My QTek 8500 died, pls help!!! I can't rewake it

Hello Guys,
I was trying to unlock my phone, then I made a mistake while I was following a procedure sent by one of my friends to unlock the phone, I confused a L with a 1 and the phone switched off.
After this, I am not able to switch it on again.
I tried to recharge again it, but the led flashes red and then that's it.
I tried to switch it on in many modes, but it doesn't, the screen is always black and I cannot flash again it. Also I tried to hold the camera button while I connect to the USB, I tried to insert the microcard with the starimg.nbh file, but it doesn't switch on again.
Anybody can help me? the cable I am using is original. Do you think it's completely dead??? Thanks a lot for the help.
no replies,... lokks like I have to throw away my nice phone

[Q] Could you please help? Major problem

Help please. I'm basically in a boot loop with no recovery. Idk what I should do or if its possible to make a warranty claim.
Hey guys I'm in a boot loop of some kind. I'm not an advanced user of this stuff but idk what to do at this point. So this is the situation. I have a X10a from at&t and its rooted with busybox and freex10 recovery or whatever. I had a default 2.1 ROM and flashed the offline recharging thing. My phone seemed to work fine but then my battery died out. For a while I've had recharging problems with my phone either my cable is messed up or the usb port. So anyways after it died out I tried to recharge but I was in the 3x red flashing light problem and accidentally broke my charger cord, but continuing I borrowed my friends cord and still had problems so knowing my usb port is kinda broken i just left it there. After about 2 hours my phone majestically starts up lol. So I decided I wanted to put on xrecovery just incase and My computer wont read my phone. I try everything from takeing out my sd card to restarting my computer to reinstalling pc companion like 20 times. So I tried a factory reset through the phone settings and ended up where i currently am in a boot loop. It turns on and does the sony ericsson thing then does the boot animation then my phone vibrates and the screen darkens and my buttons are lit up. It has been like this for about 30 mins so far. I tried restarting my phone by taking out the battery and taking out the sd card/sim card.
Sorry for this being long but this is my situation. Could you please help me out? I Don't know if I can do a warranty claim or anything I'm desperate so please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Also if there is anymore information you need please just ask.
the boot loop problem sounds like a wrong baseband issue, as for the usb problems you're experiencing I'm not sure how to help you there. Hopefully someone has an answer.
Just install stock generic 2.1 with Flashtool!
Install stock firmware through flashtool
Please hit a thanks if u r satisfied...
you can also use Sony`s SEUS to flash to stock 2.1. easiest way to return to stock
Yeah but my computer can't read my phone. I think it's because im using a HTC usb cable instead of the one issued by sony ericsson. That or my usb port on my phone is broken. Lets hope it's the first one. I'm gonna get a new cable soon

I think you need to install the SEUS program by Sony Ericsson and has a download link on their website to get the phone drivers. Try it if you haven't tried it.
Sent from XDA Premium from my X10a rooted running 2.2.1 Pure CM Rom from kxhawkins
Had that same problem when I first flashed my phone. Either SEUS should do it or flashtool.
Is your computer picking up anything at all? Is it trying to recognise the phone at all?

[Q] bricked phone

my phone is dead! suddenly it turn it self off and didnt wake up any more...
i tried all the button combination without success , and i ordered a factory cable and again nothing happened when i plug it in, when it happened my phone just lie down on the table next to me, not in a middle of a flash process , my question is i had root on my phone and a different official rom from the one i got the phone with, i want to send the phone back to the store, i afraid that if they fix it they will see that i have root and different rom, someone sent the phone with root? what they will do? charge me? any suggestion what to do?
Have you tried charging it?
Also if it won't turn on even with a factory cable that would mean that the phone is screwed. Therefore they won't be able to turn it on and see that it rooted an ROM'd.
Hope I helped

[Q] Bricked, does not turn on..

