This is great! I will try it in the following days!

Hey, i have it flashed and it works fine so far. Only problem i have is the proximity sensor acting up.
With sensor test app it works but if i do call or listen to voice message in messenger apps it doesn't black out screen and doesn't change to earpiece
Edit: oh i just remember that had Xiaomi.eu weekly. Will flash stable og firmware and try again
Edit 2:. Yes that was indeed the problem. Thanks for the rom

New build is up, with buildin anxcamera. Both vanilla and gms build.

Hi! I'm coming from another rom and want to flash this one. I was wondering would I need to go back to miui and then flash or could I just flash it over the one im on now?

It depends on which rom you came from, if it's lineage or PE, then you don't need to go back to emui. In fact, just make sure your fw is V13.0.4.0.SKMCNXM

Alright thanks. I appreciate it! Just flashed and this rom is amazing. Thanks so much for your hard work.

New builds up,.
1. sync inkypen's anxcamera repo.
2. enable quick tap .
3. enable custom UDFPS icons and animations.
4. kernel merge 5.4.192

New builds are up.
1. Erratic proximity sensor fixed
2. Kernel upstreamed to 5.4.195
3. Firmware/vendor blobs updated to MIUI 13.0.6.0
4. Firmware is now included so no need to flash it separately.

So far a whole month with crdroid i must admit very pleased with the rom all parameters.
Nice job @xlagjn

Hi!
I love the rom configuration options are great and it's generally very smooth, thank you for your work!
But...
I have some problems with the camera - opening the camera app or using the camera in any other apps often causes the whole system to freeze. Sometimes it's just a few seconds delay but sometimes it also needs a reboot to come back to life. Do you have similar behavior? Anything I can do about that?

Hello,
I had the same troubles. After a while i got some freezes elsewhere, i gone back to MIUI. It's important to me to be able to open the camera quick as possible

It's true that anxcamera doesn't open fast, but in my case it doesn't have any bad effects, I have gcam installed at the same time and it's fine, just don't have 108m pixels. As for what you said about the camera causing the system freeze I have not encountered it, can you say what app it is?

For example NextBike app - you have to scan the QR code to rent a bike and it freezes when the camera is loading. Very annoying.

New builds are up:
June security patch
Change Kernel to inkypen's repo, upstreamed to 5.4.197 and latest lahaina CAF tag

Very Nice job but alarm doesn't work when I shut down the phone, sometimes the apn freeze.

Hi there first of all thanks for the rom this is the one I use to use with my other phones so I'm really happy with it.
But I have a problem. Android auto doesnt work and crash at startup when setting up with the car. Here are logs. Hope you can do something.
Thank you!

Here should be a better one. I did the crash twice in this one.
Looks like there is something wrong with permissions

Got it working by flashing non gms rom then basic NikGapps then android auto add on.
Freeze time to time but it works.
Must be something with your gapps integration.
Edit : made a simple kill AA app button on my home screen with tasker when android auto won't load. Maybe some other gapps can fix this tho.

Although its a nee ROM but its solid Daily driver material ROM. Fast , smooth and battery friendly. Also has delta updates to save your precious data. Devs are also fast in fixing bugs and bringing nee features.
Thanks for your hard work and bringing it to potter.
Amazing rom with snappy performance and least battery drain , Fp is fastest on this rom .
Gonna be my daily driver
Nice rom
Can some one tell me how I can turn off the option for "double tap on home for camera"?
The last time I tried flashing this (doing a clean wipe and install), it asked me for a password? What's the password please?

That means ur device is encrypted
First of all, thanks for bringing up this ROM. It is very fluid, fast and responsive. It has also basic tweaks that I need.
However I have met some issues which forced me to restore my backup:
- I can't play music from my SD card, Phonograph can't see it (even after pointing to right folder and rescan) or can't play it (it displays message or even hangs after some tries),
- alarm only vibrates with no sound (yes, I have set default ringtone in settings),
- sometimes notifications layout is messed up,
- navigation bar turns on after reboot and I need to go to settings and do off/on to hide it,
- finally CPU frequency is always at max; not a bug actually as scheduler is set to 'performance' but I don't know if it is the way to minimize battery drain.
I don't know if it is only me or anyone else has these issues? Anyway if they will be resolved I come back to this ROM.

