[QUESTION] Sms mirror app - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I am using two phones with the same phone number. This is a service which my telecom provides. I can make calls and use data on both of them. However, only my main device can receive the SMS messages. Can you suggest an app that can mirror the SMS messages received so I can read them on my other phone too?
Any message forwarding apps are not relevant because as I said my second phone does not receive SMS messages.
Thanks!

SMS Problem with Niki Project ROM

I love the ROM on my Touch Dual. Thanks for the great work. Only problem I have is that I am unable to receive any SMS. I can send SMS fine (and people do receive them) but when they send me SMS I get nothing. Could someone please help how to fix this?
(I am on T-Mobile USA)
are you sure you are not receiving them under the original message, this rom uses threaded sms by default, meaning they dont appear in your inbox as they would normally
Yes - I am positive. All I have are SMS threads that have only my messages. Not a single one of them have any of the responses.
For Tmobile are there any settings I need to keep in mind?
There is a setting under "SMS Service" which says:
SMS Over:
What does this need to be set to? (GSM/GPRS?)
Also what number does the "Text Messages Service Center" need to be set to (under Phone settings)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot Receive/Send MMS/SMS

For some odd reason I am not able to receive or send text messages. I tried using Handscent and the app that sends your messages to an email account but so far and no results. I am using a Madaco 3.1 custom rom with the most updated radio (63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26). Also I do not have a data or texting plan and my network is ATT in the USA.
Thx.
Im not sure about mms ... but for sms check in the settings if you have sms service center number in there....
Yes, there is a sms service number.

To send and receive sms

[Q] Received SMS are not displayed on the mobile

I have a strange SMS related error. Perhaps someone knows a fix?
I receive SMS from a House Alarm device. That device connects to the mobile phone provider via modem and sends SMS with the UCP protocol to my Galaxy S3. I do receive the SMS, but it only appears in the pulldown/notification area (similar to a flash SMS).
When I click on the message in the notification area, I am ending up in the active SMS application which is empty.
I am usually using Handcent, but the effect is identical if I deinstall Handcent and/or make the stock messaging app the default again.
The S3 will alert me again with the same SMS message after a while, depending on the reminder setup. Anyway, even if I cannot see the SMS messages on the mobile, they are received. And I can actually access them with the PC application MyPhoneExplorer. The SMS properties there show me that the SMS message does not have a sender address. That is the only thing which makes it different from other SMS.
Any other SMS sent to my S3 is received normally.
If the House Alarm device sends SMS to any other mobile, it arrives as normal SMS. If I move my SIM card to another phone (I tried another stock SGS3) it works as expected as well.
So I must assume that there is a setting in my phone which makes SMS from Unknown Senders behave strangely on my phone.
Anyone have an idea?

Using US tablet to send MMS messages

Hello,
I have a galaxy tab S using the Sprint service. It seems that either Samsung or the provider butchered the tablet so that it won't send text messages or phone calls. Is there anything in the play store or similar that would allow the device to use the sms / mms gateway settings to send text messages?
