How To Guide Unlock Bootloader Redmi Note 11s - Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G (fleur)

Here are the steps I did to unlock the bootloader
git clone https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
cd mtkclient
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
python3 setup.py build
python3 setup.py install
python mtk xflash seccfg unlock <---- this did not work
python mtk da seccfg unlock <---- this one worked for me
And follow the instructions on the screen. Turn off phone and then hold both vol buttons and plug in cable
# To erase metadata and userdata (before flashing new rom)
python3 mtk e metadata,userdata,md_udc
Hold both vol buttons and plug in after running

I am going to buy this phone: POCO M4 PRO 4G. But I have a few questions.
Can you root this device - POCO M4 PRO 4G? Can you install custom recovery such as TWRP?
Any advice for not bricking this device? If bricked, is there a way to unbrick it? (such as using special auth account like in"redmi note 8 pro" case)

Out of interest, why would you use this method to unlock the bootloader rather than use the official Xiaomi bootloader unlock tool?

So, I decided to go with the mtkclient bootloader unlock option because I don't like the idea of the official unlocking procedure requiring a SIM in the phone (maybe I'm paranoid...).
I have a POCO M4 Pro 4G (2201117PG) and the instructions worked for me.
Obviously you first have to activate developer mode and turn on USB debugging and OEM unlocking.
Then turn your phone off and ensure it's not plugged in via USB. Only once you've run the first mtkclient command (python mtk da seccfg unlock) do you plug the phone in then turn it on whilst holding both volume buttons simulaneously.
Follow the instructions. The process is very quick. When it is done unplug your phone and turn it on. For me a message warned me that my phone is corrupted and told me to click the power button to boot anyway.
Following the usual factory setup the unlocked bootloader status is displayed in the developer options settings pane.

Thank you very much for the detail instructions!
What are you going to do after unlocking bootloader? Root? Install TWRP revovery? Any instructions for the next steps?
MTK is famous for hard bricked phone, be careful.
Edit: I just saw your post on "how to root it":

hey i followed your tutorial to unlock my bootloader but after using fastboot erase fishheads but the following error appeared; (failed) remote; not allowed in locked state. so my bootloader is not unlocked. Explaining how it happened a little better; I tried to unlock the bootloader of my redmi note 11s 5g using another cellphone, I thought it wouldnt be such a bad idea, but my phone at the boot started to have the following error at the boot of my cellphone; dm verity corruption. I did not use my pc because at the time it was being fixed. I tried to use xiaomi unlock tool to unlock the bootloader to flash another rom to unbrick my device, but I was having a lot of erros about my mi account; it have to be connected at my device, but how tf I connect a mi account to a device with no system?

I bricked my redmi note 3, please help

I got my redmi note 3 officially unlocked and flashed zcx twrp, but when I tried to flash xiaomi.eu, I deleted the emmc_appsboot.mbn from the rom, it is my mistake. Now my phone cann't start at all.
when I boot into fastboot mode, I can see the bunny but my computer can not find the phone so I can not go to edl mode.
when I turned off the phone and connect it to computer, it shows as 900e instead of 9008 in device manager. I tried the method in http://en.miui.com/thread-274589-1-1.html, but it did not work. Is there anyway I can bring the phone back to live? Thanks.
The only way to save your phone is to flash whole ROM by fastboot ROM.
Following every steps described here and do it carefully: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
Good luck !

Press thank if i help you anyway
Do you know how to make your phone enter fastboot mode ?
1. Power off your phone first
2. Press button of [volume-] + [power] together
If you still cannot enter fastboot mode, that means your phone is dead.

I think you need to open the unit and connect the two points of the battery and it will appear in the device manager 9008. It has tutorials on how to do this.
If your phone able to enter fastboot mode, then you should do:
check your bootloader wether it's locked/unlock. If it's shown locked, try to unlock it using unlock tool.
I am pretty sure your bootloader locked again caused by flashing miui.eu rom without flash lazyflasher afterwards.
If unlock tool can't help you then you need to use reboot to edl app tool and flash it using miflash.
If reboot to edl still can't help, then the safest way is using deep flash cable to unbrick your phone. No need to open your phone to do this.

Thanks, I think so too and already opened the unit. Do you happen to know the exact location of the two points? I found a video about it but it is not very clear.
You can try this

Cant Unlock Bootloader of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Global Snapdragon Variant)

Guys I have been trying to unlock the bootloader to install lineage os on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. But when I open the Mi Unlock Tool it doesnt recognize the phone in fastboot mode and the I cant press the unlock button. I have tried every precaution and step there is
1) I tried it even by installing developer rom
2)Installed every xiaomi driver and adb drivers. The device shows up when I do the fastboot devices command in platform tools but is not recognized in the unlock tool
3)enabled usb debugging, oem unlocking and linked my mi account to device.
4) Applied for permission and got the approval because i reach the unlock button in the unlock tool even though i didnt get a sms from them saying that i got the permission
5)tried it with another xiaomi phone (Redmi 3s) with all of the above steps nad another laptop still couldnt press the unlock button
6) The only time I was the unlock tool recognized my phone in fastboot and allowed me to press the unlock button was when I installed an older version of The MI Unlock Tool. Even then it got stuck at 50% saying " Couldnt verify device need to update the unlock tool from mi.com/unlock.

ZTE Blade L3 - Known "Volume Up"-Bug on MTK devices

I am trying to unlock the bootloader of my ZTE Blade L3 by using "fastboot oem unlock".
As many users, I get an option on my phone to choose yes or no using the volume buttons, but the volume up Button is not working in the fastboot mode.
I already checked:
-the Bootloader IS LOCKED
-the volume up button IS WORKING normaly in the stock recovery and system
-i have installed the correct ADB and fastboot drivers
This Bug is well-known and there is still no solution.
Could anyone help me or did anyone found a work around to unlock the bootloader on MTK devices with the same issue?

LG K10 M250f Bootlaoder

This is a goddamn rare phone and it's driving me crazy. I already enabled USB debugging and OEM unlocking, downloaded all of its latest drivers and used Kingroot, Kingoroot and minimal ADB and fastboot console to try and unlock its bootloader (adb reboot bootloader command) and manual bootloader (both volume buttons + power button, which only shows me to the phone's IMEI number), but the stubborn little thing just refuses to open the bootloader.
Any guru out there who can give me insight on how to fix this?

That's not a proper unlock bootloader..it is safe unlock bootloader using unlock tools from xiaomi. If you unlock the bootloader to CMD it's a chance to brick. I think the proper to unlock is xiaomi tools

I tried to root with your informations but always get the same information, they say I don't have permition to do anything else.
"FAILED (remote: 'Token Verify Failed, Reboot the device')
in fastboot: error: Command failed
in ADB token error still the same.
Some other Idea to try help will be appreciated
Sorry my bad english.

You must unlock bootloader first
Does uypur phone show the authorization popup when you connect for adb and have you allowed always allow this device?
What are you all talking about in this thread?
There is NO WAY to initially unlock the bootloader without MI account, phoning home and waiting 167+hours.
PERIOD. let that sink in.

Whatever you want to do after that, requires this step before. There is no "root without MI account".
