[Q] Trying to update att htc one from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2

so over the last few days I've tried everything i know to update from 4.1 to 4.4 i apparently don't have any software updates available but i do have a rooted device and its running TWRP so i went to ARHD but i cant flash the file there for some odd reason it doesn't install the OS I've updated to the latest version of TWRP to no luck and that's the only reason i knew it wasn't giving me a OS i used to be in 4.5.0.0 and that would get me stuck in a loop of bootloader if i tried to restart. Any help is appreciated and I am kinda new to flashing files so don't expect me to understand everything XD

Error 7 after downgrade to 4.4

I have installed gohma 2.3 custom rom with twrp recovery and root and have taken gohma-gwatch-1.2 to get back 4.4 stock with stock recovery and unroot.
After that I clear all inside the recovery to have a fresh stock without old data. I got the setup and the paring to the phone and after I check for an update the lg told me that one is available and start the download.
After it was finished the watch boot into the recovery and start the flash but aborth with an error 7 message
Can anyone explain me why? After I start the watch again the update told me that 4.4 is latest and there is no update available.
The OTA is from 4.4 to 5.0.2 but now I dont get 5.0.1 like before. Another watch work fine with this method but why this one not? Andy ideas please
Same issue here. Returned to stock on 5.01 and when upgrading to 5.02 I get that error 7. Tried everything, wiped several times but no way to install.
thats strange because my own watch work fine with the downgrade and changing the recovery back to 4.4 stock. My dad can use the watch with 4.4 but I dont understand this :crying:
Solved. Used RootJunky v8 to go back to stock 4.4 and then flashed OTA 5.02. Worked.
http://www.rootjunky.com/download/LG G Watch/Script Super Tools/LG G Watch Restore Tools V8.zip
but I cannot extract without crc error :crying: can you please do a mirror for me?

Thank you sir :highfive: , you just saved my LG G Smartwatch!!! i wasn't able to update to smartwatch to the newest android wear 5.0.2 update without getting error 7 on recovery, i was using the LG G watch restore tool v9.5 to restore my watch and kept getting the Error 7 when trying to update, so i stumbled upon this forum and decided to use the v8 of the tool instead of the v9.5 and it worked perfect, i was able to update my watch to 5.0.2 without any errors :victory: i will share this news with other users that are in the same boat as i was and will give you the credit bro... awesome find really!!!

Any possibility to downgrad from 7.0 V521_20f to MM

Hello!
I'm currently on V521_20f, I have successfully root the tablet before, but due a softbreack I reflash it with the same rom but when I tried to root it again (dirty cow method), it get stumble and stay unrootable, so please if there is any possibility to downgrade to MM and get rid of the Nougat (I already tried to flash V521_10e.kdz and the LGV521_10c.dz with either LGUP, and LGFlashTool2014 without any success )

Downgrade S9+ from 9.0 beta to 8.0

I have a verizon model SM-G965U (Snapdragon). A few weeks ago, I was able to follow this upgrade sequence to get Pie:
G965USQU3BRI9 to G965USQU3BRJ5
G965USQU3BRJ5 to G965USQU3ZRJ8
So now I am currently stuck on G965USQU3ZRJ8. I am attempting to upgrade it to the latest Pie release which is G965USQU3CRKD (November 19 2008). However, when I try to update the firmware via download mode / adb sideload update.zip, it fails because it expects the BRJ5 model.
So, my only option it seems to sideload the update is to first downgrade back down to BRJ5. How can I downgrade this firmware, or would it be easier to flash the latest updates via odin another way? I am clueless, please help a disgruntled user stuck in the wrong version of Pie.

You may install the required Android Oreo build first, and then update using ADB sideload to Pie.
This may help you - Download Galaxy S9 Pie.

That does not help at all. It simply repeats the steps I have already taken. If it were as easy as reversing these steps I would not post this topic. It was easy to upgrade, but downgrading is not as simple.
I already have Pie, I don't want vague upgrade instructions. I specifically want to go back to Oreo.
Use Odin to downgrade to Oreo. It's been covered many times in the beta thread. There should be a link in there for a lower version then you'll need to patch to BRJ5 and then the latest Beta.
