Question Wrong CSC After Flashing With Odin - Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

Hi, I'm trying to change my CSC to XME (Malaysia). I downloaded the files using Frija. After flashing, my phone's CSC is now XXV (Vietnam) instead.
`XXV/XXV,XXV/EUY".
Note that I am unrooted and I'm trying to change the CSC region by using official firmware so I can still keep my Knox and warranty intact.
Wondering where did I do wrong? Help is greatly appreciated.

Update:
I've managed to change my CSC for Android 12.
When you flash a multi CSC firmware, it seems to be defaulting to a CSC which in my case, is the Vietnam XXV CSC.
I found a free tool that could change the CSC called SamFw FRP Tool 2.5
All I need to do is flash it with Odin again and when the initial setup screen shows up, go into an emergency call and type in *#0*# which will take you into the test mode.
After that, use the tool to change CSC with the tool then complete the rest of the setup on your phone.
P/s: Samsung Pay does not seem to work. When I add a card, it says invalid information when authenticating with the bank.

Hopefully the FRP tool is from a reliable source. The error message could mean the opposite. Normally the CSC from multi region is selected by the SIM cards country. Did you have 2x Malaysia inserted on first boot after flashing? Also there are dialer codes that bring up a menu to select a specific region, I think best chances are with Google phone app. You would need to search for these codes for your device.

Samsung Pay in german, CSC is EUX fix, 5 minutes
Hello This also works with most Samsung phones If anyone is struggling with Samsung pay being in German and has the csc being EUX, I know how to solve the issue and it only takes about 5 minutes. Basically the csc is set to EUX, which is the new European standard, but for some reason, Samsung...

Another update, Samsung Pay works after I register with another bank. It was the old bank's fault. Not the phone or CSC region change. The CSC region change worked for Samsung Pay as well from the very begining.

[Q] Importance of CSC?

Sorry guys, I know this is a really stupid question, and I have tried searching around, but I don't seem to understand what the importance of the CSC is?
My phone was originally from O2 on PAYG, and recently I updated it to KE7 using odin since O2's firmware wasn't out. I didn't do anything to change the CSC, but the debranding guides seem to recommend this. Does not changing my CSC to the XEU or whatever have any effect?
Currently Kies says my phone's CSC is KD1 (O2U). I tried using the *#1234# method to find out my phone info, but nothing comes up in the stock dialer when I enter it. The numbers simply disappear and nothing happens. Is this by any chance connected to the fact that I'm on generic firmware but didn't change the CSC?
CSC has an influence on the phone's product code, it's like the version of your firmware. Your product code and CSC will change when you debrand it to a generic firmware or any other firmware for that matter. So your CSC is most likely to be changed already, if it hasn't then do a system reboot by going in to recovery mode.
Does it matter that I haven't changed my CSC to match my generic firmware? Are there any compatibility issues in this situation?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
CSC says in effect UK phone use UK settings + list of UK network providers settings .
There are no compatibility issues if it finds your network .
If it works leave it as it is .

What does changing the CSC do?

Hi, I've had this doubt for a long time, and I'd be glad if someone could give me a couple of quick answer. What does the CSC affect, and what does changing it do?
Right now using CheckFus it says my CSC is i9300UUBBLG2, and after doing a quick google search, it appears to be from Mexico or Trinidad&Tobago. Being from neither, why does my phone have that CSC? Just by chance?
Also, being in a country where all phones are carrier-unlocked, would changing the CSC to a specific one benefit me? Would having any in particular be better?
Thanks!
At the time of purchase, the phone comes with a certain firmware installed and a certain product code.. When looking for an update with Kies, you are proposed an update only under two conditions: first, the trio PDA-MODEM-CSC must correspond to a firmware officially released for your product code; moreover, it must be available an update for your same product code. CSC (Country Sale Code),
If you install with Odin a firmware different from those that Kies would allow you to install, you're changing the product code. If the firmware that installs and however journal, Kies will continue to suggest updates (if available) but linked to the new product code.
In this way, however, make void the warranty: this is in fact linked to your IMEI, connected to a certain product code at the time of sale.
The CSC is not the same thing as the product code, but similar: the CSC is that part of the firmware that contains customizations (preinstalled applications, icons, sfond .To change CSC uses this application https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sgscsc&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
CSC is the consumer software customisation and is specific to geographical region and carriers. It contains the software packages specific to that region, carrier branding and also APN settings for data connection, MMS etc for your service provider.
CSC has nothing to do with what languages the firmware supports and it will not add keyboard language support either.
Its not an update code nor is it actually required to operate the phone .
CSC is part of the codes that are presented to Kies if you use the official update path . Part of not the whole code required to match to an update .
Kies has nothing to do with the IMEI code .

CSC change without root?

I bought SGS6E from polish operator Plus - with CSC PLS.
I found polish XEO (i was thinking that):
XEO-G925FXXU1AOCV-20150410142820.zip
flashed via ODIN. Everything went ok. But the CSC that phone show is... TPH for Portugal.
It is possible to change CSC without waiting for new firmware (good) for XEO?
Did you perform a factory reset in recovery as that resets the csc.
Otherwise maybe phone tools Samsung from the marketplace?
On the screen i seen
Appiled multi-csc. Csc appiled: TPH

Hey,
No way to do that. The problem is that even if you download FWs from sammobile that have different CSCs - based on my experience - they will default to something else. On my Galaxy Alpha which originally had XEH I flashed a XEF ROM and there was no way back. Sad but true.
The only good thing with the S6 is that with the currently available 5.0.2 ROMs you can still achieve root without loosing the warranty. And after root you can change the CSC and then can flash the original ROM which will NOW default to CSC you just set. But only if it contains that CSC package!
Hope I could help!
Cheers,
TT

I had the same problem first get your firmware from sammobile flash it through odin
then factory reset from stock recovery it will chose a random CSC but dont worry once you setup your new device go into the setting>backup and reset>factory reset. make sure you dont have automatic restore.
after reset setup device again then Open your phone’s dialer and type the following code with your device IMEI number: *#272*Phone’s IMEI Here#
it should automaticaly take to your csc changer screen pick ur one then install
hope it works !

How it works : on devices where dialer NOT shown up CSC changer (e.g.: 920F) :
Go to recovery, Dial up, Home + Power
wipe cache and perform a factory reset
next is important : power down the phone. NOT to reboot.
Power on in download mode: volume down+home+power buttons
FLASH for example : BTU :
G920FXXU3COI9_G920FBTU3COJ1_G920FXXU3COI9_HOME.tar
after reboot, it will be English, and If U go to recovery it will apply BTU.
Hope it helps
p.s.: It wont works with EVERY Firmware. don't know WHY. For example :
I wanted to flash after succesfully changed the CSC from TPH to BTU, so I wanted to flash XEH....BUT that resets to TPH after XEH flash.
So at least to BTU it works specially if you are in TPH CSC !
Can I change the CSC on an 925F to something non F? Currently mine is coded THR (Iran) and I wish to change it to something USA related. I'm hoping to activate Samsung Pay but from what I've read the change will require root which will trip Knox which won't allow Samsung Pay to work. Am I right?
Working for Galaxy s6 Edge in COJ9 ? If yes I will restore it
damm i wish i found this thread some hours ago ... same prob with G925FXXU3COI9_G925FOXX3COJ1_G925FXXU3COI9_HOME.tar as XEO CSC declared ...
coming from DBT -->> BTU --> trying jump to XEO with Firmware found by SamFirm , but failed.. every try it switches to TPH anywhere with CSC/Firmware i come from.
after read this thread i give up my trys
so go back to BTU and hope OTA Update to marschmallow comes next days ...
greetings from germany
So finally there is no option to install CLEAR XEO when you have brand? The same as author. Comming from PLS (plus) / TPL (T-Mobile) to XEO, and i get TPH For portugal.
Or meybe ishanmu and tiborprogmed way is working to have clear XEO with LTE icon?

Change CSC OXM

Hi i want to change CSC for my S9+ G965F/DS
My actual CSC is CAC/CAC CAC/PHN
CSC : G965FOXM2BRJ3
I tried to flash combination rom with odin but it failed
download odin 3.13.1., i've attached it below
extract it and run odin.exe as administrator
download the rom you want from sammobile
use HOME_CSC if you want to keep your files, otherwise flash the second CSC file
i think this should work
You will need sim card from country to wich one you wolud like to change CSC. OXM is universal multi CSC,and when you put that sim from that country it will ask you to restart phone and after that just do a factory reset and csc will be changed. Its only way without playing with combination files.Sorry for my english.

How to find CSC on brick phone

Just bought a samsung SM-N690F/DS. Newbie with rooting. I tried root but got stuck on SAMSUNG screen logo. I playing with TWRP and end clean whole the phone. I can only booty TWRP and get to DOWNLOAD MODE. I'M looking for the stock rom but i need csc code not sure which region my phone is? is way to find out...I find download mode...but not seeing anything look like csc code. Thanks for any help
Your phone can have any of the supported CSC codes, you just have to flash it.
For start just flash the latest and everything should go back to stock, use this link (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note9/firmware/SM-N960F/DBT/download/N960FXXS8FUC4/1511407/) or use frija for faster download speeds. It will show as Germany but it is universal(for exynos - N960F - make sure the F is exactly your letter, there are more linke N or U).
After that you should find your country csc code, you can go to this link and select your country(https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note9/firmware/#SM-N960F).
CSC codes are dependent of region(like country) and carrier(SIM network provider). You can choose a specific carrier or use your country(this should have all your country carriers included and no carrier bloat apps included)
