Question [CLOSED] Can't Turn On My Device After Flash via RSA - Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2

After flashing with RSA my device won't turn on.
First the process failed, after replacing the data cable the flash process was successful.
But after I try to turn it on, my device won't turn on.
Can anyone help?

Try to explain what happened first, so we can try to help you.

Hold the power button until it vibrates or resets. The device is in EDL most likely.

I think your only option is to restore it via RIFF JTAG... I don't know another way...

If you haven't done it yet, pull out the battery, put it back in and try to get into bootloader or recovery. (the pulling out the battery part is important)
by the way, what exactly is happening when you try to boot? please describe step by step what is happening. And what do you mean by boot "into hboot"?
And how did you try to go back to stock? Did you even get into the stock rom. Didn't you just forgot to flash the boot.img when going back to stock?

to flash a rom I
1. Switched off my phone,
2. hold power + vol down (to boot into bootloader recovery), just blank screen no boot.
3. hold power button + vol up, again just blank screen no boot.
4. when us connected led lights up, and PC detects as "unknown device found".
not booting at all.

but did you remove the battery and put it back in or not? If so and it still does not want to go into bootloader, it really is bricked.. Bring it to a service center for repair..

That depends, if the device doesn't even shake, then it's not the screen.

[Q] Tried rooting, stuck on downloading screen

Hi,
I tried rooting my S3 I9300 this morning and it seemed to work, but when I tried opening titanium, it said my device wasnt rooted properly, so I tried rooting it again but my phone is now stuck on the 'downloading...Do not turn off target!!' screen. My computer, Windows XP 3, wont recognise the device when I connect the usb cable.
I have no idea what to do from this point on.
Thanks for any advice.
Press and hold the power button until it switches off, boot into recovery and factory reset.
If that doesn't work then flash a stock rom with odin.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply to my message. I was unsure whether turning the phone off during the 'downloading...do not turn off target!!' screen would cause any damage. As it happens, the phone seems to be fine. Thanks again.

Yes, turn your phone off and connect it to pc by pressing volume down. This will activate flashmode.
Shut off your phone by pressing Power button + Vol UP button. Switch it on again and try to see if you can boot the phone successfully.
What is "cmd"?

You must first switch it off by pressing POWER BUTTOn + VOLUME UP until you hear 3 vibrations. This will switch off the phone if it is stuck in bootloop or not responding.
after that, tell me what guide did you use to root your phone (give me the link)

the one that made me failed to root was, it failed to load the 2nd file, it said "couldn't load system-rooted.img", and it failed.
also i've tried to enter the recovery mode, but i couldn't, coz ofcourse it needs power to run, but every time i charge my phone it automatically go to the boot animation and stuck

I don't know at which step you got stuck but if you want to access recovery you can try switching it off (POWER BUTTON + VOL UP BUTTOM) and then, turn it on and when you see yellow light, keep pressing the VOL UP button.
However, don't follow that guide.
Follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/general/summary-tutorial-root-sony-xperia-z5-t3360515.
Just exclude step 6 and to backup TA partition just click on tabackup.bat (on Windows).
Here's another guide but for Z5 premium: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/general/guide-sony-xperia-z5-unlock-root-tweaks-t3298224
Have you already unlocked your bootloader right? If you haven't unlocked, remember that it will delete EVERYTHING in the internal memory

bricked sony z3v (can only access fastboot)

usually when i mess this phone up i am able to use the companion to flash it back to stock. i tryed to flash magisk and now the light flashes when plugged into a power source and the phone does not turn on at all. if i hold volume up while turning on it boots into fastboot mode because i see the blue light and i was able to use flashtool and its fastboot tools to flash system.sin from stock firmware but that has not made a difference. i have tried to get it into download mode(upgrade mode) by holding volume down but it continues to boot loop. if the device is not plugged into power and i hold volume down and power it boots into recovery and i click both safe mode and factory reset but both turn the device off. any ideas?
ths is far from beeig bricked. go into twrp recovery and flash new rom. this should work.

i held the button in the sim card slot until the phone vibrated but what's next? i tried the companion and flashtool but the only thing it lets me do is flash the system, which does not fix my problem still, what is that button?

the only recovery available is the stock one that says power off, safe mode, continue boot, factory reset... none of them do anything....this device does have a locked bootloader, it uses a recovery like many motorola's do... its a software recovery so its gone lol
You should be able to use flash tool to flash the proper ftf file for your device. That is what you are trying to do right?

So, if you hit the flash button on flashtool, tick the flashmode and after preparing it asks you to power off your phone and plug your USB cable into your computer and then press the volume button "down" while plugging in the USB cable to your phone, It should enter flashmode and start a automated flash. This is not working?

I'm not understanding how it is bootlooping. Your phone should be off (power off) when holding down the volume button and plugging in the USB. Is your phone powering on at this point to bootloop? If so you might have hardware problems Is all I can think of.

the phone started bootlooping after flashing that zip. so that rules out hardware, and when i say boot loop i mean lights flash screen stays dark..im trying to figure out if there's a fancy way to fix this through fastboot
depends on wich ftf was used before and bootloader some of them can enter flashmode just by put on the otg cable
It was running 5.1.1 and it boots into fastboot when I hold volume up, but just lights and virbates when holding down for upgrade mode
Same problem. z3v, accidentally flashed a wrong firmware zip via TWRP.
Now if I push the power button, nothing happens.
A long push causes a short vibration and nothing else.
Yellow rest button does not change anything either.
If I connect it to the PC, the following happens: Red led lights up briefly, phone vibrates, green led lights up briefly; whole sequence cycles after that. Now the only thing I can do from there is hold volume up for a couple of seconds, then the phone enters fastboot mode. Blue led lights up continuously. Flashtool sees the phone in Fastboot mode.
However, where to go from here, I cannot see. Any advise?
I had this problem once. It might be your usb cable try a brand new one that rated for data also not just charging. I was trying to root my phone at work and it wouldnt work and when I got home I tried a different usb cable and it worked.,

I am no closer than when I posted this, until there is a bootloader unlock witch in theory can be done through fastboot, we are s.o.l.

aaa,It's very easy.you can use flashtool to flash a new system. but you must be in green light.only it.you also can be flash.sure,if your phone can't get into system,it only loop at"SONY".You touch the power and the volume up and down. keep 7s. then the phone will get into 3E RECOVERY,you chosed power down.and then the phonwill be power off. Now you can flash you phone.
If you phone can't get into green light.you can use the tool Z3X easy tool to save your phone.or it will be a brick.
my phone cant be start.it have became a brick. Good luck

Power off completely, hold only volume up and plug into a power source. This will get you into erecovery mode. Choose *Update and recovery* and it will download and Flash the latest update for your device, you shouldn't even need to wipe or anything.

i did tried it but for some reason it still failed to flash the latest update i'm so frustrated.
Go to a Huawei Service Center and have them fix it.
