All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
IT'S TIME UPGRADE TO ANDROID 13!
Hello, I builded unofficial LineageOS 20.0.
this is experimental build. I'm daily using now, but I need more testers
This rom is discontinued because we have found no critical issues, that we have reached a level where "can use it regularly". and the my storage capacity issue.
How to flash?*First, I recommend you should back to the Google's stock ROM before flashing, to avoid some issues.
*this operation is WIPES YOUR ALL DATA. you must backup your data before flash.
If you're ready , you can flash it following steps.
power off, Hold the volume down button and turn on the power. your device will enterning bootloader mode.
flash boot.img and vendor_boot.img via your terminal: "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and
"fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img"
use volume button, select "Recovery Mode" and press power button to confirm.
then you will see LineageOS recovery, tap "Factory reset" then "Format data/factory reset", then "Format data" to confirm.
back to the main menu, tap "Apply update" , then "Apply from ADB". your device will standby sideload mode.
Now, sideload the zip file via terminal: "adb sideload lineage-20.0-20221030-UNOFFICIAL-bramble.zip"
after sideload success, you will see "Total xfer: 1.00x" in your terminal.
if you need Gapps and magisk, tap "Advanced" then "Reboot to recovery", and "Apply update" then sideload it.
tap "Reboot system now".
Enjoy
Issues
SafetyNet won't pass and this build is not signed. some apps (such as Google Pay, banking app) are not working. I recommend to install magisk and universal safetynet fix.
Pixelify module didn't work.

Unfortunately, you should install Magisk + SafetyNet Fix to working. Because SafetyNet won't passing and unsigned build.
Also recommend Shamiko, Hide magisk , enable zigisk , Denylist then It will be more certain.
My banking apps are working after this .

Thanks, will try it tonight. Cheers.

Sorry for the lack of clarity.
Step 2 are "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and
"fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img" is the correct command.
Good luck

Thank you very much!

I found it is incompatible with pixelify magisk module, i choose to install pixel launcher and set it as default launcher, but it crashes everytime i wake it up from sleep screen with fingerprint or pattern. any solution?

Thank you for testing.
I am not smart and do not know how to fix it at this time. Sorry I am not able to help you.
However, I will listing it in issues.
Please open the App Info of the Pixel Launcher and make sure all permissions are set.
Also, that is part of Google Pixel, so I believe Gapps is required for work properly.
Thanks.

i am not an expert user either, it is a great rom for daily use. in order to avoid this problem i have removed the module from magisk. everything works like a charm, and i found that i am not able to hide the trace in my pattern lock, is this option removed in android 13?

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. If you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Wiki for more details.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. If you use twrp it will ask if you want to install the twrp app. Make sure you tap "DO NOT INSTALL".
2. If you care about your stuff, make a backup in TWRP first, just in case. Transfer it to a pc, along with all your stuff in internal storage.
3. The newest vendor, radio, & bootloader img's are included in the rom zip, so no need to worry about flashing those manually.
4. Lineage comes with adb root that you can enable in developer options, but if you want root for apps, flash magisk in recovery (after renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip). Just don't flash it during initial lineage install, as it's known to cause bootloop if you do.

marlin rom: https://download.lineageos.org/marlin
sailfish rom: https://download.lineageos.org/sailfish

For normal updating from official 17.1 to a newer official 17.1, follow these steps:
marlin: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/marlin/update
sailfish: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/sailfish/update
Protip: Enable "Prioritize update process" in the Updater preferences to make it go faster
NOTE: If you're updating from my unofficial build to the official nightlies, follow steps here.
Alternative manual updating instructions:
1. boot into lineage recovery.
2. install rom zip.
3. if you use gapps or magisk, select the "reboot into recovery" option, then install those zips.

An easy fix, for anyone with the gmail issue, you just have to go to settings->apps->gmail->permissions, and allow permissions to contacts and calendar.
EDIT: I'll try to figure out the issue of why gmail is not being granting permissions automatically, like it should.
But in the meantime, i'll just include gmail in my builds. That way it has that right permissions and just works like it should. If you don't want the app, you can just go to settings and disable it.
EDIT#2: New builds are available in first post. One notable feature that was added is, network traffic monitor in statusbar. :good:
Note: I don't have a sailfish so that build is untested, but it should work fine. Please someone give it a try and let us know if it's ok. Confirmed, it's working good on sailfish too.

ikr, it was read only on the stock rom, immediately went back to Los16 lol
so, it seems as if there are no real game-breaking issues out of the gate?? I'm looking forward to trying this later but was holding off for some more feedback, so far it seems to be pretty positive... one (stupid) question... After flashing this can you easily just flash back to a PIE rom if need be, or once you go Android 10 you can't go back?
yes you can

yep, i did it the other day. went from lineage 17 to 16, with just a data wipe. no issues.
So device personalization services app kept crashing so I uninstalled it
also trying to enable black theme in settings makes settings app crash
Also had the Gmail permission bug thanks for posting the fix ?
Also why was twrp overwritten by stock Google recovery ?
I didn't see a warning about that anywhere in op
Note I did a clean install wiped all partitions but internal storage in twrp 3.3.0.0 before flashing rom and then magisk zip

