Question Non-working network on Xiaomi Redmi 10 2022 - Redmi Note 10

Good day
There's a similar thread open that I dont want to hijack. I would appreciate suggestions to get the network side of the device working again. After some reading I think I messed up NVdata by using format all on spflash.
I have the:
Redmi 10 2022 (I believe it is selenes)
Model 22011119UY
Original firmware was 12.5.2.0 RKUZAVC (Note this is the South African market (ZA) with carrier locked to Vodacom.
Unlocked bootloader, stock recovery, able to access fastboot.
I flashed vbmeta, boot and recovery images to install custom firmware. Originally the device was bootlooping with no access to fastboot or recovery. I bypassed the secureboot and managed to flash selene V12.5.20.0.RKUMIXM (global) with SPFlash, after which I changed the blank IMEI numbers back to those on my box. I can now access fastboot and recovery. The device states (NV data corrupt) at the recovery page and wont boot into system.
After this I installed the China ROM for the selenes (V12.5.2.0.RKUCNXM). The phone boots into system fine, but doesnt detect any simcards or the IMEI numbers. ENG rom sees the IMEI numbers but has no signal.
Is the issue perhaps that you need the original firmware for it to function? I dont have a backup of the original firmware and it looks like it is specific to the phone in this country.
Thanks
Edit 1:
V12.5.2.0 RKUCNXM (CHina) doesn't detect SIMS
V12.5.2.0 RKUEUXM (EU) doesn't flash at all with SP flash (fails after 100% DA right at the beginning)
V12.5.9.0 RKUINXM (India for 10 Prime) keeps rebooting after a few seconds in MIUI setup screen)

This kind of problem also happened to me. I tried to update my Redmi note 10 sunny (Global) via MiFlash from 12.0.2.0 to 13.0.10.0 but after the flash my phone always reboot back to recovery and says "NV Data is corrupted" . So I had to flash that old 12.0.2.0 version to get my phone working again.

- Are you sure that firmware is ok for your device?
- Did you try HuRUpdater tool?
Can you give us more info about your issue?

I tried installing C432 however had this issue since I tried installing that version.
I only want to get back to my original condition now.
- Which firmware have you installed? tried C432 which did not work also ended at 75% just trying to get back to C185 but sitting on a strange version now as mentioned in other threads
- Which firmware are you trying? Download from firmwarefinder C185 all three files for single sim I used
- Are you sure that firmware is ok for your device? Yes I am 100% sure I am trying the correct version
- Did you try HuRUpdater tool? I have tried numerous times

When you flashed C432 you should flashed first oeminfo from C432.
Did you backup your oeminfo before you tried install C432 firmware?
unfortunately not. I was not aware that I had too is there away around this for me at all?
I did use the file on HWOTA8

Check this only to confirm if the oeminfo installation is ok.
In the dial pad:

Do you see hw and eu?
Yes I see both

You are with C432 (hw/eu) oeminfo, so the C432 full firmware should be installed without issues and C185 should give you an error when you try it
Did you take oeminfo from HwOTA8? https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-lite/development/hwota8-huawei-p20-lite-t3787787
Your phone is single SIM or dual SIM?
Which method are you using to install C432 firmware?
Do you want stay with C432 or do you prefer go back to C185?
Yes used HwOTA8 for oeminfo (FYI my phone was stock with C185 )
New it was Single sim, tried to get to dual sim.
I used both HwOTA8 as well as the SD card method with HuRUpdater
I am happy to stay with C432 if I can get ota updates as per a normal phone. Currently the phone is showing dual sim however my imei is 000000000000000 , and suspect the carriers in South Africa are blocking the second sim from working so therefore I dont have any use for the dual sim on this phone Unless I can unlock the correct IMEI for the second sim? and have it working with ota updates it would be prize number 1.

As far as I know second SIM got IMEI null after rebrand from single to dual.
When you install C432 firmware with HuRUpdater it run to the end of process?
Do you see your build number in the settings show as correct one like in the pic enclosed?
It runs to 71% or 75% when verification starts is stops and says update failed and gives reboot option
When I try re-brand region I dont get a country option in HwOTA8 , would this affect it?

