Question Call recording with stock global ROM - Redmi Note 10

Hello,
I have latest stock global ROM and would like to record a call. However the option to record a call does not show up in the google dialer app.
Is there any way to enable it?
If not, what is the best third party app to record a call?

just flashed MIUI 13.0.5 Global some hours ago and i have Call Recording with Google Dialer by default , you can try some other apps from the Google Play like this one (sorry for the language)

yes , i always had it

That's weird. I'm still at MIUI Global 12.5.5 and there's no option for me to record in Google dialer. Tried a third party app called Cube ACR but the recording quality is very bad, not to mention that it needs a subscription.
Wonder what makes your phone show the recording feature and mine don't? Maybe the region set in Mi account? Or the recovery phone number?

Just upgraded to 13.0.5. Still no call recording in google dialer..

So I enabled it with this Magisk module
[Guide] Enable automatic call recording in stock dialer app (root needed)
Introduction I've recently bought Pixel 5 as a replacement for my Nexus 5, that I broke few week ago. And I found out that Call recording feature is not enabled for my country. I figured out, how to enable it, and here I will write how you can do...

i dont test that dear but if you want i will do that for you
that is free on applanet
the 1.8.7 i trail version but i dont know about 1.8.2
thanks .
i'll try this app ..
here is some advantages that this app got:
TapeMachine for Android features play, record, convert WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, and MP3 under certain conditions, scroll and zoom the waveform for easy forward/backward seeking, select and export, delete, crop, mute parts of the sound, with undo support, play the selection looped, send by mail or with other apps such as Dropbox, record in the background when the phone is locked, and adjustable input gain, and automatic gain feature.
What's new in this version: Version 1.8.3 increase license checking timeout and fixed crash at startup.
i'm so sorry because i dont have that on my phone right now but i will test it by my self although that sounds good for rec some voices.did you use applanet? that is market free version do you have that?

Exactly, Automatic Call Recorder by Appliqato. I use it on stock 4.4.4.
Automatic Call Recorder by Global effect
I've found a very nice app for call recording, that is feature-rich and doesn't require root.
It's called Automatic Call Recorder and can be found in Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.globaleffect.callrecord.
As the name suggests, it automatically records incoming/outgoing phone calls in any file format you wish (mp3, mp4, 3gp, wav) and you can adjust the quality.
Very importantly, it allows you to save the recordings on an external SD card, saving space on your device, even on KitKat.
It also supports linking to cloud services (Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive).
Also useful is the option to have an alert dialog asking you whether to save a recording after every call.
That way, you can only save recordings of important calls, instead of just maintaining a huge archive of calls some of which are not worth keeping.
The recording is clear and loud on both sides, I am using the app on my Note 4 and my boyfriend on his Xperia Z3 (all running KitKat).
I recommend trying the fully-featured 2-week trial, it'll certainly make you want to get the full version!
All in all is an excellent solution that, once set up properly, according to your needs, will give you hassle-free, high quality recordings.
The overall UI is very nice too.
Try it, you won't regret it! :good:

this Call Recording app works well on Nokia 8

I have been reading a lot about call recording issues regarding Android pie. So I decided that i'll share a call recording app that I have been using that works very well on the Nokia 8.
Call Recorder found on F-Droid has been serving me quite well (https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.github.axet.callrecorder/) even before I rooted the phone. I have attached screenshots of the last 2 calls I recorded earlier in the month. If you are unrooted I suggest you leave settings as default first before fiddling with them. If you are rooted then you can use "Voice Line" as your source since it already works for me. Dont forget to select "Calls Recording" option in the 3-dot menu before testing it. It might also be wise to ensure that the 'skip silence' and 'disable battery optimization' options are enabled.
I hope you guys find this useful as me.

Good to know:good:
It works really well, coming from miui which has a great call recorder function built in, on Nokia 8 or any other android one device running pie this is the best way to have call recorder functionality.
My nokia 8 is non rooted and this app is working perfectly with no cracking sound from mic recording and proper contact name instead of unknown as with many other recorders i tried from play store.

Is anybody able to make P30 Pro respond to "OK Google" command?

Hi guys,
for some reason my P30 Pro refuses to answer to "OK Google" command. Anybody has a guide for this?
I selected English US in Google app, Voice settings, but getting "Access with Voice Match - This feature is currently unavailable for this language"

I think that you also need to select a region that supports US English. I live in Italy and had to change my region to United States.
is there any way to disable it off the power button ?

Tried all your suggestions, not working. Here's a screen recording.

I have the voice match enabled and even then, it doesn't unlock the device and just asks for the pin code.

I had this problem. Google Assistant worked just wouldnt respond to "OK Google" and wouldn't let me retrain / delete voice model.
I force stopped and cleared data from Google app restarted and installed google assistant and then restarted again (i did it without restarted many times before giving up and rebooting phone)
when i loaded up google assistant from play store it let me retrain voice and now fully works
I have the exact same problem with my honor 9 and that happened right after the emui 9 update, it works only if I'm already in Google app screen. (was working fine on emui 8).
I was able to get it working for a day or so by turning off Assistant completely and then setting it back up. However when I went back to it today, it's disabled and I can't re-enable.
Not sure why

Yes this is working too.
You might be aware that Google suited YouTube Vanced developers team and the app is not developed anymore, hence Vanced will cease to work anytime soon.

Awesome! Thanks mate for your help.
This is an excellent phone. Note that Android auto will not work, there's no VoLTE (that could be fixed by a rom update, everyone's complaining) and you cannot change default launcher.
However the Oppo's Android 11 Color OS is very stable.
Noted. I don't use Android Auto. No VoLTE is a bummer but I can live with it. For the launcher, I just remain to use the default launcher. Thanks again.

Well here in Malaysia, if we imported phone from China, they don't support VoLTE. If MY set, then it will support.

French is one of the base language offered out of the box with Oxygen OS.
The only ADB actions you might want it to remove some useless additional Chinese applications installed by default (they are a few, not a big deal neither)
