Need Suggestion - For My High-End PC Gaming Build - PC Hardware General

Howdy,
I am seeking your suggestions related to my processor and motherboard because I'm very confused. Do I need to change anything, or is this the perfect pick for my setup? Besically, I need a high-end build that can handle AAA games like COD (War Zone), Dota 2, GTA V, etc.
I wanna be a professional gamer and streamer and this is my 1st step towards that goal. I'm both excited and worried about this decision, and I don't want to make any hasty choices. So please help me pick the best and high end PC parts for my build.

[Q] Dream Android Tablet

Hello XDA!
I was just wondering if you could have any feature, any software, any hardware anything at all on an android tablet, what would it be?
What would your dream tablet offer? 7" format? IPS LCD screen? unlocked hardware? bluetooth tether?
The sky's the limit! be creative
I don't really think this belongs in Chef Central... maybe general or something like that. Its not really to do with ROM development, so it shouldn't really be here.
I'm sure there are plenty of threads like this around too, if you are stuck for where to put it.

Yeah, this does not belong in this section.

I envy you that is one monster indeed! I've got some Core Duo with Vista, but it does have Bluray
Well it's going to take me a little bit longer before I can buy the base model and start the upgrading process to that beast of a beast that will last me for quite some time (with minor upgrades/repairs here and there).
I currently have a netbook though, and it's a dual core 2.2ghz with 2gb of ram. All I know is I will marry that thing once it's finished. haha
Thanks for the humor
I realized as soon as I posted that it was in the wrong section.
Actually, speaking of chefs, I'm working on a new brand of android tablet that will be coming out later this year, would you be interested in doing any testing/development on it?

Interesting...
a full size usb would make it thick(er), what if there was a microUSB that was unlocked so you could use an adapter?
wouldn't you prefer a bluetooth keyboard over a slideout that large? then you could also use it while it's docked in the car.
a removable battery is also an interesting idea too.
For $400 the screen type would suffer I think, low pixel density and not so great color. screen type is one of the more costly components.
What about battery life/weight? they are hand in hand, with the removable battery I guess the battery could be smaller so the unit could weight less.
i would love an all in one package. I don't want to have to carry the bluetooth keyboard. It may be an unreasonable concept.
As long as the color on the screen is decent it doesn't really matter. For me it's much more about the touch portion with this type of device. I want it to have a good, accurate, responsive screen if i'm going to drop that kind of money on it.
To give you an idea of where i am in my tablet phase.
I've already owned a Sylvania SYNET7LP which was full of suck out of the box but with some tweaking became nice little device. One of my biggest issues was typing on it. hence the mention of a slider. if the touchscreen was good enough you could ditch the slider i'm just looking for overall package.
I'm currently in the market for tablet number 2 budget around $250.
the front runner is http://www.aliexpress.com/product-g...-capacitive-4GB-512MB-1-0ghz-wholesalers.html
It's missing some of the features i listed but you said "Dream" tablet right?

a removable battery also speaks a lot to the life expectancy of the device. removable means replaceable. replaceable means the device was build not to be a disposable device once the battery has been shot.
as for my reasoning for a full size usb it's pure convenience. The Sylvania i have has the damn dongle and it's just one more thing to have to carry and potentially loose.

i made that originally for a dream phone... but considering that smartphones and tablets are "merging" on the same hardware spectrum... i might as well throw that out to anyone who wanted to look... and its NOT specific to WM or Android even so it fits perfect here...
Although, if you look, I didnt stretch the DREAM part as far as some people seem to be able to stretch it, im thinking real work tech available, but phone/carrier company's too stupid (read, they want to milk us all for MAX $$$ instead of just providing one large massive uber pwnage upgrade that would effectively end cycled purchases every year, the greedy fuks)
cheers...
Make some prototypes and hand them to the seasoned devs over here. Im sure everyone would support you.

I built my dream rig about 3 1/2 years ago. Here's what $5K got me:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Intel Core i7-965 Extreme Edition Bloomfield
ASUS Rampage II Extreme
12GB G.SKILL PI Black DDR3 (PC3 12800)
Thermaltake Toughpower W0133RU 1200W PSU
Antec Twelve Hundred Black Full Tower Case
BFG Tech GeForce GTX 280
4x Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB HDD
Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB HDD
LG Black Super Multi Blu-ray Disc Burner & HD DVD-ROM Drive
Cooler Master V10 CPU cooler
25" Hannspree HF259 @ 1920 x 1080
19" Gateway FPD1978W 1440 x 900
I've since added a second GTX 280 another 1.5 TB HDD, 2x iHas 224 Burners (for my Xbox 360 needs) and changed cases to a Cooler Master HAF932. She's getting up in age but still handles everything I throw at her.

[Q] CUBE U25gt2-C4W Any good?

Hi all,
What are peoples thought on the Cube U25gt2-C4W?
Specifically, it is an Android tablet, 7 inches in size with a 5 point IPS screen with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.
RAM is 1GB DDR3
ROM is 8GB
Kitkat 4.4
Quad Core Cortex A7 1.3Ghz Mali 400 processor MTK8127 chip
2400mAh Lithium battery.
It also has, Bluetooth, OTG, microSD slot, HDMI, and GPS (apparantly)...
Price is about $82 (incl. delivery).
So has anyone had any experiences (good or bad, with these cheap Chinese Cube tablets)??
(Opinions on battery life particularly appreciated).
I have one of these, paid 69 USD for it. For this price it is a nice device, 18k+ antutu benchmark, has an ips screen which is good for this price.
It does get warm though if you play games like san andreas but they all work fine. battery is the weakest point, only 2400mah so not good for use outside home or car.

Looking for a 4.4 ROM for a Xplore RangerX

I have an Xplore RangerX ruggedized tablet running Andriod 4.2.2 and I would like to bring it into the 20th century.
Here are the Specs:
Processor
Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 Processor
1.2 Smart Cache: 1MB
1.5GHz
Chipset
Intel® QM57 Express
Graphics
Integrated POWERVR™ SGX544 graphics accelerator
Integrated Image Signal Processor
Display
10.1" XGA (1366 x 768) rugged In-Plane Switching
LCD backlit display
500 NIT Display, 178° Viewing cone (89° off axis)
Contrast Ratio = 800:1
Automatic Light Sensor (ALS)
Multi-Touch, Anti-Reflective Glass
Memory
Dual-channel LPDDR2 memory
1GB
Storage
32G eMMC NAND Flash Memory
Additional Secured Internal Micro SD up to 128GB (Optional)
User Accessible 32G micro SD
Anyone know of a ROM for a similar tablet that might work for this device?
Thanks,

You may want to throw that in PCPartPicker and send a link to that build list. You may also find better pricing since you posted it.
A few follow-up Qs:
1) What OS (or OSes?)
2) What games in particular are you looking at playing?
3) Do you have a budget in mind?
There's also room to make choices where you may not lose much in performance, if at all.
For example, The i7-8700K does quite well and still cheaper than the 8086K. Or maybe wait for 9th gen, rumored to be next month.
1200W PSU is likely overkill for that. If you enter all of this into PCPartPicker I'll wager that's well under 500W - meaning a 750W PSU may do all you need.
And for the RTX I'm a big supporter of not buying until reviews come out, unless you have cash to burn on this.
Hope this helps!
