Hi everyone. I own a Huawei Mate 10 pro under Android 8.0 + Emui 8.0.0
I'm a classic consumer. Did not make any change on phone.
I just tried to personnalise it and now have a problem with some apps which does not launch anymore. I know i have blocked some notifications etc. but now some applications like Yahoo mail can be opened but does not launch. It stays on the first welcome page of the app and that's it.
I looked over and other all parameters but cannot find the solution. By the way Facebook works and some other applications.

I have also HM10P - rooted and I manage my apps/phone via. 3C Toolbox. Can I help you something? Btw. try to check permissions for the Yahoo mail (allow storage access, phone, ...). If can I suggest you better email client - K9 Mail (with support GPG.
Anyway for luncher I have better idea - Nova luncher (I mean that it's the best of luncher).
Is there a way to activate the chat feature on google messages? I already downloaded the Carrier Services from the play store and registered my phone number to it and still it always stuck on "Setting up... Trying to verify..."

I'm not sure whether it will work in Realme 3 Pro but I have a Realme 5 Pro and I could enable the Chat Features by joining the Beta Program of the Google Messages App and then Updating the App. I think it should work in Realme 3 Pro also. Sorry for the late Reply.

HI all, I have been a follower of this amazing forum for quite some time now. A big thank you to the forum owners, mods and all concerned parties for the effort, information and forum.
I need help this time around. I have a XIAOMI MI 10T. WITH GLOBAL MIUI 12 ROM, running Miui 12.0.5.0., android 10.
Can some one please help me, to install either xiaomi's MI apps or a working third party or google alternative apps to Google contacts, Google Dialer, and Google Messages(SMS) Apps? WITH OUT ROOTING MY DEVICE?
It would be really awesome to have them back.
Problems I face with factory installed google apps are,
1.my contacts are not allowed to get saved on my device.
2.google dialer's call recorder self defeats the purpose it exists for. No video calling Built in.
3.google's message (sms) app is way too slow in searching through the contacts when I need to send a message and IT JUST DOESNT have an option to share a Contact in TEXT format, only mms is allowed for some reason.
4. Post DEC 2020 security update, non of the alternative apps from the google's play store work without bugs, or without solving the above problems.
HELP.
I even tried contacting google apps developer team, as per their developer contact email Id left in the play store (Which is, [email protected]). the automated reply said

I have the whatsapp account I use for my job in it (in the Whatsapp dual app), and I want to move this Whatsapp account and keep the data to my new phone (Redmi Note 10 5G with Global ROM, Google services and Drive working well, I also want to use this Whatsapp account in the dual app, because I already use my personal whatsapp in the normal Whatsapp app (no dual).
I know is not easy, but I think there will be some option to do that, I don't want to lose all the chats, files, etc that I have in this WhatsApp account. I hope I explained clear....sorry if not. Feel free to ask me

Right now, I have this setup :
Old Phone:
Redmi 4 with Chinese ROM
Whatsapp app (downloaded from uptodown.com)
New phone:
Google 7 with Global ROM
Whatsapp app from play store
I tried many things even bought 50$ Wondershare Mobil Trans. but no success!
I got stuck in the process on Old phone, when I am in whatsapp and click on "Settings->Chats->Chat Backup," I have no additional Menu, It's displaying only a small popup and I do not enter to a new option page. (the popup will stay 20sec and go from 1% to 100% then the same page is displayed)
Do you have the same behavior ? (on my Chinese ROM it's all the same, Global Rom I have the backup page.
