Are you using a different launcher? Those options are not available when pixel launcher is not set as default.

Don't think it's shows if you are not running stock launcher. I just checked. It's there with stock but but with Nova.

If by icon you mean application, than just drag&drop an icon down there wherever you want it, it will replace the existing icon
Install ADW launcher and you can change the icons. It comes with Themes as well. You can see my homescreen in attachments.
umm i flashed void rom and using go launcher now, so no problems... the problem with lg launcher was the shortcuts got reset after reboot...

[Q] Cropped text in Accuweather widget

Hello, I have a strange problem with the Accuweather widget
As seen by this screenshot

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The text is cropped, I've tried many cities and it always happens, I have tried resizing it, and the same happens. I have deleted and created the widget again, I have cleared it's data.
I don't know what to do anymore.
did you alter/change the system FONT?
did you change DPI from default to fit more/fewer stuff on screen?

if I undestand, maybe is only a icon change in the launcher action button of opening the app drawer. You can change this by pressing the icon > edit > and selecting a new icon (pack, default or in other location). Hope it helps
if i select Default its that Blue one become...when on other themes it doesnt
Can some one upload the icon from LauncherPro?
aswel when app drawer is opened House gets blue corners too

I've used Desktop VisualizeR & QuickShortcutMaker to create app shortcuts (with the name as a blank space) for most of my apps. However there a couple of "live" shortcut icons like Messaging that don't respond well to that technique. Is there another way to achieve what I describe in the above image?
boop
If you are rooted, Nottach Xposed has an option to disable the names: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293956. It's under 'Launcher>Hide dock app labels'.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm unrooted and that's not going to be happening very soon since I updated the firmware.