Here's the situation:
My sister did something bad about her phone(x10 mini pro).
It has a newly installed stock rom (the phone used to have cyanogen but she told me to revert it back to stock).
She told me that all she did was install SonyEricsson Xperia Flasher on her machine and used it to flash her x10 mini pro. The flasher tells her that it is succesfull but when she turned off her phone for a restart, the phone does not turn on anymore. I have tried charging the battery overnight as well as using a different working battery but it does not help. Pressing the power button does nothing. No led light, no vibration, nothing. I have also tried different button combo(tried almost any combination) found here in forums but it does nothing as well.
I bought this device to a tech guy which is in a mall and he is charging me Is there something else I can do to fix thing device without spending? Is there another way other than unbrickin it with JTAG?
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Edit:
SEUS does not help because the phone cannot be detected when plugged in because it doesnt turn on and yes, I tried using a different usb cable.
I think my sister flashed the wrong kernel.
Does the battery charge (green LED)?
Do you know someone with the same phone? Try his/her battery. I had this problem too once, it would not turn on or anything, untill i tried to insert another battery. Then it started up and all. After clear battery stats, it worked again with my own battery.
This gives me the assumption, that is has something to do with battery stat (doh') - therefore all guides about doing a SEUS or other stock flash, should also instruct users to do a clear battery stat before the stock-flash.
Any one correct me on this if i'm totally wrong

The Experia Flasher is not for the 2010 devices i think, so she may well have flashed the wrong firmware. SUS doesn't need to detect the phone, if you choose update and it can't recognise the phone it offers a repair option, this lets you choose the model yourself, it will download the proper firmware and all you have to do is connect your phone in flash-mode (ie hold the back-button while you plug in the usb-cable).
But she may well have bricked it properly and in that case, JTagging it is the only option to get it back up and working.
Screen-shots are from the old PC Companion, byt they still looks very much like them in the new version

It doesnt help because when Im in the part where it says, press the back button while inserting the usb, the phone cannot be detected and so the update cannot continue.

Or you can probably use the Nokia Care Suite for reviving a dead phone.

This Nokia Retail updater is so much easier to use. Keep in mind it is designed to be used at the retail store counter.
I was stuck the other day for almost 5 hours, it was a painful process lol
Anyway thanks for this, surely would be a huge help the next time it gets bricked
Requires WIndows 7 or 8
You will get a mysterious failure (blah blah "InternalError") if you are on XP
just boot to recovery mode and use Nokia Retail Updater or Nokia Care Suite to recover your phone...
you'll need to download the firmware files first of course.. simply refer to any unlocking guide for more information & downloads
hard brick

"I was trying to update Amber for att&t 920 with Rogers firmware" - using which software? or was it OTA?
For unbricked your Nokia Lumia, you can also use [How To] Download and flash all Nokia Lumia Stock ROM.

1. in case when battery level drop almost to empty phone automatically shutdown to prevent brick... in that case dont try to turn on, you will brick it... connect charger, leave few minutes to charge (and if not turned on already) press and hold Volume minus and power buttons together until phone vibrate. release buttons and leave phone on charger....
2. if phone bricked, try restore it with Nokia Software Updater for Retail or Nokia Software Recovery Tool
3. if nothing helped, go to Nokia repair service...
3. If nothing works, try [Tutorial] Unbrand (flash) Nokia Windows Phone 8 before sending it in for repair.

Hi,
My Lumia won't respond to anything (NSU, NSU->”My phone does not startup or respond”, Nokia Care Suite->recover phone, volume down + power button,…).
Already leave it charging for several hours. Can’t have any reply from the phone.
Here the scenario. I downgrade it to the first OS version with success, because I bought a touch on AlliExpress, that won't work with WP8.1. After downgrade the new touch works. I was trying to see in which version the touch stop working, but the flash upgrade failed (I was using NSU to upgrade it). After several fails I canceled the process and now the phone is kind of dead. Can start it and the only thing I see Is a QHSUSB_DLOAD (Nokia Emergency Connectivity).
Anyone can help me with this? I can I get my phone to respond to NSU or Product Support tool for store?
Thanks

I have my phone for a year now, and non of the above problem appear. knock wood3X

some solutions:
- try software reset... put on charger, leave 5 minutes and then press and hold Volume minus and Power together until vibrate
- hard reset: hold Camera + Volume down + Power
- also hard reset: Press Volume DOWN and keep pressing it while you connect the charger until you see an exclamation mark!. Press in this order: Volume UP - Volume DOWN - POWER - VOLUME DOWN.
- try repair flashing firmware with Lumia Software Recovery Tool http://download-fds.webapps.microso...covery/LumiaSoftwareRecoveryToolInstaller.exe
