Question Stylus and keyboard support on custom ROM - Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro

Is there any news on custom ROM's support of stylus and keyboard?
The keyboard and stylus is buggy on my MIUI, and I want to find a better solution.
Thanks.

Best ROM for this use

Hi,
It's great that the TG01 is finally getting the ROM's it deserves, but whats the best WM6.5.5 ROM, that supports the HTC G Sensor (Accelerometer) and doesn't use sense?
Thanks
As far as i'm aware none of them support HTC G-Sens.
If your afte something with no sense imo its between Nokser and November5. I tend to alternate between the two as new releases arrive, but i am a flash junkie.
I did have a rom with some kind of g sensor support, as I played hell loads of accelerometer games for HTC's, but I changed it a little while ago.

[Q] HTC Keyboard on Galaxy S3?

Hey a quick question, has anyone been able to get the HTC keyboard mod to work on their S3 properly? On mine it's really small, pushed up against the left of the keyboard area rather than filling the whole keyboard area which is quite annoying >_> lol
Been so used to that keyboard now it's pretty much perfect, hate the ICS keyboard that doesn't even have the punctuation on the letters section of the keyboard...
Thanks for your time.
+1 I'm using the HTC keyboard on the SG2 .it's just superior. A port would be brilliant!
I know it isn't what you want to do, but there is a version somewhere in the Galaxy Nexus themes and apps section that works, you might want to try looking in there.

anyone prefer old keyboard?

So my first post! I'm on this website all the time and having had 10+ droids its time I made an account!
Any who, I posted this thread to say one of the reasons I bought the note was because the huge keyboard, after the 4.0.4 update Sammy changed their keyboard and added numbers which made it too small for me lol, anyone else prefer the old Sammy keyboard, is there a way I could get it again?
I haven't tried the Sammy 4.0.4 keyboard, as I've been on CM9 since before the official ICS update.
I suggest you search 'ICS Keyboard' in the play store. It's basically the AOSP keyboard which is much better than the Sammy one from GB.
Try out Swiftkey. In my opinion it is the best keyboard for Android.
I prefer the stock ICS/JB keyboard to the samsung one. There is less lag and the voice recognition works better. Try "rapid keyboard" from the market which is basically the JB keyboard ported to be compatible with ICS.
change to the android keyboard already built in and be done with it
The Samsung keyboard has the S-Pen button on it. I want a Samsung keyboard for that reason. The ICS one is smaller, I want the larger buttons from the Gingerbread keyboard. Anybody know how to get this, preferably on a non-rooted device?
The keyboard is one of the many reasons I went back to GB.
Agreed. I miss that keyboard. SwiftKey is pretty good as well.
After updating my note to the ICS I still prefer the old keyboard. I don't use the newer one.

Click to collapse
I like the GB board also ....
But use "smart keyboard pro " with ICS ....g

[Q] CM10 vs CM9 vs ICS Touchwiz -- BEST S-Pen Functionality??

While the i717 certainly has a ton of great features, the features that stand out the most are probably the reasons to stick to this phone. And those 2 things are A) the screen size and B) the S-Pen's functionality.
It seems that B) can kind of get lost with the different ROM installations. I plan on doing field-work with the SPen and depend on its accuracy,...so while ROMs like CM10 nightlies are great, I'm trying to know which ROMs have kept up or improved the functionality of the S-Pen, allows for calibration, etc.
All suggestions and/or links to other conclusions to this are welcome.
if you want spen to fully function you have to stick with touchwiz. i recomend trying each tw rom in dev section as they all are good but diff people like diff features and diff phones react diff to diff roms.
thanks, i'll check them out. right now I'm on CM10 right now and will move from it permanently as a last resort. I tried G-Note and I have papyrus and I like the functionality of both, especially G-Note. But my problem right now is a lack of calibration in LANDSCAPE mode while writing. WIll CM10 ever have this ability, or probably not?

Good mini tablet (7-8") with custom ROM support?

Hi.
I currently have a Nexus 7 (2013), which I'm very pleased with, but it's beginning to show its age.
However, the ROM support for Nexus devices have been terrific, and I wonder if there are any similar and newer devices with as good ROM support?
I have a few criteria:
7-8" screen - must be a "mini" tablet
Soft keys only - no hardware keys
Sim card is not a must, but would be nice
Any ideas for a good mini tablet that fits the above criteria, and has good support for custom ROMs? I really liked SlimRom, but it seems defunct now, sadly...
