I'm trying to get a hold of the maintainer too, but no responses as of yet. I can't seem to boot into TWRP, so I can't exactly root my device neither.
I previously tried booting with an older version, and it worked fine before. But now, that option doesn't work too. I'm basically stuck haha

typically qhsusb = dead motherboard
are you working on this phone for someone else ?
was it a bad flash ? do you actually know how to enter the bootloader or Recovery ?

Seems symptoms of a hard brick.
Does it shows anything while charging? Animation, led, anything?

Agreed.... messed up mobo r near impossible to fix though :/ unless there are easier ways created by aftermarket devs like in Samsung tablet S or HTC HD2(The Leo Legend!)

I still have that HD2 fully working on Android!
That's sad man. May your phone rest in peace.

If it's out of warranty, try to get a refurbished logic board. I did that for my Nexus7 and it was way cheaper than a brand new one.
JTAG can do it, also you can download drivers now that you couldn't before, he needs to learn to use google, there really is no excuse for flashing the wrong ROM there are plenty of good people on here to ask like I did, I asked the question can I flash only l21 ROMs and what is kiwi and I got told what I could flash, remember friends beauty fades but stupid is forever !

Jtag is somewhat expensive.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 using XDA Labs
The cheapest JTAG box I found is 150$ plus shipping and import taxes. Also there is no guarantee it will work with H5x (must have the appropriate firmware).
I would say it's safer (and probably cheaper) to get it fixed officially.

take it to service center,,, they have lot of other tools... they can bring back ur phone maybe to life.

How to use QPST to unbrick redmi note 4(mido)?

Must I change the port to 9008? But how?
It is impossible, but can not unlock the line brush downgrade. Can only use the official release of the unlock tool to unlock, because the millet made some restrictions. To be honest, I hate it!

Try flashing the latest firmware available. This might solve the issue. You can find the firmware download links here. Use global stable.

If you want to know the know-how of how to revert back to stock MIUI configuration then you are asking me to duplicate a work of another XDA member and am not of a fan of doing that. :silly:
What I mean is just visit @sachin n 's index thread and you will find the answer to your question.
Sachin's thread will definitely help you.
Regards.

Lenovo A7000 Hard Brick

Hello guy, I was trying to add new custom ROM of lineageos 15.1 in my phone. So I flashed TWRP and successfully installed custom rom lineageos 15.1 with root addon on my phone.
It was working very well, but due to lots of apps, it is getting slower. So I downloaded titanium backup pro (Cracked One) to remove the pre-installed apps of Google.
When I just installed the titanium backup pro app, it restarts my phone, and my phone stopped working (stuck at TWRP recovery screen). So I thought to reinstall the lineageos 15.1. But this time whenever I try to install the file, it sends me back to the starting point of TWRP recovery mode.
So I got pissed off and opened the SP FLASH tool to remove TWRP, but I don't have any idea how to remove it, so I go to the format section of sp flash tool and format the phone.
Now I tried to power on my device, but it wasn't showing a logo of TWRP or Lenovo it was just a black screen. So I figure out by googling that my phone is hard bricked so I tried to flash the Lenovo a7000 framework with SP Flash Tool, but nothing worked out.
So here I am asking for help in XDA Developers Forum. Please help me out I will not get any other phone till my JEE Advanced Exam

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that...
But unfortunately I don't think I can help you with that, I mean, if I understand, you erased TWRP recovery, and you can't enter fastboot mode so I don't how we can install anything on it...
That sucks!
If you really need a phone, try to get an extra cheap clap phone to deal with calls an SMS, and to manage your Google account use a PC.
Except that, I can't help you anymore.
Stay strong :highfive:

Question How to install TWRP recovery on Xperia 1 III?

Is it the same as Mark 2? I did not find any tutorials for Mark 3
NOPE. DON'T EVER THINK OF FLASHING XPERIA 1 II RECOVERY TO XPERIA 1 III. Both have different hardware, so flashing Xperia 1 II TWRP to Xperia 1 III will most likely to soft brick your phone and you will lose all your data.
And for the Xperia 1 III TWRP, I haven't found one. I don't even own the phone, but if you want, I can tell you if I found one.
What do you lose when you flash though. I want to use Google pay, that'll not work properly.
Do we know if the TWRP is even working on a version for 1 III?

None so far. Sony documentation on new 5.4 Kernel is lame honestly and I have been able to boot twrp, touch works (yay) but the kernel needs further drivers enabled to make it work with booted Android as well since I haven't found a way to flash twrp kernel only to twrp and not the whole boot partition.
I wonder if it has to do with the A and B partition. Have to flash it to each partition separately... I dont know, I'm just thinking out loud. I have never done any recovery dev myself so its pretty foreign to me. I know when I had to flash my patched boot image I had to flash it to both the A and B partition.
Hopefully you, or someone can figure it out. I would love to have a good working custom recovery. Thats the only thing holding this phone back for me. lol

Jimbo, do you have an experimental build available? I've bootlooped my 5 iii (same architecture as 1 iii, kernels work interchangeably) and would like to get some baby photos off before factory resetting, can't find another way.

I think its dead because they ask for help and for testers and then we hear nothing anymore -___-
I would gladly test or help where I can for a custom recovery on the 1 III but I am no expert when it comes to programing/coding for that stuff so I am no use to get the ball rolling. lol
I would test too...

Can I get your source for TWRP for the Sony Xperia 1 iii? Or what TWRP image you used?
Going to try and achieve to make a unofficial image. Thank you!

Question will the device receive developers' attention?

POCO X3 GT's chinese variant sells extremely well in China (Actually it's Xiaomi's best-selling device this month). However I'm seeing no content out here.
Is that because the device is not selling well in EU?
I guess it's the processor. It's not easy for MTK developers to adapt ROM.
Yes maybe. If they can buy. But here's the TWRP if you want DOWNLOAD I hope this can help us.
