Battery replacement for Voyo Vbook i7 Plus - PC Hardware General

Hello, I have 3 years old Voyo Vbook i7 Plus which is still performing well except for the battery. It used to give me around 8-10 hours backup initially which currently dropped to about just an hour. I have to replace the battery but I am unable to get one due to restrictions on import from China. I tried other options like freight forwarding, etc but nothing works.
Can I use battery from Microsoft Surface or any other particular brand/ device which I could get in India?

Motorola powerhog ruining my life

I bought a Motorola Atrix some 2 years ago. I mostly kept it as an ARM machine for Linux development for that architecture.
I've had enough of carrying around a Nokia N95, it bulged my pockets and it looked very embarassing to walk around with it.
So I started using Motorola Atrix as my primary phone.
My first impression was that this phone eats throught the battery in just one day while left on idle! This is crazy! My old N95 could easily idle for 6 days until the battery needs to be recharged.
So far because of that, I have missed out on several job interview calls, almost all family calls and a few calls from my girlfriend.
This is rather irritating now and I can't get back my old N95. I sold it and chances are I'm not getting it back. I'm stuck with this behemoth.
Can someone please recommend me a remedy? I'm looking for a new battery, but the only ones I see are only worse or just as good as the one this phone came with (BH6X, 1880mAh). I have no idea where to turn for help and solutions
Welcome!
Thars a common issue with all new smartphones, besides that, you are comparing a dual core 1ghz phone to.an n95.. it's almost like comparing battery life of a core i5 notebook vs an atom netbook
You could turn.off anything that is not essential, as gps, mobile location, mobile data, switch to 2g, unninstall some battery hogs like facebook, well, the list goes and goes

[Q] bigger battery compatible with thl W100?

Hello,
I made my best to optimize power consumption on my THL W100 phone, I use Juice Defender, wifi, 3G and Sync deactivated, Ram used is about 450/950Mb.
But I wonder if the problem doesn't just come from the battery itself, and if there is any bigger battery compatible with this device, THL keeps answering they will inform me if it ever happens, but won't suggest any tweak, so here I come with the hope that someone has made some hardware tests on this device ^^
Thanks for your answers,
Hi, I just ordered through Aliexpress a kps 2250 ma/h battery. I'll give it a try cause after two years and four months I recharge mine a couple of times a day.

Replacement battery

I searched the forums and someone posted once before about a replacement battery, but never got an actual reply. I have a moto x force in UK.
Long story cut short, I took it on a plane and it went down hill and died. Did many many tests and tweaks, definite battery.
I have searched the net and can find x-longer replacement fb55 batteries, but these are rubbish batteries I have found and only 3540 mah. I found this one in China (very dubious) but thought what the hell, my moto is a paperweight anyway.
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32736294085.html#autostay
I am awaiting its trip very slowly around the world to find out what rubbish I have bought, but in the meantime has anyone else needed to replace their battery and if so where did they get theirs?
Oh I tried Motorola but as I unlocked my bootloader they won't repair for money as they don't touch unlocked phones. Guessed warranty was void but never realised they would not even help for money. They also won't supply batteries to the public. Their only advice was to take it to a "offline store" whatever that is...

You need to find some shop, where they sell and fix smartphones, very possible that they can do that for You way cheeper as Lenovo/Motorola. You need look around, ask friend on Facebook, etc.
Droid turbo 2 batt
search US ebay store there is one original battery available (used), with international shipping.
Sorry, don't have one
Do you have access to Google? Just Enter Turbo 2 battery - many choices. eBay, Amazon, all 3900 mah
Battery part number is FB55. When ordering off AliExpress, ePacket is your best shipping option. It's EMS priority for $5 or less, in most cases. Turkey post is a few days slower, but also very good. Standard shipping takes up to six months. A messenger has to swim those over.
I ordered a couple of these batteries from AliExpress as well. Also waiting. Some story by shippers about the holiday season doubling turnaround times. 5 days to get to Canada, then two weeks to process and deliver.
All reviews I found stated that the battery worked well. We'll see.
Hi all,
I've a Moto X Force EU xt1580 and a dead battery (phone shutting down with battery error logo when power is less than 50% and it's cold weather…)
I want to change the battery, but FB55 seems to be fore xt1581 or xt1585 models. Is it the same for xt1580 ?
Both Amazon and AliExpress dont have official battery. Is someone have experiences with Chinese batteries ? Some says that it's 4000mAh. is it real ?
Thanks all !
XT1580 (Global), XT1581 (China), and XT1585 (Verizon United States) are different versions of the same phone. They all share the same parts and accessories. You can give this one a try:

The proper battery should give you capacities of 3550 (typical)/3760 (maximum), which is the OEM spec. I recommend avoiding any batteries that claim a higher capacity than I listed.

