Anyone can help me. I got an issue about my microphone. I use Redmi Note 4 Quallcom with Pixel Experience 10 Latest Rom.
My voice can't be heard when I pick up the phone, not only on phone call but also on whatsapp call. I can't record my voice also on my voice recorder app. But I always use google voice while typing on google keyboard. It is use microphone when using google voice, isn't it? That's why I'm not sure this is the hardware problem.
I try to reach out on any article and youtube but it says that the google assistant (OK Goolgle) must be off. I've tried this one but no result.
If you have any way to fix this problem please comment. Thank you.

Now, as mentioned in the title, we are troubleshooting the problem of unresponsiveness of microphone on lg series (even in nexus devices)
The problem of microphone. Firstly, it isn't a hardware problem as every one thinks. It is mostly related to software, as every app that uses mic captures it and prevents its activity in other apps
First step is to disable Google Now and Google voice detection.
The second method is to close any other app that uses microphone such as camera, voice recorder or maybe sometimes call recorder, mic testing apps and Google search.
Steps for Google voice detection disable
i am owning a mi bluetooth headset .
on my iphone 5c when it is connected i can access siri in my pocket by pressing my call button.
but on my redmi note 2 it just call last number or start the music player when i press the call button.
i am able to use google now with the headset but it is on the app and with unlocked phone.
so it is not hand free.
it seems the phone has no hands free voice dialer or am i missing something?

well it seems the solution is only to asign a phone button in settings or a mikey to google now.

or install a aosp rom because they are easier to tweak ,more compatible than miui and have native voice dialler support.
i have rooted my redmi note 3 today n then installed the resurrection remix rom everything works fine but the voice during calls are not coming mic as well as reciever no voice is coming and also google app is not detecting "ok google". After this i even have installed pixel rom but the problem is still there. I am not able to call any one so plz if someone can then please solve it asap

Recently i flashed both AOSP 9.0 and LOS 16 on my Redmi Note 4 and both of them worked pretty well. Except for a few things. During my testing i came across two major problems in both the roms which are as follows:
1. Calls audio isn't routed through Bluetooth. I got my Samsung Level U and media volume works just fine but call audio. Naaa it just plays through the speaker. I did checked my settings and tried a few fixes i found on the internet with no luck.
2. Google Assistant isn't working. I long press home button and nothing happens at all. Home button doesn't even open Google App. I download Google Assistant through play store and whenever i click on the icon it just opens google app instead of Google Assistant. I went to the settings and made sure Google Assistant was enabled but again no luck.
I know that the ROMs are in early stage but if anyone found any workaround these problems just lemme know down in the comments.

Yep button remapper somehow enabled google assistant which is weird because i dont know why Google Assistant app couldn't do so.
And the first one is really a bug. I did try using a different headset and audio was routed through it but it was extremely distorted. I mean literally it was totally noise and no distinguished voice so that's still a issue.
Problem here after update 10, microphone extremely low on WhatsApp voice notes and voice recorder just on those apps and this weird notification appears every time an app use mic.
The message says " prohibit (app) from use microphone?

Is very frustrating. The mic sometimes works but mostly extreme low volume on WhatsApp voice notes and stock voice recorder app.

I used 1 of the modded WhatsApp and see the option.

DISABLE THE PROXIMITY SENSOR
Solution 2
when voice call other person, immediately raise the volume. u will see the call volume icon. hang up when finish.

Android 10 Low Mic Volume issue
I came across the WhatsApp giving problem in low mic volume.
Solution
TURN OFF "Hey Google" in Google typing INPUT SETTING.
DISABLE also the Google Assistant.
mine works wonder!
Until Google fix this problem... no way I'm going to use this buggy Google Assistant
