Two system updates in one morning? - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

Woke up this morning to my T-mobile S21 wanting to install a system update, so I said OK, then as usual after a few minutes was able to unlock and click on the "update successful" popup. Then, about 10 seconds after than, it said it was downloading a system update and wanted to install it, so I said OK again. It also appeared to be successful, and fortunately hasn't downloaded yet another system update this time. Did anyone else get two updates in one morning like this? The current installed kernel says Aug 31 as the date.

mine did that today, first one said it was from AUG 1 (650mb approx) and the second one said it was dated Sept 1 (200-250mb approx).... and both gave me only choice to delay 2 days then they would force install.... i hate TMO, and wish i would of gotten the U1 software installed while i still could....

Same thing just happened to mine. Didn't notice any ill effects, but it was weird. And, btw, I have the U1 software installed.

Lookout for forced update!

Noticed my phone tried to force an update today while working, caught it with 4min left. I know there are issues with unlocked phones and roms and updating so i wanted to get a thread up here to let people know.
Update will FORCE itself, latest deffered time is 2/5/12, 4am (est for me)
So this should be a warning to apply the update in some capicity before you end up looking at your phone stalling out in the middle of a forced update due to bootloader/roms.
Woke this morning to my phone in recovery, it had done something but the update didn't go through. Rebooted back to my unlocked Rezrom 1.5 , later it tried again but I deferred it.

No data from WiFi or cell signal, might be SU problem

As the title says, I have no data from my home WiFi or 4G from the cell signal, despite them being shown as connected.
I noticed it just a few minutes ago. I was looking into Voodoo RootKeeper because I haven't updated to the latest OTA update and I've been wanting to soon, it was mentioned that SuperUser should be fully updated for it to work. While looking through SU settings, I noticed the option to set SU as a system app, so I did it. It rebooted and just before finishing the boot it had a message saying something about configuring apps (similar to what you would see after an update, I believe). Once it finished I was going to update some apps that needed updating and Play said it had no connection, checked Chrome and it was the same story. So here I am.
It is rooted, also has an unlocked bootloader (which is why I've waited so long to do the OTA). I haven't updated since I got it at the beginning of December last year, so the current version I'm running is 4.1.1
Any help is really extremely appreciated; my smartphone becomes a dumb phone without any networking, dumb phones make me sad :crying:
Edit: I fixed it, somehow. I temp-unrooted with Voodoo, tried to complete the OTA update (failed because of recovery or something), re-enabled root after update, and then I had data back. Leaving this post here in case someone comes across a similar problem.

problem with OTA, not rooted

So i bought a used Verizon S4 yesterday and it works fine. Last night it said it had an update, so i accepted before i went to sleep and this morning it said "software update unsuccessful"
Today i tried again to update, i downloaded the update, it verified the download, update available, tap to install, install now, it booted, said installing system update and then "error" about 5 seconds later and thats as far as it gets before it restarts the phone and says "software update unsuccessful"
The phone is not rooted (i used root checker) and is currently on I545VRUAMDK
Any ideas or suggestions to remedy this issue?
Plug it into your PC and let it update thru the Verizon app. Just realize once you take the update you will not be able to root your phone.
that worked, thanks!

G695U No longer working after the April 2020 Patch

Last week on Thursday, I allowed Verizon to install their Software Update 21 (April 2020.) It made it as far as the going through the optimizing apps and then was stuck in a boot loop. The phone would be usable for about a minute, then would freeze, and then reboot. If I clicked on the System Update option in settings, it would say that a system update was in progress. I chatted with Verizon, and they ended up telling me that the only way to stop the update was to do a factory reset, which I am doing everything I can not to do that as I don't want to lose my data.
I changed it into maximum power mode and it did stop the update for that time being and I was able to use the phone, texting, etc. This allowed me to at least connect the phone to my computer to backup all of the directories. After many reboots, on Friday it finally stopped doing the update and gave me an error which I think was 410. It thought it was updated, though did show as failed. When checking for updates, it said it was the current version. Twice I was able to get the phone to stop by freezing when going to the app and stopping some programs (sadly, I was not able to remember the exact combination that worked) which allowed me to use the phone like normal. All this while, I was uninstalling a large amount of the apps that I had installed hoping that would minimize whatever may have been causing the problem.
Went to each of the google and samsung apps, stopped, disable, and reverted them all back to factory defaults. Guess that was a bad idea, from then on I received an error as soon as the phone started which caused it to go directly into recovery mode. I chatted with samsung and they thought it might be a hardware issue. I still think it is related to their software update, so not a hardware issue.
By using Odin, I loaded the firmware from March 2020, and when it rebooted, it did go as far as optimizing the apps, though anytime it booted up, it would never get past the white verizon loading screen. It took me hours before I discovered that Odin was failing to load the firmware on the phone as the Windows 10 laptop only had USB 3.0 ports which don't always work with Odin, and ended up being successful using my old Windows XP laptop as the USB 2.0 ports worked fine. After a bit hanging on the verizon loading screen, it would reboot and never went past. I have been able to load the March and April 2020, though none of them will ever get past that white verizon loading screen. I did see something say that in loading TWRP, I could possibly do a full backup of the phone which is what I would like to do.
One time I only loaded the AB file for a different version than I had loaded, and it was the first time it went beyond the white screen, only to tell me that the verification failed and it would need for me to do a factory reset. I was able to reboot the phone without actually doing the reset.
I have read many posts here and the forums on androidcentral, and with so many things, I really needed to post to get guidance from people here that can point me in the right direction for any other things that I can try. As you have read, doing everything that I can to get the phone working by keeping my data. Any help would really be appreciated.

NOTE 10 - Phone Keeps Flashing "Same Update" Twice Everytime....

Ever since i bought this phone in March, every update is installed Twice! - Once i update any security patch, next day same update is pushed and i have to update it again for the notification to disappear.
Due to this my Phones Motherboard already have been bricked once...
Now - A new patch have been released and i updated. Again today i am getting notification to update phone.
PLEASE ADVISE
So you've replaced the motherboard once I'm assuming? Maybe you should try downloading the last version of the firmware installed and try a clean install?