Was anyone able to install Magisk?
Whenever I try to install Magisk I get stuck in a Bootloop at the Google Logo.
Doesn't matter if I do KEEPFORCEENCRYPT=true & KEEPVERITY=true in the .magisk for or false.
Wanted to test disable DM-Verity but TWRP is unable to mount /system_root (Neither TWRP 3.4.0.0 or 3.3.1 work)
My Phone has an encrypted Storage if that helps narrowing down the issue

Does that mean that you actually managed it to install TWRP permanently on a Pixel XL running the latest version on any Android 10 ROMs?
And what about when there's an OTA available. Do you have to reflash it then?
I'm seriously impressed, because TWRP themselves said flashing TWRP on Android 10 wouldn't be possible yet (at least on Marlin)
And last, but not least, can I put the pin/password/safety features back to activation after I installed TWRP?

When I flashed TWRP after installing custom rom my phone won't boot. I have to flash a stock image to make it boot.

Head back over to the TWRP screen on your phone and swipe the slider that says "Swipe to Allow Modifications" if needed. Now you should be sitting on the TWRP main menu where you can then go into the "Advanced" section. From there, tap the "Install Recovery Ramdisk" option, and finally, navigate to the "Download" folder where you copied the TWRP image file.
Tap the image file once to bring up the "Install Recovery" main screen and check the "Back up existing image first" option to backup your current recovery for safekeeping. Now slide the "Swipe to Install" button at the bottom to begin installing the permanent version of TWRP onto your system partition. After it finishes installing, press the home button, go to "Reboot," then "Recovery".

*EDIT*
Doesn't but "twrp-3.3.0-0-marlin.img" works following rodken's guide. Cheers!

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Thanks, gonna test it
Hi.
I test the rom and I have a problem with it. When I try reboot to TWRP I can´t. It stand in the TWRP logo and I can´t start no Lineage no TWRP.
I read that it´s a problem with Android 12 and TWRP.
Thanks for your work.

From notes in OP:
"Android System Intelligence app" crashes continually (every five minutes approx)
Tested multiple times with lineage-19.0-20211029-UNOFFICIAL-RMX1931.zip (downloaded from sourceforge webpage) with both NikGApps (omni, stock and full) and FlameGApps (basic, full). All partitions previously wiped from twrp and data formatted (clean installation). Personal data and apps restored from google backup. I've read in other forums it happens when receiving notifications. Could'nt confirm. Problem ceases disabling the app.
Great job and thanks very much for the rom!!!

Tested.
Beside some minor bugs it's overall good but the fact that it doesn't have signature spoofing permission is really annoying. I tried to use FakeGapps Xposed Module and it doesn't seem to work correctly (LSposed seems not to work) so it's impossible to get notifications using MicroG.
Could you please add support for signature spoofing?
Good enough to use as daily driver? I just downloaded 18.1 but should I use this?
So i noticed 2 things,
1) the lockscreen rotates if auto-rotate is on even if the rotate lock screen is turned off.
2) i dont get any vibration, in LOS 18.1 (your rom) it worked fine, altough i tweaked it a lil with franco kernel manager to be a lil bit more forcefull. It works while booting and while in twrp, just not while in the os. i tried testing it with an app where it didnt work either.
If i should upload a log would i just use matlog for example, and do you want it tested with notifications or with an app?
Im currently running the linked LOS img, the latest NikGapps Core and the latest magisk canary build, no further modifications on the system. For installing i followed the instructions besides using the latest official twrp build instead of the provided OrangeFox Recovery (i had problems mounting the data partition with that one) and i came from your latest LOS 18.1 build without formating the system partition or reinstalling realme ui
Thanks for all the great work. Can we expect a new release soon? Would love to wait for some initial bug fixes and new features such as face unlock.
Can't wait to try this ROM! I'm too busy lately to try and flash it, but i will soon! Keep up the good work
I can confirm that "Android System Intelligence app" keeps crashing an disabling it solves the issue for now. I think the confusion around Face Unlock not working stems from the fact that it is listed as a working feature in the original post. Also I seem to be limited to 60hz and smartcharge not working but I assume those will get fixed with the other Realme settings at some point. Other than that it is looking good, thanks for the great work!
Thanks for your instruction.
I have cleaned data, system and flashed this lineageOS and only faced the error "Failed to mount /metadata partition". NikGApps installation is OK.
Now, I'm stuck at Fastboot + OrangeFox recovery, I cannot boot into system.
Could you please help that what I should do for my x2pro to boot to the system?
Thanks
Can anybody else confirm that long press power button to turn on flashlight does not work? I can enable it under Settings - System - Buttons but it does not work.

