What is the best rom (stable/performance/daily use) Android 12/13 - Xiaomi Mi A3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
Sorry to put a new topic. If it's not allowed, delete it please.
I have a Xiaomi Mi A3, but i'm tired of the One Ui.
I've already tried MIUI 13 but it still has a lot of bugs and i don't know where i could find the rom updates.
I used EvolutionX, but it also has some bugs and didn't even have a camera app.
I've already put on Google and Youtube, which would be the best rom, but there are a lot of suggestions for roms and i'm not sure which one to use.
I wanted a rom with updates too and i give importance to the camera, especially the front one, so it would have to be a rom with a native app or someone who could point me to a good app without leaving the quality of the photos to be desired.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

I wanted to use official miui by xiaomi but no luck
does someone has latest official miui roms :? "miui_LAURELSPROUTGlobal_V12.0.26.0.RFQMIXM_88b2e6c4fb_11.0.zip"
"miui_LAURELSPROUTEEAGlobal_V12.0.23.0.RFQEUXM_b8e12280dc_11.0.zip"
There are roms under ;
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.
xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
And the latest is;
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.
xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
But it sends to link below, wich doesn't work with error.

Dont use MIUI . already good ROMs are out now.. i personally prefer using Lineage Os18.1 running android 11...
You can use Syberia Os running Android 13..[must have (stock 11)] if u like customization..
Currently am on lineage Os . Superfast and no Bug , stock camera included inside..
just need to change the Kernel afterwards thats it.. i always used to use stock ROM cause i don't like any bugs ; now am permanent to lineage for its superiority.

Please make a AOSP (Pure Stock Android/No bloatware or extra features) rom for Kenzo

There are a ton of Nougat roms for Kenzo as of now but no rom has the best stability except for the LineagesOS one.
But I will request everyone here to like this post if you agree with me.
We need a pure/stock android Nougat based rom for our kenzo.
It's just a request from my side.
If any developer is reading this. Yes It's my request to you. Please build a nexus like rom based on 7.1.1 nothing extra is needed.
Thank you.:fingers-crossed:
NitrogenOS is aosp based, very stock with useful features, very stable, oms, vulkan + ota
Also Slim is aosp based also very nice with weekly support.

I think you don't know about cleanrom project for kenzo.

Here's the link. If you want to follow the project join the cleanrom g+ group.
Try NitrogenOS. Great and stable ROM. All working including camera!

Would prefer Omnirom
I prefer a AOSP rom based on last relase of MM, with last security patch.
Only AOKP has a MM build with last security patch but isn't aosp

First of all, requests for anything other than an answer to a question should not go in the Questions & Answers section of the forum. Secondly, such requests are frowned upon in the developer community; this thread is useless.

Thanks! I was able to get ResurrectionRemix and it works smoothly,
Still testing out battery life but it feels nice to have none of the useless Huawei apps and services.

I originally installed RRos and i found that while it is pretty stable there was a few issues with the camera and so i have now installed LineageOS which is really stable and the camera is a lot more reliable.
I was even able to root my device with magisk.

I'm not big on ASOP because I experience is as bland compared to RR. I used RR on Samsung devices and it was da bomb!
I have problems with the camera on stock firmware, so it's no biggie. Other than the camera RR is good?

Yeah apart from the camera I didnt run into any other issues, but I did only use it for a few days.

(Never mind)Which Rom is the best for Nexus10 in 2019 ?

I‘m now sticking on the Resurrection Remix v5.7 for manta.
~
Just got a Nexus 10 from my uncle. It is now running the stock Android 5.1
I'm planning to use it as an online video player and magazine reader(No gaming requests).
I've heard that CM & LineageOS are great. However, it seems the camera doesn't work on those two.
I do need the camera working for QRcode scanning.
Would you please give me some suggestions ? Thank you.
PS:
Do you think if I should get a Qi wireless charger for Nexus 10 ?

Don't think so, since the Nexus 10 has no QI support.
Try LOS 13, it's the last and newest OS that supports the camera.

