USB-OTB Host UVC Webcam

Hi,
I am trying to figure out which UVC camera's are supported by the Samsung Galaxy S4 Kernel. It does not seem to be published anywhere. I have tested various camera's and some are detected, but I get no video from the Camera app on the phone. Perhaps there is an expert here who has some knowledge of this topic? I noticed that there were some threads related to a CM version that has included support for OTG Webcams, but I could not find more details about this.
This is for a research project that I am working on.
Thanks for any help.

[Q] Video from android camera to remote computer

Is there anyway I can stream camera video from android online outside of wifi routher so I can see video from remote computer?
There are copule of solutions but those app only stream video from android to pc over the same wifi routher.
Good program for that is Ip webcam.
And you can also send that video to another android device with tinyCam Monitor.
But I want to stream it online so it could be accesed by remote computer!
One solution is with IP Camera Adapter so you could use video from android as your webcam in skype.
But this is too complicated because you must have your computer turned on, and skype opened.
Some other solutions have same problem because you must have your computer on.
I found one really difficult solution with port forwarding and you have to open host on .no-ip.biz...
So, can it be done only from android phone with one or two programs.

Check DroidCam
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dev47apps.droidcam
ADDED AFTER A BIT OF THINKING
It can work only on same Wi-Fi or USB.
No problem. You can try a workaround. Plug it to a computer where you want camera and install Teamviewer on that PC. Then view that computer's screen (and obviously mobile camera) via teamviewer on your computer.
That makes you to install only 2 softwares on 3 devices.
1) DroidCam on Mobile.
2) Teamviewer on computer near mobile.
3) Teamviewer on your computer where you are going to see video.
Your solution with DroidCam is same as mine with IP Camera Adapter because both makes your android camera as webcam.
Teamviewer is as difficult as with skype and maybe more.
I guess that there is no android app that connects android camera and remote computer but
somehow I am sure that it can be done.
Application Ip webcam is great and lacks only that option.
I found solution. It can be done with Airdroid.
You log on with your email and password on android phone and then you can access from everywhere in the world.
You can check your sms, photos, or turn camera on or off: turn light on, take snapshot.
There is no sound so that is big minus.
We can lock this thread.

[Q] What is Chromecast??? a detailed info plz :)

Can anybody tell my what is chromecast?
i heared that you plug it to TV and send the info over Wi-Fi from a Device such as android
At first, is it "Mirroring" or similar to DLNA?
i mean it's just for Photos and Videos and vice versa?
I Actually Want to Browse the Internet on My Tablet while viewing it on the TV
Or Precisely, i want to use My Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 as a Mini-PC and this Tab dosen't support USB OTG or HDMI/MHL Capabilities
so Using a Bluetooth Mouse and On-Screen Keyboard with streaming to TV Over Chromecast would be Everything i want
i just want to browse Facebook, nothing else.

[Q] < external USB UVC camera to tablet >

Hi,
I am looking for a solution to support external USB cameras on commercially available Android tablets (tablets that already contain internal camera).
The objective is to use a standard external USB UVC webcam to provide video to existing standard Android video conferencing apps (Skype, Ustream, LiveStream or other).
To do this, we need that it will support streaming video from a USB UVC camera using standard, unmodified versions of Android applications for voice and video. The external UVC camera device will be instead the front or back camera.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks.

Galaxy Αλφα & OTG capabilities :)

hey ppl,
recently i've bought a simple otg usb cable and i attach on it:
- A usb hub
- A keyboard
- A mouse
- A hard disk
all at the same time, and it was amazing, specially the felling in broswing the whole android and ofc ...allll the games
My next step is to attach a small monitor (8-14'') and a web camera.
So my questions are 2:
1. Do you know if our devices can "see" a third party camera? and if yes, how i controll it?
2. Do you know any monitor that can be attached on it? a link would be awesome if you know any
...and a subquestion,
i have a friend with a gigabyte MIKA M3, we tried the otg cable, and aaaaall the gadgets (keyb, mouse etc)
and nothing seemed to work, the phone does not power up the external gadfets, do you know why ?
is there a setting in android that has to be changed?
Thank you in advance
PS: i promise some pictures in the next days with all attached
hey again, here's is a video i've made with description subs,
at the start i connect the hub and after that the devices one by one
after i "test" to see if all the external devices are operational from
the phone. the video was shot from dslr which was also connected on hub,
and it had the option to be controlled from phone via this app:
