Question Has anyone tried making 120fps/120hz gaming work in the GT 2 Pro? - Realme GT 2 Pro

I keep reading that the GT 2 Pro, like other Realme phones, are stuck in 60fps gaming despite it being having a display with 120hz. Is there a mod that allows this? Has anyone gotten success on doing 120hz gaming?

Of course

How did you enable it? Aren't games capped at 60FPS in Realme UI?

I have tried with Wild Rift (LOL) and it's capped at 60FPS

there is an app called "setedit" in google play store, with it you can enable some apps to run on 120fps but as i said it doesnt enable 120fps in all games, all u have to do is find "peak_refresh_rate" click it, click edit value and then set it to 1

In RMX3301_11.C.16 version they added custom app refresh rate, so when you select high refresh rate instead of Auto select you'll see an option to change refresh rate per app and you can change your games to use 60, 90 or 120 hz, worked for me in Minecraft.

World of Tanks set to 120 Hz and the application runs at 60 Hz.
Spoiler: Screenshot
Edit:
I was able to set it to 120Hz.
I changed the default 120 Hz to 60 Hz, confirmed then put 90 Hz, confirmed the change and finally 120 Hz and confirmed the change. I launch the app and it runs at 120 Hz.

Game Tuner - General Android

Hello I would like to ask if there is a application like Samsung's https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.gametuner.thin&hl=cs I had S7 Edge for a month and I could control Resolution / Max FPS / Textures details via the application so I could set max. quality or maximal battery / performance and lock it for 15-20-30-35...60 FPS
It was just great... I also got Zenfone 2 720p version where for example Dungeon Hunter 5 looks like crap with low textures and low FPS. And I would like to make it look nicer.
Is there any way how to do that with similiar app to Game Tuner?
Thanks

Bluetooth 4.2 LE
Display between 4.7 and 6 inches
Resolution at least 1080p @ 60Hz display with 3ms or less latency and 5ms or less persistence. (Quad HD or higher recommended.)
OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan
Able to decode 2 instances of 60fps video simultaneously
Consistent 60fps rendering
Temperature sensors capable of reading device surface temperature
Probably the Honor 7 doesn't fit this list, but still wondering how is it detected when it's just an analog headset?

there will be an accompany app that needs to be installed for daydream idk if they will detect it using that, the headset itself should work with any/most vr games. i have a google cardboard and can get it working on a honor 6. the image quality is poor tho as the display is crap
Is the Honor 7 capable of decoding 60fps video?
i have no idea about that cant you download a 60fps video and try play it?

Youtube 360 videos at 60 fps work perfectly, I don't know if the specs assume more than that with the "2 instances of 60fps video"

vr splits the screen in half and displays two images at once, does the honor 7 fit the other requirements?

Display between 4.7 and 6 inches → 5.2 (Yes)
Resolution at least 1080p @ 60Hz display with 3ms or less latency and 5ms or less persistence. (Quad HD or higher recommended.) → 1080p 424ppi (Yes?)
OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan → 3.1 (No ?)
Able to decode 2 instances of 60fps video simultaneously → (Yes?)
Consistent 60fps rendering → (Yes?)
Temperature sensors capable of reading device surface temperature → (?)

Thermal throtteling when playing pubg

Why is this happening? I'm playing on lowest settings except I set the resolution to 1080p and fps to 60 fps. My room temperature is 30c and the phone gets up to 60c when throtteling. Setting the resolution to 720p changes nothing.
60c holy ****!!! Do u charge while u play? I play at smooth with extreme fps (60) i get 40c-42c

I would try to check the battery settings and see which 3rd-party apps is second to PUBG battery consumption. I'm not a gamer but I've experienced better battery runtime after replacing Messenger and Facebook with their lite versions, this also translate to better thermals. Also try reinstalling PUBG or if it has a repair function, use it.

Realme 6 Camera Slow motion FPS disappeared.

Hello! I have problem with slow motion effects. When I choose Slow Motion, I can't see the FPS changing option on the screen. Before there was like 120 / 240 FPS option. Now it's gone.
Do you have same problem ? I think it disappeared after Updating Realme UI 2.0.