Not sure, but I have something in mind that is causing this issue, please check this path in the "Version" partition:
/version/special_cust/ANE-L21/hw/eu
Also if exist the folders cust_comm, cust_spec, hw_odm and hw_oem in the root of device
Check pics enclosed.
I assume I need root?
via twr nothing under version, nothing under root folder via twr
ok I managed to get into C432. I did the script and then sd card installation however i did not wipe after the install. seem to be fixed now. thank for your help and time mate.
Hi, i finally success rebranding.
P20 lite Demo ANE-LX1-8.0.0.(C185) (fastboot getvar vendorcountry --> hw/demo ) single SIM
to
P20 lite Europe ANE-LX1-8.0.0.136(C432) (fastboot getvar vendorcountry --> hw/eu ) Dual SIM (both of sim cards works but the imei of the second one is 0000000000)
1st. there is no need to repack the files go directly to option 2
- put your phone in fastboot mode with state phone unlocked and frp unlocked.
- choose option 2 press enter
- if everything is ok you should see that twrp is installed.
- Remove usb cable from computer and reboot holding power button + Volume up
- You should now boot on Twrp, connect the phone using usb cable
-You should see too options choose one for rebranding then choose your country and press enter
-it will copy new oeminfo to device then reboot
- now you will have system rebranded but in some case like mine if you go to system info you will see in build version something like that ( system.8.0.0(OSAV) ).
if you have this you cannot update your device anymore you have to install the correct firmware you choose for region.
to solve this problem.
- go to Firmware Finder and download FullOTA of your firmware (in my case i choose ANE-LX18.0.0.136(C432) FullOTA
-Download HuRUpdater_0.3.zip
-copy the HuRUpdater_0.3.zip file on sdcard in new folder no matter the name .
-Rename downloaded files as above:
update.zip not rename
update_full_ANE-L01_hw_eu.zip to update_all_hw.zip single SIM
update_full_ANE-L21_hw_eu.zip to update_all_hw.zip Dual SIM ( i used this in my case)
update_data_full_public.zip to update_data_public.zip
-copy renamed files in sdcard same folder as Hurupdater_03.zip
-Reboot the phone in Twrp mode
- Go to install and select hurupdater_03.zip and install it .
- Confirm installation by pressing Volume down. Do not do a wipe!
Hope this will help somebody.
Weird fact in all this.
Bought new as C185 Single sim.
I am only able to flash the C432 Dual, The C432 single, C185 Single and C185 Dual dont pick up.

Redmi note 4 snapdragon network lost with or without imei, baseband known or unknown

sorry for bad English
this is based on my experience , i am not a developer
I Am Not Responsible any kind problem, hard brick, soft brick, or any kind of problem
Just for knowledge sharing
Because of new rule of 35 rs recharge on every network provider except JIO, I want dual 4G so that i can run 2 JIO sim in which one will standby number but it is not possible in redmi note 4.
So i found some news/thread on internet about mi A1 that after latest PIE update it began to support dual 4g/volte (i was not sure about news) because MIA1 also run on same chipset snapdragon 625
So i take risk and thought that i can revert to normal if any problem occurred .
I downloaded MIA1 pie rom extract its preloader.bin and found non hlos.bin
then i flash mia1 ( Non hlos.bin) through fastboot on redmi note 4
i was in superior os ( pie) then i rebooted to system and no network showing , basenband known, IMEI1-0, IMEI2-As it was, but no network. so i again flashed original redmi note 4x Non hlos.bin then rebooted but this time phone not booted and boot loop occoured
so i wiped out every thing including internal and clean flashed superior os rom through orange recovery, but mobile on boot loop
So i flashed miui recovery rom and activate through wifi booted but no network, sometimes its shows both IMEI present)some times 1 IMEI ((without network on both case), also code (*#*#4636#*#*) radio on-off continuously and sometime always off ,tried ON but not success.
I did't have any problem on wifi or Bluetooth
Again flashed custom rom but any custom rom not booting
Flashed miui through FASTBOOT , EDL IT was booting but network not coming.
Also tried this methodhttps://en.miui.com/thread-545300-1-1.html and restore .QCN then write original IMEI but problem not solved
i found that when tried command on minimal fastboot fastboot erase modemst1 and fastboot erase modemst2 each time fast boot gives error remote partition not allowed tried platform tools also.
also tried to delete files from efs explorer of qpst tool .
then i downloaded mfastboot
and run command
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
and surprise its successfully done then i booted to miui enter to diag mode and restore .qcn and write my original IMEI and after reboot wow both SIM network back , checked base band , radio , IMEI all normal.
flashed custom rom and its booted normally and not faced any network problem ,wifi problem.
and problem solved
if this thread helped any one who is unable to solve network problem just by restoring .qcn or by anyway please press thanks
I did not understand everything, but to avoid this problem can simply be avoided by flashing the rom which is compatible with your device.
So, if you have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x and flash a rom which is supposed to be installed on the Xiaomi A1 or vice versa, then can you be so happy that you now aren't the proud owner of a quite expensive paper weight.
It isn't enough that you remove/rename etc two or three rom files or both are sharing the same CPU.
Most important is to avoid making the same mistake or a similar one and to learn from it.
And of course that quite pricey paper weight dismissing

