Good evening everyone!
One Plus Nord 2
Android 12 OxygenOS 12.1 latest firmware with OTA
No root, locked bootloader (i can unlock if required)
Unfortunately i bricked my Nord 2. I deleted stock dialer apk with adb AppControl and stuck in bootloop, i boot until PIN entry and then reboot again.
I have Full backup of firmware which i made with MTK tools (also tested, i can rollback to bricked state, i tried to flash clean firmware and flash back to previous)
Also i have backup of stock dialer.apk
I can boot to recovery, safe mode not help at all.
I have a lot of valuable data on my phone which i need to extract (music, photos, screenshots, videos, settings etc.)
I need to recover my firmware to booting state or at least extract all of the data and flash clean new firmware.
Please anyone help, which ways can i try to recover my current firmware or at least get my data from it.

I took this apk from my phone which is running oxygen OS 12 on Android 12. If u can specify the name of the app I can get the apk for you.

there is NO WAY to install APK back.
I am in bootloop, i need to recover my personal data.
If you know any way of installing apk back please share.

If you have got your phone rooted and you must if you want to uninstall crapware,download titanium backup from market and backup the apps you want to uninstall and then uninstall them.
Changing splash screen is a bit tricky.You have to get fastboot working on your pc,you may refer to the below guide,though its for mi 310 but will work for yours too

i have removed all the crapwares but unable to remove those links....... couldn't find it anywhere in titanium backup or any other system tool remover application.dnt kno what to do. when i click those links dey launch the browser

try to flash modified recovery(designed for Fly Blackbird/Spice Mi-350n) by this link
then you could make the nandroid backup of your ROM
follow the link mentioned above

Hey man. I have one as well but I asked an employee to help root it for me. I am still not sure if it's a full/true root and haven't spent enough time to check myself.
Drivers should have been loaded on the phone when you install it, at least for connection in normal mode. For fastboot and ADB, I don't have them either...

Thanx, i have downloaded firmware, but have troubles with Chinese romasterlab 3.2.1, what same part of menu you clicked for root? It will be very good if you make some screen shots or something like that.

I dont know about romasterlab 3.2.1 , i'm using 3.1.0
after the phone rooted, it will changes the wallpaper, and u got supersu inside the apps menu automatically

Rooted with ROMASTERLAB with the instructions given on page 1. It worked without any hassle
The speaker volume of this phone is very feeble (too low), though in headphone mode it is very good.
Installed Volume+ app, but no help. It seems the phone is having manufacturing defect or it is built this way.
What is your experience regarding sound in speaker mode?

my s870e crash, always stay in china telecom logo and can not run into android menu. When i try to flash using stock recovery, i can not found install zip from sdcard menu. that menu is missing. how can i fix my problem ?

Delete your Google account and sign in back Google should automatically load your contacts

Are you sure that you have saved all your contacts to Google account but not to local storage??? If yes I would suggest you to reflash gapps if you are rooted if not then a factory reset would help you out

hi sir,oic.......my phone is spice mi350,(SIMILAR WITH XT531,DOMINO),android version 2.2.2 rooted. very old phone.i dunno about custom rom. i am thinking tat maybe i have to get original contact storage.apk file. then only my phone will work.the one i download from internet not original . if anyone one else can get me the original file,it will be so nice. good hearing from you.:good:

any chance this could be done using download mode? im stuck in the setup wizard because of this damned error. im running the twrp beta on bootloader unlocked, rooted, ms330 (k7) 5 whole days old. i was playing with an app i ought not have. also for everyone else, adb is epic for everything.....

It is very easy to root with TWRP and SuperSU Root. Can you unlock bootloader of your phone ?
I don't know how to unlock bootloader? Can anyone help?
For unlocking your bootloader go to http://en.miui.com/unlock/ and register for unlocking.
Follow the instructions there. It's easy.
I asked for my unlocking last Friday and unlocked my phone on Monday when I got permission.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here but after installing new ROM (tried few so far: newest China, Global, EU and from MIUI kitchen) from TWRP and trying to install superSU RN4 is not passing first logo - I left it there before work and hours later still same.
I will like some one to explain if anyone have time: from what ROM did you start, steps to take to finally boot with ROM, TWRP and superSU.
I'm getting Invalid IMEI and it seems I have to have root to access Engeenering options and change it. Advices are welcome.

me too. had to hard reset. really appreciate to have very clear guide.
I managed to get root. Don't have time to do detailed tutorial but:
1. install ADB drivers and that also means you should have folder with adb and fastboot commands in it
2. copy TWRP from cofface (look for link with google) and copy in folder along with adb and fastboot
3. open folder where adb, fastboot and twrp, hold Shift and right click on empty space and click Open command window here
to check if any device is connected, connect phone and type fastboot devices, if doesnt return anything then you need proper phone drivers for wndows
4. put your phone to fastboot (turn off and hold Volume - and power until you see Fastboot logo) and connect to pc
fastboot flash recovery "name of the cofface recovery".img (in my case: fastboot flash recovery cofface_nikel_recovery.img)
enter recovery with {fastboot boot "name of the cofface recovery".img} or turn off phone, hold Volume + and Power until you see Mi logo and release Power and wait
5. Once in recovery: Wipe - > Format Data (bottom right button) and after that flash super-su zip file (I found BETA-SuperSU-v2.67-20160121175247.zip, working like charm) from Install menu
If you want to install new rom then order should be: install TWRP, then format data in wipe section (or advanced wipe, select everything except last two: microSD and USB storage), then install ROM zip from TWRP and in the end install supersu zip also from Install menu.
Reboot and wait. Could take 10 or more minutes.

2) Install the app (you may be prompted to enable unknown sources. If so, enable them)
3) Run the application
4) Keep pressing Install and Done for every Google Service.
For better compatibility, go to Settings -> Permissions and give all permission to Google Play Store, Google Services Framework, Google Play Services, Google Account Manager and Google Calendar Sync. You might also want to allow them to Autostart.

You DO realize that this installer is for the Mi Pad 4 running the original China Xiaomi MIUI ROM, do you? I would expect that it doesn't work for your tablet from a different brand, and actually you confirmed this right away...

I honestly don't know - the only thing I do know for sure is that I would never buy a phone or tablet with an mtk processor ever again. Once was enough, and I have left this behind me like two years ago.
