Check the comments in Turbo ROM. Think page 16 someone posted some nice kernel audit settings. I've used for week now same usage roughly as you and getting great battery.

Under settings, about device, updates... Bit this only works of the builder uses our guide on github to activate it...

Installation

No its not pre rooted. But u can flash the SuperSU zip.
I recommend u flash the SuperSU v2.79-SR3 zip
4G/LTE is working 100% on the 2nd SIM?
It seems that tape to awake doesn't work.... I had to install kernel audiator to activate the function...

During setup, I keep getting "Advanced Settings has stopped". WHY!!! It won't go away. Can someone suggest a fix for me because I can't complete setup with that notification popping up every second.

Android 8.0 is it possible? What about a 64-bit rom?
I would like to have a Custom ROM running on Android 8.0 or even in 7.1.2 Nougat but being in 64bit architecture, is any of these possibilities possible? If yes, I would appreciate it very much, because without any of the two I do not see much need to migrate from the stock: p Not to mention that now that I have done the root I am unable to update via OTA (Sorry English is using translator)

I believe you'll need at least pico gapps to get the package installer, otherwise you'll no be able to install any apk files...
