Samsung S9+ won't work in USA on Verizon

I purchased a Samsung S9+ while working in the Philippines and then returned to the US where I hope to use this S9+ with Verizon. After speaking with Verizon and checking the IMEI through their website, I've been informed that my phone will only work on T-Mobile and AT&T.
My S9+ is model SM-G965F/DS with CSC XTC and CSC country Philippines (PH).
I'm an IT professional so I'm confident that I can flash the firmware, but what firmware do I flash to and will flashing the firmware resolve this issue? I've researched numerous options, but I still don't have confidence that flashing the firmware is going to solve this issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...!!!

The SM-G965U (Verizon) uses the CDMA bands and the SM-G965F/DS (Europe/Global) uses the GSM bands.
The following is a comparison of the 2...
https://www.phonemore.com/compare/p...ds-vs-samsung-galaxy-s9-plus-sm-g965u/7552459
In the US, the only Carriers that use the GSM bands are T-Mobile and AT&T.
The only thing is that, if you had got it working on the Verizon towers, you would loose the ability to connect to 3G/4G LTE because Verizon uses the CDMA bands that your device is unable to use since it's only GSM capable.
I hope that I had explained this okay via text...
Good Luck!

Thank you for this information and clarification. Your answer is so simple, but was virtually impossible to find through my searches...
Is there a place on this site to post my S9+ for sale? Besides Craigslist or Ebay, do you have any other recommendations? Thanks again.

Swappa is a good option as @YrrchSebor had posted.
I do know that it's been posted, by XDA Moderators and Administrators, that the XDA Forum Rules does outline the restriction for selling anything on the forum for various (and very good) reasons.
On those (very few) occasions, when I personally want to sell something, I have only sold items on eBay. This is just a personal preference that I can only suggest since I don't use the other options out there (though, there's very good ones too).
I do wish you the best of luck!

Samsung note 10 plus rooted with modified IMEI, want to restore to original.

Hi everyone,
I have a rooted note 10 plus with modified IMEI from UAE.
The guy who sold me the phone isn't reachable and I would like to restore it to it's original state.
I successfully managed to put the original firmware on it (with the warning every time I restart) but the IMEI is the same and the mobile network won't work.
It says emergency calls only and I'm unable to manually search for networks.
I don't mind the warning but sim cards don't work.
Anyone know what I can do?
Thanks.

I'm really sorry to hear about your problem. However, please be aware that XDA doesn't allow any discussions of or support for edit/change of IMEI's as this is illegal in quite a few countries. In this repect I'll have to monitor this thread.

Changing Carriers

I go through numbers and carriers like they are disposable. Many because they are. But I do hate using new numbers. For some reason I find great pleasure in destroying electronic devices because all of my pleas for them to work as they should and they never do lol. Enough of my rant. Here is my question.
I want to switch the carrier device which is a Metro A12 Samsung that I have had for awhile. I stopped using the service shortly after I got it because my T-Mobile service was and is much cheaper. I can't unlock the A12 because I didn't use the Metro service long enough.
So I need to unlock my Metro A12 Samsung to use with my T-Mobile SIM with it. I think the easiest way around the problem is to change my IMEI #. Which I have. But have no idea of how to unlock it myself. Any ideas, apps, software, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
As I stated Metro will not unlock the phone because I only used it for a month and kept it as a backup for my T-Mobile account. Even though T-Mobile owns Metro switching SIMS does not work. I know there are apps and websites out there that state they can change the IMEI number for a charge$. But I am sure if they can really do it, with a little help I can do it myself for free...
Thx for the time

Question [CLOSED] Bought a used Pixel 6, apparently "Blacklisted". Any way out?

I bought a used Pixel 6 recently, and after putting my SIM in, I would get the permanent notification that "Phone not allowed for voice". I tried two SIMs, and neither worked. Looked up the IMEI and lo and behold, the phone has been Blacklisted/Blocklisted.
Looking up the IMEI on Google's repair site, I can see that it is Unlocked. So I assume someone reported it as lost or stolen to have it blocked.
Is there any way out of this? From what I understand, IMEI changing on Tensor phones isn't a thing yet, and getting around a Blacklisted phone is not possible.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and good afternoon, @Zentom
I've closed the thread. As you've already said the device was either lost or stolen i.e. even if you bought it you aren't the legitimate owner. We don't offer XDA as a platform to support assistance with not legitimately owned devices. Thanks for your understanding.