Installing LineageOS for the first time
Flash lineage recovery
Only the provided lineage recovery will be supported,
using TWRP might result in a possible data loss!!
If using Odin rename the lineage recovery image for your model to recovery.img and add it to a .tar archive using e.g 7zip.
If using Heimdall use: heimdall flash --RECOVERY recovery.img --no-reboot
Boot lineage recovery
IMPORTANT: Do not boot into system again before booting recovery, or system will restore stock recovery!
If using Odin untick auto-reboot before flashing.
After flashing reboot by pressing Volume Down and Power for approximately 7 seconds,
immediately hold Volume Up, Bixby and Power to boot recovery
boot recovery via Volume Up, Bixby and Power.
Factory reset using Factory reset -> Format data/factory reset
Warning: Unlike TWRP this will also erase internal storage!
Sideload LineageOS by enabling sideload via Apply Update -> Apply from ADB
Then run adb sideload <path to your lineage.zip> on your PC
Optional:
Sideload GApps and magisk by repeating above step
with their zip/apk
This build does not use the stock vendor, instead it's built on top of new trees, which have been worked on for some time. The source is on our github, link in OP. You also get a few neat features like fingerprint gestures, and bixby button that actually works with both normal and long press.
I suggest using OpenCamera since stock one has some issues with flash.
These builds are signed with our release keys.
star2lte and crownlte support will come a bit later as i don't own the devices, but they will be supported eventually.
THESE BUILDS HAVE FORCE ENCRYPTION ENABLED, AND ONLY LINEAGE RECOVERY IS SUPPORTED. THESE THINGS WILL NOT CHANGE. IF YOU DON'T USE LINEAGE RECOVERY, AND SUFFER FROM DATA LOSS, DON'T COMPLAIN HERE.

Is it possible to Add Dual Sim (crownlte) ?
My 1 week review as daily use :
1. smooth, stable (uptime 122h)
2. Wifi, bluetooth OK (no problem)
3. battery ok, nothing special, at the end of the day, with call and nomal usage (3-4h screen on with youtube (on browser) and video call with jitsi) >50%
4. (i don't use anything from google)
just perfect for me !
thank you @DeHuMaNiZeD very good job !
I am struggling to flash "Flash lineage recovery" .
I am trying to flash recovery.img before which it has to be added to .tar. But the tar file that i am creating using 7zip is not working. Can you please guide how to create tar file from recovery.img to be flashed through ODIN.

I had a boot loop when I updated to this build.
I tried to reflash through ADB twice, but still boot-looping. Had to go back to build 20220219.
Any suggestions?
I did not flash the recovery partition again - is it necessary?

Basic requirements:
Unlock your bootloader, make sure you are on Android 13 firmware.
Make sure you can send and receive SMS and receive calls (also via WiFi and LTE, if possible). It would be better for you to get VoLTE/VoWiFi utilized once on stock to provision IMS
Currently tested on XQ-BC72. Expected to work on XQ-BC62, XQ-BC52 and XQ-BC42 (If it does not work, please report. See 5 in "Important Notes" section for more information)
Make sure you have gone through the installation guide once before proceed!
Installation:
Flash additional partitions and recovery.
Download the following files from the download link:
dtbo.img
vendor_boot.img
boot.img
Connect your device to your PC via USB if isn't already
If your device is not already in fastboot mode, on the computer, open a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window, and type:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Flash the downloaded image files to your device by typing:
Code:
fastboot flash dtbo <dtbo>.img
fastboot flash vendor_boot <vendor_boot>.img
fastboot flash boot <boot>.img
Now reboot into recovery to verify the installation:
Code:
fastboot reboot recovery
Installing LineageOS from recovery
Download the lineageos installation package that you would like to install from the download link
If you are not in recovery, reboot into recovery
Now tap Factory Reset, then Format data / factory reset and continue with the formatting process. This will remove encryption and delete all files stored in the internal storage, as well as format your cache partition (if you have one).
Return to the main menu
Sideload the LineageOS package
On the device, select "Apply Update", then "Apply from ADB" to begin sideload
On the PC, sideload the package using:
Code:
adb sideload filename.zip
Return to the main menu
(Optionally) If you want to install any add-ons, click "Advanced", then "Reboot to Recovery", then when your device reboots, click "Apply Update", then "Apply from ADB", then "adb sideload filename.zip" those packages in sequence.
Once you have installed everything successfully, click the back arrow in the top left of the screen, then "Reboot system now"

And seriously, I would rather watch a short video with ROM settings, or an overview in general
Does Camera2Api work ok? More specifically the image stabilization? Would a GCam work too?
I know from experience unofficial LOS means something from the mandatory list is not working, or the developer doesn't want to publish it to become official, which if all works ok, doesn't make sense
So any chances this becomes LOS official?
(I'm a huge fan of LOS and will definitely use this if it has support and updates).
Thanks!
The camera 2 API level is the same as stock.
This will become official when I think it is stable enough.
Just installed this yesterday on my XQ-BC62 and everything seems to be working well. Haven't run into any issues, so far.
One thing I have noticed and I don't know if it's just me, but when I need to flash anything, including this rom, I need to be in FastbootD and not just regular fastboot mode in order for my computer to see the phone. Otherwise, I just get a message saying <waiting for device>. I don't know if that is just understood with this phone or if it's just my device.
Great work!

The problem that your device is not recognized in fastboot mode is more like a driver issue. If you are on windows, you may need to go to device manager and you may see a yellow triangle on your android device, and you need to manually install the driver for that (called something like Bootloader interface). You can find instructions online.
