that requires a lot of work and I think that there are definitely other priorities first

KOSP is a small project based off AOSP and we intend to improve upon AOSP to provide a stable and better alternative to OEM roms with additional features.
Features
There are some cool features, see for yourself
Truth is I'm just lazy to write a long list of features and we intend to focus on the stability rather than adding a ton of features.
Gapps is included!
What's broken?
- WiFi Display on devices using MiraCast

Bug reporting:
-> DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
-> Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
-> Do not approach us without any logs for reporting bugs
-> If it is a random reboot, grab everything from /sys/fs/pstore. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
-> Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Thank you so much I've been waiting for this!
Sorry for being newbie, can you provide more detailed installation guide? I'm on OOS 11.0.4.1 and have my bootloader unlocked, but no root nor custom recovery.
Also if I removed my phone lock (pin and fingerprint) prior to the installation would I still need to format my personal data?
Thanks again!

Great work Harish. Also congratulations for first official. Good ROM, highly recommended. Definitely daily driver and better than A11.
Thanks for still continuing to develop for the OP7.
I was a little confused about how to install it, but I'll try to go to the telegram to understand it better.
Great work.
I have installed it yesterday and it is working great and pretty smooth than A11 roms. I am planning to use it as daily driver, not sure if all apps i use including banking apps are compatible with A12 yet. E.g. HSBC India app is broken on this rom. Please confirm if itbcan work. Thanks.
Also request to include face unlock feature under security tab if possible in the next build. Thanks.

Sorry for noob questions in advance.
I can see installation is done via fastboot only, but after installation we need to format data from recovery.
1. Which recovery to use to format data? I doubt rom comes with a recovery.
2. Format data to f2fs or ext4?
3. How's the situation with widevine L1? If you have it then can you post steps for that as well.
Right now I'm on stock rom with locked bootloader.

Once you install ROM from fastboot as mentioned in OP, after installation is complete your phone automatically restarts at that time you have to boot into recovery. The recovery this time will be ROM recovery in which you will have to format data before to reboot to system. Hope this helps.

Steps are pretty simple as mentioned in OP. Update your phone to latest OOS (A11) first before to go for this A12 ROM.
The rom is smooth and responsive, I will use it as daily driver.
Issues I face:
1- my voice sounds digitalized or something, using the phone built in mic.
2- The notification panel sometimes become 100% transparent.
3- Sometimes the whole screen flashes with max brightness during fingerprint unlocking. (Maybe started to happen after enabling single tap to wake)
4- In SIMs settings, only the 1st SIM is showing, and I can deactivate it, however, my 2nd SIM isn't showing there and there's no way to deactivate it (both SIMs are working all the time)
5- I think the vibration intensity while setting the alert slider to vibration is quite high (maybe I'm used to OOS).
6- Vibration intensity for notifications is also a little bit high even though I set it as "low" in settings.
The fingerprint unlocking vibration intensity is the perfect intensity for me (I think it's like the OOS one) I hope you can make the "low" option equal to that
I'll update my reply whenever I face new things.
All are minor issues, otherwise, amazing rom, thank you so much I really appreciate all the hard work you do.
P.S. If anyone wants to enable the "single tap to wake" it's under Settings - krypton settings - device settings - touchscreen gestures - single tap. I thought this could help someone.
Does cromecast work?
Does fingerprint work as good as on oxygen os?

Installation:
Install TWRP and reboot to recovery
Either copy zip to internal storage and install OR use adb sideload
Format data (wiping is not sufficient, formatting requires you to type "yes")
Reboot
Important notes:
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.
MIUI 13 firmware is included in ROM zip, no need to flash it seperately.
Other notes:
The default camera in these builds is ANX camera. Everything is working (including 108mp mode) apart from HDR/Slowmo video recording.

The current version 0517 is great, no obvious bugs, the system is quite stable, minor issues with the ANX camera can wait for subsequent updates.
If any newcomer has finished brushing this rom, I would like to give some advice on how to improve the battery life.
After brushing.
1. modify the wifi detection parameters, you can solve the problem that when there is no WIFI outside the wall, the system will automatically switch to the phone network from the WIFI inside the wall.
adb shell settings put global captive_portal_mode 0
adb shell settings put global captive_portal_https_url https://www.google.cn/generate_204
2. it is recommended to install fridge (icebox), black threshold type of software, suppress the domestic software's self-start and background behavior, standby time will be significantly improved. I installed icebox, must be installed after the brush, through the device owner can be installed successfully, do not need to root. if you have been using a period of time, even if you delete a variety of accounts, you can no longer through the device owner way, at this time, only recovery restore the original factory, can be installed successfully.
3. display settings, select 60HZ refresh rate, and then install S20 Refresh Rate Control, mix4 can be used, set to 90HZ refresh rate, as opposed to 120HZ, in the experience of smooth picture at the same time, can save a little is a little.
btw, mix4 is really power hungry. 888 is the Fire Dragon.
Thank you! This Rom Runs very smooth, but how i get he Pedometer works ?
Unfortunately I am unable to install this rom. I'm installing twrp and going to recovery. The computer does not see the phone to be able to throw the rom.
At the moment, I have a stable miui 13

Try it this way:
1 First enter FASTBOOT mode
2 Run: fastboot boot twrp-3.6.1-odin.img
3 When the TRWP page appears, Advanced, ADB Sideload
4 Run: adb devices, if it goes well, you can see your mix4 now
6 Run: adb sideload PixelExperience....zip
Enjoy the ROM~