"Moto E6 plus" lost IMEI & Baseband

Hi XDA community
I recently flashed AOSP & TWRP on my 2ram 32gb Moto E6 plus XT2025-1
I used the ROM for almost a month and everything worked ok.
Then for personal motives i decided to sell the phone and i tried to flash the stock ROM on it, but the problem here was that i used
SP-flash tools and selected the option 'Format and flash' so when the phone booted i couldn't select any SIM card, the baseband version got erased even when i try *#06# the window only display the serial number but nothing else (i tried 5 different SIM cards) and then i flashed the original stock ROM from the Motorola website using the 'Rescue Assistant' software, and same problem, no SIM no Baseband nothing, so i flashed the stock ROM that worked for me which was AOSP 10, but the same problem appeared, i've also tried to 'repair' my IMEI with the MTK engineering tool but there's no 'CDS' radio option, using "MAUI META" flashing all the "Moto E6 plus" baseband files i've downloaded on forums, flashing stock ROMs for my region, i've also seen that some people use a "box" but i don't have one so i would like to know a software solution for this please
PS: When i boot in fastboot and retrieve the barcodes the IMEI appears, and even when i type 'fastboot getvar all' the baseband version appears too, also i made a "TWRP backup" of the custom AOSP and that custom recovery loads the IMEI and baseband version but the "telephony" modules are inactive, i can't "touch" or select mobile network + the phone keeps displaying "No SIM", the phone hasn't received any physical damage (yet).

MTK imei lost after flash stock rom / TCL 30 XE 5G

So i sucessfully rooted this device maybe 2 weeks ago... however bricked it trying to modify build.prop ( i still dont know how to mount system rw on this device)
so when i didnt have the firmware backed up i kind of was stuck so i ordered a junk phone off ebay same model but imei was blacklisted i did a full backup of the firmware and was able to unbrick my original device.. however the problem i face now is that it also copied the IMEI number from the ebay one onto this one.... ive tried numerous imei changer apps , tried clearing nvram nvdata, all that stuff but still it has the imei from the ebay device..... Im not asking how to change imei number persay because i know that is frowned upon and iilegal in some countries... but is there any way to restore the devices actual imei??? its a MT6833 ( mediatek dimensity 700 5g k6833) TCL t767w (30 XE 5g)
do i need to erase all paritions before flashing to get my imei number back? where did i go wrong? when flashing the ebay phones firmware should I not have flashed a certin partition pertaining to the imei ?
any insight or suggestions i thank you in advance
I can't help you with your question, but if you don't mind how did you root the phone? I'm trying to do this myself with no luck. My phone doesn't boot in bootloader or fastboot. It used too when I first bought it but after ota update it went away
with correct drivers installed (mediatek) you can use mtkclient gui or mtk meta tool... basically have your phone turned off have the program running on computer and plug your phone into the pc and it should automatically detect it or you can hold down all the buttons and mtk client gui should pick it up, load it up, from there can unlock bootloader and , backup firmware, flash firmware and so on

Question I can't get the LTE and IMEI to work again on custom ROM after a Format All + Download and a restoration of IMEI 2 and LTE on engineer firmware

