bluetooth headphones?

I know there are several threads on bluetooth headphones - I've read through these, but just want to check whats the latest recommendation people have?
Im looking for good quality headphones with remote facility for the Touch HD and decent battery life.
I need to replace my old model which i sat on!
Thanks
Just got the Plantronics stereo bluetooth headset...it is good.
Sound is very clear...but the bass is on lower side.
It looks very smart though...with its boom extended.
I have also tried Sony Ericsson (the ones with CLI) and its sound was very loud and bassy.

Replacement speaker for X10? Mine is distorted

One day, after I took my X10 out of silent mode, the "boop" sound for volume adjustment wasn't clear. Tried music and it was quite obviously distorted. Sound through the headphones remained perfectly clear!
Music distortion is one thing, but this makes my ringer much quieter
If the headphones are clear, it seems like it can't be the internal amplifier.
Does anybody know where a replacement speaker can be found?
if i'm not mistaken, a speaker of that size cannot possibly give you the type of sound you would find on a desktop computer.
and if i'm not mistaken as well, speakers of all phones are really horrible, compared to using the headphones. so it's a normal thing.
i believe there are speaker accessories for the x10. look at SE's global website
To clarify:
The phone had clear sound for months.
One day, the sound was distorted.
It has remained distorted, even at low volumes.
The headphone sound is still clear.
Therefore, I suspect the speaker is damaged.
I don't want external speakers, I want to hear my ringtone when I get a call!!!
(bump)
Any sources for X10 parts???
why don't you send it to se that they repair it for you ?
here is a page with spare parts:

call me crazy, but blow (using your mouth!!) into the speaker holes. My old C905 had the same thing and it turned out to be dust/sand/junk that was stuck in the speaker hole - causing the speaker to distort!
worth a shot hey!

make xperia s louder???

hi guys i find the xperia s volume low even at max when i listen to music on the headphones. i have installed many different apps such as volume+ to make it louder and have the dre beats file also installed but it still isnt loud enough for me. i have also flashed the AC!D files but i am still not satisfied. i love volume to be extremely loud on headphones to the point where your ears hurt a bit. so if there are any files you guys can recommend that i can flash or whatever to make the headphone volume super loud that would be awesome! thanks in advance
Loudspeaker on this particular device is apparently low than any other. Me myself faced the problem after i purchased it. U really cant do much with it coz apps/mods can only tweak the hardware to it's highest potential. If so, u might need to open it up and change the speaker. Now will u do that? .. Guess not. Btw, try using stock apps before u try any mod like AC!D or so and if can, do buy the sony smart headset. I bought one and its extremely loud with clear bass and sound. Music turns awesome in this pair of headset =)

You realize you only get one pair of ears and you'll have to spend the rest of your life with them? How about turning the volume a little less high but being able to enjoy it longer. I understand where you're coming from, I used to be 16 as well. But if you ever get permanent tinnitus, you'll curse yourself thinking about stuff like this.
But being the helpful guy I am: are you using proper headphones? With my headphones I can easily hurt my ears with the volume on maximum. Either you're using headphones with a low output or you've already damaged your ears. Don't use the stock headphones because those always are rubbish. I use Philips earplugs but in-ear earplugs might go louder. Good sound quality costs a bit. You can also use the stock equalizer to bump the audio volume a bit, just put all the sliders on top.
AC!D will work the opposite of what you want, it'll make the sound less loud but with higher quality. At least that's what I've read about it. Personally I think the Xperia S has the best sound of any smartphone/mp3 player/discman I've ever used without messing with mods, just the equalizer. The call volume on the ear speaker is too low though, not usable in loud environments. Putting the phone in just the right way above your ear helps, but I often have to move to a quieter spot.
Answer
open with root explorer system/build.prop and find phase not sure exactly but like this "ULP low power audio ........." and just after that down you will see that this option is set to =1 it means its enabled so set it for =0 and you will have some better/louder sound and even with AC!D and all when this stay ON it just block all other i find it on my Xperia U on ICS and i think that you have this in build too, heheh HIT THANKS IF I HELP YOU

maximum Call Volume (not speaker volume!)

I'd like to know if the earspeaker of the z5 compact is louder than the one of the Z3 compact. i wear hearing aids, so i need some loud earspeaker. The max. volume on the Z3 compact was not really loud, but for example the max. call volume on the iPhone 5 is perfect!
The radio volume when I use headset is not high enough, I can hear when I am on my bike and a car is passing by. I have not tried this when calling but just being at home, calling is not a problem is terms of volume. (note: I have normal hearing)

JBA Speaker mod

Is it just me or is the JBL speaker mod really quiet on the Z3 play?
My original Z play has bit the dust so I can't compare but I am sure it used to be fairly loud, now its barley louder than the Z3 speakers (better quality of course)
Does anyone else have the JBL speaker mod on their Z3 play?
I just purchased the Moto Speaker Mod with the Motorola Logo off Amazon... Will report its sound and volume quality when it delivered to me soon.

I just picked up the jbl sound booster 2 and had a similar problem. Was getting a lot of static coming out of one speaker and volume wasn't very loud. My fix was going into mod manager while mod was connected and reseting the mod. Works much better now with no static. Found this solution by reading numerous Moto forums
Ok, cheers ill give that a try
OK, tried restarting the mod
It kills the JBL then when I detach and re-attach the volume is the same
I have the original JBL speaker mod, not the JBL2
Does anyone else have speakers they can try or does anyone have suggestions please?
This happens to me sometimes but usually only when battery saver mode is on
As an update to anyone following, since Pie update everything back to normal
Now I have both new and old version
Old version is recommended if you have it rooted and installed Dolby.
Sound is much louder with old version (good for watching Netflix)