Ok, great, thanks in advance for help.
So, currently I am on stock rom debloated... Should I flash some other pie rom first to remove the encryption and then flash this rom?
I am using the 2 gb variant of the Moto G5 plus. I don't have the cpu error. Personally, I don't use an sd card, so I won't be having any issues there. I have the nav bar error (comes back after a reboot). The only major issue (I don't really consider the nav bar problem major as its more of an inconvenience for when I boot my phone) is when trying yobwatch YouTube videos on the YouTube app, the video shows the loading circle but never begins playback. It worse when I tried it last night with each video loading almost as fast as I clicked them. I had Extended kernel flashed but thought that would solve my issue. I flashed the latest optimus drunk potter and still experienced the issues. If you could fix YouTube that would be great.

Currently using Pico Gapps. I think it is because I did a semi clean rom, as I wiped my android version but did not wipe my internal storage. I found that its not just this rom but Gzosp and Asop extended. I am going to wipe my phone and reinstall Baikal os. I think I solved it.

Same request.
Otherwise, I got another question,
I tried at least 5 pie rom, and all have a huge battery drain on my phone (all network off and no process, 25% waste on the night). I wiped yesterday and re installed an oreo rom a magically, no battery drain (1 % on a night with all network off) ...
So I don't know if I was very unlucky or if I missed something, but pie is a huge battery drain for me.
Here's my question. With all network off and doing nothing, how much battery your rom will use on a full night?
Thanks

Thank you for your continued support of v500!!!!
Edit: Dirty flashed from 4.7, SystemUI force closed at first reboot, no other issues so far after reboot.
Useless panic mode is finally gone, now I can tap the back button as many as I want!
Awesome. Flashing now...
EDIT: all looking great so far but tomorrow fails CTS & basic integrity. Any chance this is on your list? I really don't want to root... Thanks again @beroid
Thank you so much @beroid !
I hope you can fix the camera in future. But since it never worked on oreo it seems to be really hard to fix.
Is there a recommend way to use microG on this rom? For now I used the official Los 14.1 builds with microG included on my g pad. Any help is welcome
Thanks again!
Many thanks! It's the first of my devices to run Android 9.
I dirty flashed from Oreo & I had black screen after boot logo on first boot. Forced restart using Power & Volume Down & everything working perfectly.
Everything running smoothly & the ui is very beautiful. Feels like I just bought a new tablet
The brightness slider is not calibrated though since the first half is just about 1% brightness, but it's not a big deal.
Please add an option for Network Traffic on Status Bar.
Here's a little video I made showing the ui:

Thanks a lot :highfive: :good:
Sadly no go for me. Even flashing just the ROM itself caused my V500 to boot loop right after getting to the home screen. Clean flash by the way. Perhaps I can try a dirty flash later on.

Already running 3.2.3-0 which I believe is the latest. Unless if there's some unofficial version that is more up to date on things than the official version that I'm not finding via XDA and Google search?

I clean flashed with stock opengapps and had no problems at all. Seemed like an incredibly long first boot but set up worked and haven't had any issues.
Also clean flash here, NO problems whatsoever ! :good:
Formated user data, system and dalvik cache
Flashed Rom, gapps and magiks
All like in the installation documentation is mentioned.
My tablet installed all very fast and booted quick in to new android 9. Perfect ROM!
Thanks to beroid for his heroic work.
Just donated via PayPal, I hope a few more will do that ?
using cdDroid with microG
So I finally had time to Update from LOS 14 (microG version) to CrDroid 5.1. I made a clean install and used nanodroid to patch microG.
Results: Rom is really smooth and battery life is great. Only problem: It seems that integrated signature spoofing is not working actually. From what I've read this problem is affecting most custom pie roms. I hope this bug can be fixed in future.
Other than that a really great experience for now. Except signature spoofing and the mentioned bugs in op everything runs perfect for now.
Thanks again beroid!
Looks like it might be something kernel related that's not working on some of our V500's. I just tested BR Kernel 2.0 which is for Oreo ROMs. It booted just fine and runs fine except Wifi doesn't connect to the Internet (and more than likely no camera). I've tried dirty flashing with no success as well.
I try twice to install. When arrives to wifi screen it reboots automatically
Before I'll go with my V500 - could someone, who already have this ROM, check if support USB-DAC still isn't working on-the-go?