Battery Dying

The battery in my phone has started to die without warning between 5-40% charge. End of the line? Options? Thanks.
My ok, it still reach 2 days (or 1 day with full use) you can try to replace just the battery youll need heat gun, suction cup , and set of mini screws, you can find alot of tutorials on you tube,
if it worth for you (battery cost about 30$ i think)
after replace the battery youll lose the water resistant ,
2nd option you can carry power bank with you

What water resistant? Mine after a brief exposure to rain had water in the headphone jack and for 2 days was vibrating like hell and messages with "headphone connected" / "headphone disconnected" .
The so called "water resistant" is a piece of crap and a big lie!
Also my battery is going to hell, but not like yours. It just go to 0% much faster than before. After two years of normal usage (with bootloader locked btw) i hardly get one day of battery. When it was new i was getting two days also.
I have had a long series of Sony Erricson phones, but the Z5c is the biggest failure until now. The previous phone (a Xperia SP) still works perfectly with battery still going for 3 or 4 days (normal usage and almost no gaming), and this after approximately 7 years of usage and hardcore gaming in the first 4 years of its life.
I was a big fan of Sony Ericsson phones (since the T28) and loved them since the P900, but now i`m seriously thinking to switch to Huawei phones. They are a lot better then Sony right now, in every way possible (yes, including cammera ).
I'm in the same situation: after 3,5 years the battery is slowly diying, sometimes the phone switches off at 10%.
When i use Maps, the battery goes down 1% for 1 minute. Apart from that, the phone still works fine and it's in good condition but Sony wants to charge me 75 euro for just replacing the battery! My 7 years old Galaxy S2 has had a much longer battery life compared to this Sony...
The problem is that i don't really trust third party batteries from ebay or chinese sites. Has anyone had a good long experience with batteries bought online?

Same problem: my battery was dying, could barely get it to do one full day (basically, only by not using the phone).
Replaced it myself with a Chinese one from Amazon at about 18€: so far everything's good. Can't vouch for battery long-term duration, of course, but in 15 days it has shown no visible degradation - and I have longer SoT than I used to have when the Z5C was new (to be fair, now I'm on LOS with kernel undervoltage optimizations, and not on stock OS).

2018 Battery Thread

Since Anker is no longer producing Note3 batteries, what batteries is everyone using and are they any good?
PowerBear Note 3 Battery. Perfect to me

Has about doubled my battery life. Really great. bought one for my wife and equally happy. The production date is said to be 2017 and the battery seems real fresh to me .

I have ordered a second one from them a month ago. First one lasted me 3,5 years (original one from Samsung died after six months) and is still holding charge pretty well. I got 4 hours of sot easily with 3,5 years old one. With new one 7-8 h. Very satisfied with them.
I bought battery made by Duracell over 6 months ago from Amazon. So far so good.
I have learned to avoid the "OEM" claimed batteries and still think Anker batteries were the most consistent I have had very good luck with

OhmniPax

I ended up getting a "4500mAh" MPJ branded battery off eBay for twenty bucks, as the better options up above don't ship to where I am at.
Appears to work about as good as 2 year old 3200mAh Ankers.
Identifies as 3200mAh as well.
1/3 refund commensurate with discrepancy no questions asked.
I guess they have to lie to stand out enough to even move a single unit.
Still using the original one, it still holding charge pretty well after 3.5 years of work (last 3 day, normal use)
Here's my anecdotal response.
I've used Anker batteries twice in my Note 3.
The first one started to fail, and was clearly bulging after about a year, so I disposed of it at a location allowed for battery disposal because I could literally see the OEM samsung case bulging from it expanding. It was never dropped, or exposed to extreme temperatures, and always in the samsung window case, or the otterbox defender (which may have increased the heat level without me knowing, but that's just speculative so take that with many grains of salt).
Having used Anker batteries many times before, I assumed the first replacement could have been a knockoff, or just from a bad batch, so I replaced it with another Anker of the type. Both were purchased on Amazon. I have had absolutely no issues with the second one, though I do feel the phone get warm when updating my ROM, etc, but that's to be expected. Aside from that the battery life has been very good, with a year and a half of use on it, and I never get concerned about daily use, out side of plugging it into a charger when doing gps/music for a long distance. Even without being plugged in, it stays pretty solid.
Full disclosure for my usage: I'm a light user during the day, aside from calendar, weather, 2 email addresses set to push, and 2 email addresses set to 15 minutes, a few texts, dropbox, drive, onenote, and google all on manual sync, and few phone calls. I'm also on lineage 7.1, rooted, xposed, and bloatware removed or blocked.
TLDR, my current Anker replacement works very well for my needs, but the first one did begin to fail to the point of it looking like it might go into a full failure at a dangerous level, so I can't be sure if it was a knockoff, a bad batch, or just bad luck.
I am using 6400mahs battery from ali express..gives two days easily
Trying Powerbear
Ordered a Powerbear last night directly from their site last night as that ended up being cheaper than Amazon. Hopefully this will allow my 2013 Note 3 to function a day with medium use.
Update: The Powerbear battery is working well. It came with instructions to fully charge and drain the battery a number of times to allow the system to calibrate things correctly. After following that process, I'm now easily seeing a day of battery life with medium use.
im still using my note 3 rooted on kitkat with the original battery 3200mah last all day at least
I'm using a new original battery that i got around 6 months ago. I get 5-6 hours screen on time.
OEM Samsung (if you need NFC)
I have always had the best performance with Samsung-branded OEM batteries. Some after-market batteries do NOT have the NFC antenna, so no NFC services . . .
One caveat though, watch out for used Samsung-branded batteries that are re-labeled to look like new. I had an instance that the battery I received was used and the case dented. The silver-black Samsung label had the corner near the bottom of the battery slightly folded back and crinkled. Also the electrical contacts showed signs of heavy use (wear and scratch marks). Luckily, the Amazon merchant replaced it with a genuine new Samsung battery in the original plastic case.
The prices seem to be getting better but eventually Samsung (or their OEM partner) will stop production (or maybe already has stopped), then the prices will be stratospheric . . . YMMV as always.
Trusted brand..sun global 3650mah capacity
But with no nfc
Im looking N9005 Battery +6400Mah with all resistance and good rated by users what do suggest;
