Question Is there any way of expanding the height of the notification shade? - Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

I have a Samsung Tab A7 Lite and the notification shade only takes half of the screen. Is there any ADB command or any way of expanding it's height so more notifications can fit?

yeah, my old tab show fully, but why this tab only show half screen

I think you should try with DPI 598 which will give a little extra by working more like Android Smartphone than Tablet else you should use it in landscape you won't be able to see extra space then xD

I use the latest Android on a Galaxy S7 Active and my calendar event rows are centered instead of left justified.
It is much easier to see the date/times lined up on the left column.
I just updated phones and am having the same issue.

Overscan issues and how to solve them

I ran
Code:
adb shell wm overscan 0,80,0,0
But in some apps like whatsapp or my launcher it creates an additional border that I don't want. Is there anything I can do against it? In the attaches screenshot it's black.

Additionally, is there any way to change the color of the overscan? I would like it to be black all the time, not have the color of my notification bar.
Last but not least, swiping down for my notifications stopped working. Any fix for that?

How to change the distance between navigation bar and icons in LineageOS?

Does someone know how to change the distance between the two borders that I marked in the screenshot?
I'm compiling the ROM for my phone and this amount of empty space is too much for me, so I'm trying to tweak it.

A small update, I can't just drag and drop icons in that area that I marked in the screenshot.
The grid size setting for the launcher was the answer.