Any thing that is not working?
Finally!
First of all I want to thank the developers. I use this ROM since the Oreo version.
I'm using the Pie version for a few days and the only big problem has been the battery that unloads too fast compared to the Oreo version, even with mobile in stand by. 20% of the battery ends during a dawn... When I use normally the screen ends in only 3 hours (while in the Oreo version ended in 4 hours).
The camera is good for use (without delay when I open the app), nor delay in the flashlight. However, in Footej the phone freezes if it connects the flashlight with the camera. Audio recording in camera is low... But I'm not sure.
I know nothing about the native camera.
The ROM is fluid. Again, compared to the Oreo version, there is a bit of a delay when opening applications, but it's not a problem.
To install this ROM you must be in the Oreo Stock ROM. This avoids bugs in fingerprint and probably in camera.
Again, congratulations to all developers.
Please share screenshots.
How many pre-installed applications does this ROM have?
Nice Rom But Quickstep app is keep stopping after booting . please fix this issue
This ROM is very fine but have some issues with LTE and the camera. Thanks for sharing and I hope you fix that.

I don't know what types of problems you face in LTE, but if you go "Set preferred network type" and put "GSM/WCDMA/LTE" (this setting is not native) it might get better. When it was just LTE the connection was mostly 3G for some strange reason.

Consider uninstalling Magisk from zero and installing again. In my case, I flashed by TWRP and then installed it by the app on Play Store. SafetyPatch makes my ctsProfile true.

Yes, I haven't say that safety net patch not worked on the contrary it works by me too, but if I reboot and it starts the system I get a message with internal system error, it's annoying, because it is possible to fix this in the ROM.

Same problem here, this module really does fix the problem with SafetyNet, but every time the system starts I get this error message.
This does not happen to me when I reboot system, guys. I do not know, but the way I proceeded was: 1. Flashed Magisk in TWRP; 2. For some reason, after flash, Magisk app did not install (my system did not show Magisk app); So 3. I installed the app on Google Play; 4. I finally installed Safetypatch and solved it -- ctsProfile, in case.
Does this happen with all modules? Did you try installing an old version of Magisk?

Have you chose the treble one or the 64 bit one?
Hey, thanks for the rom! I installed it yesterday and found some minor bugs:
- LiveDisplay doesn't work for the night mode;
-WhatsApp photos are buggy with colours and rectangles appearing.
If anyone knows how to fix it, I would be very happy
Thanks!

I meant that this ROM is a purchase incentive for the X3 - i.e. PixelExperience is so good that I might buy the X3 if the feedback for this ROM release is good.
So keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to your first users' feedback posts. :good:
Everything is working great, except for the auto brightness , it seems to be too aggressive and constantly keeps changing brightness of screen

I will look at this
Which app is working for FM Radio on this ROM?
So far working good for me!
I haven't done much testing, but the only small bug I noticed is if I'm watching a video on YouTube, press full screen, and then try to rotate the phone to view in landscape fullscreen, it exits fullscreen mode.
Shout out for the good work with this rom!
My experience (no pun intended) so far is surprisingly good. I was expecting at least some bugs that i've always came across with even PE stable builds in my past devices (unreliable proximity sensor during phone calls and BT pairing with iDrive 6 with the MiA1, RN5, MiA2 and RN7), but no. Everything seems to work just fine for my surprise. Thanks a lot!
If i install this on my poco x3 nfc will and if pixel experiance will get an update will i also get the update?

