Did you have to do anything to get it working? I’m with Telus and tech support can’t help with 5g nor volte

Please see this guide: Link
By flashing mbn file, you can access full functionalities your carrier provided (except Rogers, fido, chatr, cityfone). However, due to band differences, please don't expect full speed 5G internet in Canada on this phone. From my test, Rogers 5G is slower than its LTE on my BC72 (it's not the internet issue because I tested on an iPhone).
I checked online about the band information for the US version of Xperia 1 iii, all the 5G bands in Canada are supported so technically you can have a better experience than me.

It works on mine. I'm in USA
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk
Xperia S works perfectly fine in the US. I'm getting HSPA+ as we speak.
Sent from my LT26i using XDA
Can confirm that it also works using 850 HSPA on Telstra in Australia.
I was a bit worried when I ordered the phone due to conflicting information, but all is well!

No English??
I'm using Cricket but when I put the SIM into the new phone it halt the service. I need to call CS to re-activate the service.
I also checked on ATT and Cricket's web site said the phone is not compatible.

Modem from 1 to 2 was stitched, but it works not correctly, I had to return my native
The image of the modem is saved from two phones, it is possible to port B1 in a modem without B1?
Xiaomi Redmi 8 A similar processor, the possibility of porting the modem?
Good Morning Yan,
I have no Rakuten Mini phone. I hope to be of help, though.
According to Rakuten, there are three versions of the Rakuten Mini phone :
https://network-mobile-rakuten-co-j...ec.html?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=fr
Click on "Supported frequencies" to have all details.
The third version, with serial numbers (IMEI) 351676110682491 to 351676113417929 does not have LTE band B1, but it has LTE band B4.
Rakuten also says here, that "When adding frequency bands to the design [...] the number of frequency bands that can be supported by mobile terminals is limited. Some frequencies etc. have been deleted."
If you just add B1, you may have too many frequency bands.
It is my understanding, that you used an older version of the modem file. This should remove B4 and add B1. But I may be wrong.
Please check that you deleted band B4 to "make space" for band B1.
Please keep us aware of your progress.
Have a nice day !
Cobus.

Question Xperia and Xfinity (Verizon MVNO)

I am very interested in moving away from Apple, and would like to purchase the Xperia 1 III. My carrier is Xfinity (a Verizon MVNO). Their website only shows Apple, Samsung and Pixel phones as being compatible with their network. Would a Sony phone be compatible? It seems strange that Google and Samsung are supported, but no mention of Sony. Thank you!
with sony not being a popular brand for smartphones, i think that’s why they’re not listed. from all i have read the phone will work just fine on all us carriers, t-mobile, verizon and att. again from what i have read, att might not get 5g.

LG G8x carrier aggregation, add, edit, modify, help.

LG G8x carrier aggregation, add, edit, modify, help.
hello everyone, I have the sprint G8x, I changed the firmware to a free variant of panama, my operator works in band 4 and 28, according to the link:
LG G8X (LMG850EMW) | 4G/5G Bands & Combos
4G & 5G Bands, Carrier Aggregation and Dual Connectivity Combinations for LG G8X (LMG850EMW)
cacombos.com
I currently use the g850em, should I flash the g850emw? I don't know if someone is in my same situation, I've been looking for information on how to add more bands to make the most of my operator's services.
If anyone has any help I would greatly appreciate it.

I was seeing that in a xiaomi forum they use QXDM to modify the CA2 band, as most operators use only 2 bands for LTE-A/LTE+, could someone verify if this is possible?

It is similar to the cross flash procedure that is done to change the sprint firmware. I hope your support colleagues.
