Install instructions:
first time
- power off the phone:
- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from cm zip)
- fastboot reboot
- enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+
- flash rom zip
- flash gapps zip
- wipe
- reboot
for update just flash rom zip from recovery
Google Apps are not included in this ROM. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them.

Awesome, another android lollipop rom, thanks a bunch. Is there a list of working/non-working things?
Having hard time to install custom recoveries. Sideload isn't working for me via Cynogen Recovery. Renaming the zip to update.zip and apply update from sdcard1 via Cynogen Recovery does nothing or no access to sdcard1. So far there's no network signal with my c6802 and i don't see camera app. Have not install gapps as i couldn't flash any zip in Cynogen Recovery. Wifi and everything else is working perfectly though. Any ideas on the recoveries?

@theinspector Yup the GPS is working fine with the waze and google maps.
The network signal is probably the same problem with the rest of the CM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56071149&postcount=4 This was my fix for CM11 and it work for CM12 for those who are not getting network signal or no imei.

I revert it back to original sony firmware then root and install recovery ZU-lockeddualrecovery2.7.154-BETA.installer.zip and when it reboot i flash fxp cm12 and gapps from https://s.basketbuild.com/gapps and flash everything else i needed before reboot.
Not messing with installing recovery yet. i'll play a little while with lollipop

I dont have a Redmi3 to test it out but I'm trying to fix it as best as I can... I'm guessing its mainly because of either partitions or dm-verity... I'm not sure.
You could tryvjust the adb disable-verity only.

I think you're wrong there
My phone is encrypted. I use Vasishath's twrp and can browse/modify the filesystem when in twrp.
There is a 15seconds touch freeze. Other than that i don't find any bugs. Thanks mate.

Lol! Did you even try the TWRP made by Vasishath? That twrp decrypts your device every time you boot into it. I have been using that TWRP since the beginning and never had to flash the DFE crap.

Any chance for a GM900UM variant? I'd love to at least toss some of this bloatware from the phone.
I'm assuming you need to be able to unlock the bootloader first? And the only way to do that is if your model is one that LG will allow you to unlock?
I'm also on the UM (AT&T) variant which I got today. Hopefully there's a way to unlock it at some point

Both ROM's have their benefits, check out what fits better for your needs.
It's really individual what people want, give it a try and find out .
Fine ROM! I can't seem to find the auto-brightness toggle that's supposed to appear next to the slider. I threw the switch in the cdDroid options a few times and searched the menus for conflicts, but found none. Idk if this is a bug or I'm just overlooking something. Just letting you know. Great work! I love Monet.

j7elte doesn't support it at the hardware level, unfortunately. j7eltespr, the same phone but with Qualcomm Sprint processor, supports it however IIRC

Google for Android 12 gapps, you will find many packages.
I don't recommend any of them, you need an arm package.
For example mindthegapps 12.0 arm should work.
But for my update next week you will need different gapps (12.1).
Please send me the link of the gapps version you are using
