Question Hi. Where can I find a tutorial to flash roms on my Mi Pad 5 Pro Wifi ? - Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro

Good morning
I bought a Mi Pad 5 Pro Wifi version (without 5g) by ebay and it arrived with the bootloader unlocked and a global rom with my language (Spanish). I know it is not an official rom from Xiaomi. The problem is that it does not support OTA updates.
I would like to find some help about where I can find roms like the global one I have and instructions to flash it, or instructions to flash the CN version if needed, or Lineage OS .
Thank you very much for your help.

@radriarevlo Try this ROM. My device is Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G. I've flashed GSI ROMs but got many problems with hardware. So it's best for now to stick with Stock ROM which is CN version. With CN stock ROMs, I can still read and write in my local language by using Gboard. But the UI can be only Enlish or Chinese. No worry about Google Play Store. You can install it easily with GetApps that comes with the stock ROMs.

How to flash Global Developer ROM in Indian RED MI Note 3?

dear all.
I have Indian Redmi Note 3 ( Snapdragon version, 3 gb 32GB), I am on stock MIUI Global StableVersion 7.2.5.0(LHOMIDA) . I want to flash Global Developer ROM on this .
I have a few queries
Q.1- Can I directly flash global developer ROM through Updater App without any boot loader unlocked issue or should I unlock the boot loader first?
Q.2 How can I flash Chinese ROM? The reason behind this is that Chinese version supports CDMA data facility which is missing in my global stable version at present I am using TATA cdma SIM in SIM slot 1, wherein voice call and sms works without any problem but data is not working probably because MEID is missing in global ROM ,so i guess that Chinese ROM will solve this issue. )
kindly help
warm regards

With regards to your first query..You should go with the official way of unlocking bootloader thought it takes time ..some people who did the unofficial unlocking method ended up bricking their phones..I unlocked it officially then flashed twrp and flashed global dev rom
@vish9180- thanks mate. Is it necessary to unlock it?
Happy to help..It is...I didn't want to run the risk of bricking it like the other guys...so I went the official route...took me 4 days ..since I'm some what active on miui forum..participate in miui forum and they'll clear your unlock request faster.
I am not able to use wifi after trying to upgrade from global to developer rom please help me
Note i was unsuccessful to go on devoper rom with mi global rom yet but wifi stop working

Installing global ROM on Xiaomi mi 6

Hi experts. I have bought mi 6 from China which came with a Chinese ROM, to which I have now installed GooglePlay somehow. I now want to install the global ROM on it but there seems to be a problem. I have tried installing the available global ROM via the updater app on the phone (as mentioned on the website) but it won't allow me because the global ROM version is older than the present Chinese ROM running on my phone:
(GLOBAL: miui_MI6Global_V8.2.2.0.NCAMIEC_7f3f8ad7c8_7.1)
(Chinese: miui_MI6_V8.2.27.0.NCACNEC_e725f9829f_7.1)
Is there any way to install the global ROM without unlocking the phone? Fastboot ROM also requires unlocking the phone. I seriously don't want to unlock it...
Experts please advice what should I do?
Try using the EDL mode via the EDL cable. It should work on Mi series

Message on xiaomi site - authentication

Hello, i just bought Xioami mi pad 4 for 150eur in europe, i have been told that its from England.. I tried to verify authetification on xioami site, but it says
"Thank you for choosing Xiaomi!
However, the device you purchased is not an official global version and user experience may be affected. Next time, please purchase the official global version of the device through officially authorized channels."
Can anyone explain what this means? I heavily use tablet for 2 days, and everything is great. Just curious about message..
Also can someonw tell me if ita instaled last version of system?
Thanks in advance.
Mi Pad 4/Plus hasn't Global version. Only China version with xiaomi.eu like ROM.
Many China sellers use fake global MIUI as base system for sold devices. They unlock bootloader and install own rom. You can find some old posts about it and hints to replace this fake rom with any other custom rom or original MIUI. Maybe you have this rom in your tablet.
Xiaomi never offered this mi pad 4 official outside of China.

Chinese Device - global Rom

can i flash a global Rom to a chinese device?
Heard that xiaomi is going to block that?
Since im in China it would be a lot cheaper to buy it here
The only option i see viable is: open bootloader, install twrp, install miui.eu

Question About switching to the Chinese variant

Hi I'm sorry for interrupting but I really need help in here:
So I have a Redmi 10 2022 Global and I tried looking for the Chinese ROM and I find it but for the Redmi 10 which makes wonder is it the same? If so and if I proceeded with the flashing process will I still get updates after switching?
This the rom I found https://mifirm.net/model/selene.ttt#
Hello,
I would understand the opposite, but what is the real need for switching to Chinese version ?
I would stick to the original version, but here is a trusted website
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.

My problem isn't with the Rom it's about the ability to receive updates after switching to the Chinese variant so I'm just wondering is it possible to get updates after switching to the Chinese variant ?
If you did switch from the Chinese to the global version, were you able to download updates via updater without any issues?