No, at least not for now.
When goes official to your device?
Does google pay work without Magisk? It passes safety nets? I don't need root.
Hello, actually on latest miui rom, followed the steps as told on the given link, on first post, but it's buggy as hell on the setup steps at first launch, dunno if it's only me, but here what I did:
- installed latest orange fox recovery (alpha 6)
- booted on it
- flashed latest miui eu through recovery (12.0.3.0.QJGEUXM)
- reboot to recovery again
- flashed pixel experience rom
- factory format (The format data step is not so clear, I tried only the data partition as well, with or without flashing dalvik)
- reboot to system
When I'm at the system step, the "search for updates" usually makes the phone reboot, it's taking a loooooong time to pass this setup steps.
I finally managed to pass the setup steps, but it took me more than a hour to pass this.
I'm pretty sure it's a pebkac, not the rom at fault or else, so if you have any idea on what was my mistake, I'm taking any advice here
PS: Also tried with twrp, tried to flash mieu eu rom from recovery, and from fastboot, etc...
EDIT: Also, thanks for reading my question and for the work here, I love pixel experience rom, would love to have it on this phone

This was when I bought the phone. After I updated to latest (original)

Thanks for the reply Already tried too :/
EDIT:
Found out the issue, it seems the eu vendors were the culprit, when I flash the eu vendors it's buggy as hell, with the global ones it's ok :/

You need to click assets and click the zip to download from there, clicking on the title doesn't do anything.

thanks i download the right rom and it work perfect very fast thanks
I have been using this rom from 3 days ... Its a really great ROM ... Thanks for developing such a nice ROM .... its very close to Resurrection Remix ROM in terms of customizations available ... A couple of bugs found are ... the charging current is not shown on the lock screen while the mobile is being charged .. The lock screen and navigation bar pulse only works while the mobile is charging ... The accent picker is not present in the wallpapers menu ... and I would like to suggest that native call recording sould be included in the ROM plus a system firewall like in the RR ... Besides these, its very stable. Calling, Wifi, Bluetooth, smart pixels, signature spoofing, rooting works fine. Battery time is also reasonable.
some pics of this rom
I have found a couple of more issues ... If you are on the speaker phone the dailer app fails to dail and at times crashes ... and if a contact is saved with country code, its name is not displayed and if you remove the country code then the CLI works fine
it looks like the best so far after installing it, the nabber works (only difference with ricedroid)
After a couple of days it gave me several permissions problems which prevented apps from working, that I could fix, and threw a "flashlight cannot be used - camera in use" bug, then boot looped on restart.
Also I'm curious about the SElinux not enforcing thing on lineage, is it linked ?
EDIT: bugs become a problem after a few hours
Hi, thank you for this ROM
Can someone please confirm that the smartwatch is able to pair on this ROM? As of right now I am on LineageOS 20 and am not able to pair the smartwatch.
Is there any update coming??? Its a great rom ... Please solve the phone dialer app issue ... The voice isn't received sometimes when we are on the speaker phone ... Plus if battery time can be improved?
Hi, are there bottom lockscreen shortcuts available in this ROM?
I had tasker change them in my previous phone and forgot to turn off the profile when I restored tasker.
Now I don't have shortcuts on my lockscreen, but don't remember if they were there before.
Also, can we somehow enable 2G with this ROM?
Edit: other than inputting *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer
VICTORY: Google Releases “disable 2g” Feature for New Android Smartphones
Update: This feature is only available on certain phones running Android 12. So far we have only confirmed it is available on the Pixel 6. Last year Google quietly pushed a new feature to its Android operating system allowing users to optionally disable 2G at the modem level in their phones. This...

Also, the internal phone speaker (used to hear the caller's voice) is either stuck on max volume, or it's lowest volume is very high.
Anyone figured a way to lower it a little? It's called in-call volume I guess.