2. Reflash MIUI V12 Fastboot
3. Set Up MIUI without Password Finish.
4.Settings ->developer Mode ->secure Boot disable.
5. Reboot Fastboot and flash Twrp.img via Fastboot Boot Twrpingname.img
6. Mtp activate and Transfer the Rom and the orange fox Recovery
7. Flash Orange Recovery
8. Reboot in Orange Recovery( it does auto load)
9. Flash the Rom

It most definitely supports 5G, I have 5G service on my device right now lol. Check your SIM card, I had a bug report about 5G working on MIUI but not on my ROMs, turns out that user didn't have a 5G compatible SIM card and MIUI was fake reporting 5G support.
What is updated with this release?
Which is the best way to Update this Rom without delete Storage?
Just sideload ZIP and flash?
Thanks
I've built TWRP 3.6.2 A12 branch and decryption is working. Untested other than making sure it boots and decrypts internal storage correctly. Use fastboot boot to run it and Advanced/Flash current TWRP to actually install it. If you find any bugs feel free to report them but bear in mind the whole TWRP A12 branch is currently WIP.

Added high touch poll rate for you gamers out there
Enabled multi threaded render engine (improves UI smoothness)
Enabled some power saving tweaks for Wifi/Bluetooth
Some other minor tweaks and improvements
Also got an updated TWRP A12 build for you here: Download
Touchscreen now works properly on MIUI based ROMs

Mi 11 lite 5g Android 13 custom rom is lacking, so I share the rom I built.
This rom will be uploaded irregularly.
Custom roms will be uploaded only when i want to build with updated source.
I'm busy so I can't see the reply.
I just created a thread to show where custom roms are uploaded.
Active feedback is difficult.
Because Im not rom maintainer and specialist, If you have problems with this ROM, try another ROM.

Using a previously backed up kernel, the changes to support exfat were not applied.
The problem is solved by adding the following statement.
It will be reflected in the February update.

Hello, currently i am using the xiaomi.eu rom which has miui 14 and android 13, but i would like to try this evoX rom. Do i need to flash the miui 13 global rom first or i can just flash this evoX rom? Thank you
Edit: i flashed xiaomi global stock (13.0.9) and then i flashed this rom and it's working perfectly, thank you so much for your hard work <3
The front camera does not work in banking applications. The same thing happens in the other roms.
Only Pixel Experience 13 and ArrowOS worked but they were discontinued

Unlocked Bootloader is mandatory to flash anything custom (ROM, kernel, recovery, Magisk/root)
Part of the Google requirements (in place already for years)
fastboot flash ...
is not allowed with the locked BL.
Even if ROM can be installed from TWRP, you still need to install TWRP first time by flashing through Fastboot, hence the BL must be unlocked anyway
There will be an update in March as well.
If you want to know the rom upload news in real time, subscribe to my telegram channel at the link below.
Starting from the Android 14 build notification, a survey of the custom ROM you want to build will also be conducted.

I had the same problem once. Flash stock global firmware with mi flash, make sure to flash without locking the bootloader, then flash this rom again.
Hello! This ROM is great and all but it seems that I cannot connect to my TWS earbuds anymore (FIIL T1 PRO), it used to work in MIUI. Any way you can fix it?
edit: Oh! nevermind, it somehow fixed itself
In a situation where a clean installation is required, different ROMs are built according to the results of the survey.
Does this rom have call recording built in?

Does this pass safetynet out of the box? Understand if we root its a diferent story, but wanted to check this out of the box if it does. Looks nice, thank you
thanks for ricedroid mr dev. A bug I noticed was the text messages weren't popping up like the headsup display i think its called.
Edit. Oo it seems to be working now the heads-up display. Woo thanks .
Guys, having trouble flashing this, i was on graphene, and extracted all payload contents using payloadgo, fastboot flashed all images, but it was bootlooping.
I dont see a recovary.img extracted to try and flash recovary, any ideas?
In stock Google pixel firmware flashing each img file in cmd works. Well it work for me. Going from a custom ROM u prob have to go stock. And wipe so it doesn't go weird when booted.

OK, from stock, booted into fasboot, using CMD you simply fastbooted each .img file? Did you have to boot into fastbootd at any point? I will give it another whirl, thanks
yeah i installed the rom twice. using fastboot flash xxxx xxxx.img and also flashed this other ricedroid of telegram which worked like fastboot update rom.zip and then went into thats recovery and flashed the rice droid from there. i got a really bad memory though and cant be of alot of help with this. i was just mentioning what i could remember lol. good luck. the dev needs to update the instructions a little. i had the same confusion at first not seeing recovery.img. which is why i tried the telegram ricedroid but at that point in time that one was buggy with sim not working so i flashed this xda one directly over it because that 1 had ricedroid/lineage recovery and easy install process. i have been running this rice droid for the day. it seems pretty good and im quite fussy and tried lots of roms and never really stuck with any due to issues. this 1 had a issue with headsup display working but later on it started working lol. other then that this seems to run fine. i think battery is about the same as stock pixel firmware. from monitoring the drain with 3c toolbox and fkm.
edit dev i see you uploaded a new version. thanks is there a changelog. i will make a bug list in time for you and post it here.
The new update has a app lock nice. Feels real secure. Thanks again.

I think I saw that in the setting some where. I removed my pill button at the bottom with the settings. Vendor boot image is inside the rom zip then extract the payload.bin file.
Mr dev use should look into James dsp it is the best dsp I have used. I just disable the audio fx one it's plain and crappy I also use this zip file that limits my charging to 90 percent. I'm surprised no 1 has implemented a charging limit using maybe that method. I wonder if we will one day be able to get the old qs icons back. Circle shape and other shapes. They were cool. Also I noticed there's no mod for the battery icons to alter the color like aosp mods has and can't alter the color of text for status bar icons and date and clock. There is background chip tho.