I could not find that here could you provide a link I was thinking of selling my Nexus 10 with 7.1.2 with no camera support but if I can rejuvenate the install with a newer rom and camera support or just camera support I would hold on to it longer
thanks

Hi,
If you still have the N10 try the UNOFFICIAL Resurrection Remix for Nexus 10 (ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.7.4-20161208-manta.zip) MM ROM with the camera working!
Was still downloadable in May 2020 :fingers-crossed:

IMO LineageOS 13 would be your best bet then. It was the last stable version where everything worked and is pretty close to stock. The latest version of Resurrection Remix doesn't have the camera working and you would have to go back to their 5.7.4 version from 2016 to get it working again. This was built on op of LineageOS 13 so you might as we just grab the source. I normally love RR roms but unless your looking for tons of extra features and customization's, there probably isn't much need to install.

It seems Xiaomi Mi 9T is not getting enough attention, so, this is a fast guide to "port" Redmi K20 Pro ROMs to Mi 9T.
Instructions
Download the ROM you want: https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/development
Uncompress the zip file and you'll see something like this:
Download this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-Oo2eoeZCGayZ_AaJU903vjJfL4H_Kn4/edit
Replace boot.img, vbmeta.img and updater-script with the 3 downloaded files
Compress the files again and flash it with TWRP
NOTE
Backup your ROM, before flash the new modified one.
NOTE 1
In Settings-> about phone you'll see the device name is Redmi K20 Pro
Screenshots
Right now I'm using Evolution X
Thanks
• boot.img is from the ROM Paranoid Android, all credits go to @33bca
• vbmeta.img is from Google GSI
• @baNzera1 for his ROM Evolution X, I'm using for test and because I like.
-----
-----
Interesting, nice find. Thanks!
How is the Evolution X compared to the early builds for davinci?
Dont you think you should give proper credits for the kernel and vbmeta?
(Its using the files from the first PA beta release. I would appreciate it if you would have asked for permissions or at least let the users know what they are flashing and where its from)

You are right, I'm really sorry pal, since I've made a lot of tests and downloaded lot of files I forgot the boot.img is from your ROM PA.
--------
EDIT
Added credits/thanks to the first post.
Again, I'm sorry
what is the benifits of porting k20 pro rom? i don't get it.
edit: i get it now sorry i didn't read enough. thank you.
Great job!
I was able to boot the rom, do the first setup, but then all I can see is black screen when phone unlocked and AOD when locked.
Made a second attempt with formatting data after flashing the rom. It was better, screen worked for several minutes, then black screen again, only AOD works. Sometimes the black screen comes to a life and works after crazy tapping on it I have had enough of fun with this I think D
Will it work for Miui ROMS also like miroom and others??
So ist it actually working well ? Please share your impressions.
Does the under display FPR work when screen is off?
can you explain more? what about the kernel if i port any rom?
Closed at the OP's request.
Thanks
LTT

Hi, I don't think it will change much to lineageos 17.1 or mint-os you have only added Moto Effects & Moto Widget some other inflated software separating the gapps does not justify that it weighs so much 1.1gb vs 620mb / 692mb of other android 10 roms after installing it It is not a motorola rom like the previous one of android 9 it is only a dump of lineage os that by the way leaves the / system folder without space many apps move to / data causing brick or stopping the updates of some applications in the play store not all we have good internet speeds, please compress the rom in .new.dat.br not in .img to reduce the weight of the rom
I don't know when you installed it but it's in new.dat.br and has all the visual aspects and Motorola apps, following the same pattern as Sanders Moto Experience, having a good time

Unfortunately vendor a9 still has camera issues, in addition to kernels with poor ram/multitasking, I tried as hard as I could to optimize the moto os 9. The current bug-free vendor has Android 10+ roms limitation, thus limiting a possible stock 9
you can integrate the current android 10 provider to a compilation of Pixel Experience 10 version 11 I like but the g5 overheats a lot not counting the exaggerated drain on the battery