Update :
By flashing only the IMEI 2 I can make the LTE work on the engineer firmware but when I flash a custom ROM PE, EvoX, LineageOS (after a flash of the latest global firmware):
If I manually flash the modem firmware MOLY.LR13.R2.MP.V16.P21 the SIM is not reconized and IMEI 1 and 2 are unknown.
If I leave the modem done for the ROM the SIM is recognized but no LTE, phone call, etc
So... it's still not really solved, I found this solution on treads for the redmi note 9 https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...nally-first-method-to-fix-1-slot-imei.4258977 and https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-in-merlin-redmi-note-9-redmi-10x-4g.4258779/
The PE Rom of the redmi note 9 is visibly compatible with the engineer modem and that's probably why it works with this phone but not the redmi note 11S.
Original Post :
Summary:
I can't get LTE or 3G to work, I tried with several SIM cards that work on other phones.
The problem happened after a formatting and then a complete Flash of the phone with SP Flash Tool to get out of a Hard-Brick.
Issue:
With the Miui ROM, the phone starts directly in recovery and displays nvdata corrupted (doing a "Wipe data" doesn't change anything).
I tried to flash the nvdata,nvcfg,nvram,proinfo,persiste,protect1,protect2 of another Redmi note 11s with mtkclient I manage to start but the SIM card is not recognized and the modem is in unknown version.
On the engineer rom by not flashing nvdata, nvram, etc the modem is in the right version but there is no IMEI and I have no access to the internet and can neither make nor receive calls and SMS.
On the engineer firmware with Modem meta I can flash the original IMEI and the calibration parameters of LTE, WCDMA and GSM retrieved by myself from a redmi note 11s on which the network works with the engineer firmware as with MIUI and after all that I can receive calls but not make any, I can have EDGE but not more and the settings continue to mark "no service" and "radio off", the IMEI and correctly displayed in the settings and when I accept a call the HD logo is displayed, the VOWIFI works and allows to make, receive calls and SMS, note that the serial number displayed in the settings does not seem to be the right one, Everything else works.
On a custom ROM it is identical to the engineer rom.
Context:
My phone ended up in a Hard-Brick following a problem in the unofficiall pixel experience custom recovery (impossible to access fastboot, recovery and system after an "adb reboot fastboot" but Brom mode is accessible).
I used mtkclient to disable the Brom mode protections, I then flashed the firmware V13.0.3.0.SKEEUXM with SP Flash Tool but by ignorance of the software I used the "format All + Download" mode (which has the effect of formatting all the partitions including nvdata, nvcfg, nvram, proinfo, persist, protect1, protect2).
Then I was able to boot but the phone enters directly in a bootloop with nvdata corrupted which is displayed in the recovery, I tried a data wipe but it does not change anything, I used mtkclient to reunlock the bootloader and make the tests that I described in the problem part.
The phone is under warranty but I had unlocked the bootloader, the problem being due to this unlocking, the phone will certainly be considered out of warranty and if they follow their policy in french they will not repair it and the shipping will be at my expense.
After unlocking the bootloader with mtkclient:
I flashed V13.0.7.0.SKEMIXM, flash the unofficial custom rom of Pixel experience 13 with its boot.img, reflash the nvram, nvdata, nvcfg, proinfo, protect1, protect2 from my phone when there was "corrupted nv data" and wipe data with custom recovery.
Pixel Experience works really well, The SIM card is recognized, it shows my operator, baseband version but there is no 4G, SMS and IMEI, IMEI SV is unknown.

There is no way to do it without hardware tool ?
and I don't really understand what you are talking about, can you give me more detail ?
@tutibreaker I updated the original post you could read, even after flashing the IMEI with modem meta there is still no 4G volte and SMS whether on the engineer firmware or the firmware V13.0.7.0. SKEMIXM with pixel experience, SIM and operator detection, baseband version, IMEI, phone number works as it should.
I don't know enough about meta modem to know which option/procedure would make 4G, volte and SMS work again.
nvram, nvdata, nvcfg... from my friends redmi note 11s still doesn't detect the sim card and meta modem can't connect with.
I really need some help please.
I updated the original post again (and again), If someone could help me it would be really nice.
To summarize now I managed to restore the LTE on engineer firmware but not on custom ROM (PE, EvoX, LineageOS)
I have the same problem you can flash gsi but use gsi is sucks
Did you manage to fix it?
