Note 8: Boot looping & FRP Lock: Trying to recover? - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, &

Greetings
My note 8 (model SM-950W ) started boot looping after a new battery and/or a slight screen crack
I can still get into recovery mode and download mode
However there is FRP Lock and I cannot boot to disable it
I tried using ODIN in various ways to flash other files but it always said the process failed.
I tried following a tutorial on here:
and i points me to download a file hosted on Mediafire that does NO LONGER exist. THe file is found here: https://pangu.in/download-firmware-note8-note7-note5-note4-note3-note2/ and the file is N950WVLU1AQI5_N950WOYV1AQI5_XAC_7.1.1_4file.zip
It no longer exists.
Can someone assist me in trying to find substitute file/process to get my phone working again BUT this time with TWRP and a custom rom or stock rom?

got it working FINALLY! After 2 years of trying once in a while
I had to reflash it with factory stock image with Odin
The solutions were found here

now my problem got worse and I cant charge the phone and there's a connector that broke. Must brick this phone now! Shoot!

[Q] I9300 Bricked? is there a solution?

Hello all
I guess my I9300 is bricked, symptoms:
- cellphone get stucks on Samsung logo, and stay there
- I can only access to Downloading mode (vol down + home + power), forget about recovery console
- I have tried trough Odin (1.8.5 , 3.9.4 , 3.0.7) to upload diferents ROMs, even those which claims to solve the bricked issue (rom stock XELLA (UK))
- I always receive the same error "PIT Partition"
- Also I have tried, those roms which came in 5 parts, the ones which include PIT file, tried with re-partitions, and nothing
- I have tried the PIT Files for 16gb, 32gn, 64gb... an a few one else. and nothing works
I can't solve this situation, whatever I try I always face the same issue "Error PIT Partition" I have no idea how to solve that
This is what appears when I'm at downloading mode: (maybe it can help)
Odin Mode
Product name:
Custom Binary download: NO
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
Well, if somebody faced the same situation and came trough alive! ahhahaha, pls share your knowledge
Happen all of a sudden? Could be sudden death syndrome(there is no fix, MB replacement).
to get past
Its dead. Half sds. Send for repair.

[Q] China GT-I9300

Hi xda , i have this china-bought Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.
It started out with gps not working and i tried to flash a stock rom using odin (device was rooted) and it failed after countless flashings.
And then whenever I tried to boot the device again it was stuck at the ''Samsung GALAXY SIII GT-I9300'' screen. not sure if it was a bootloop but it was just hanged there. I have cwm recovery mode but i can't access download mode however i tried. And all of my computers cant seem to detect the device. so basically the thing i am able to access now is the cwm recovery mode. i tried various roms but to no avail.(they all hanged while installing system files)
Some specs about this device i know:
- Board : uniscope77_bu3_cu_ics2
- CPU : armeabi-v7a
some additional info : i once formatted everything on the device using cwm (internal storage , system , everything)
-I tried reset to factory settings countless times too but they were all stuck at the ''Samsung GALAXY SIII GT-I9300'' screen.
-Its original stock firmware was from china and yes , ive tried using china stock rom and all i get was blahblahblah and a ''(bad)'' thing.
if you need anything else like what other things i did to the device pls tell me. pls help me solve this problem thanks you ^_^

Where did you bought it?
China
your screwed the only thing you can do is download Chn_Chn Firmware from Samsungs website and flash it though odin. And that's the only fimrware that will work, unless you flash a custom bootloader through your sd card as then it will overwrite the encrypted boot.img allowing you flash any European Firmware.

[Q] Phone not rebooting after flashing CWM ROM in N7000

Hi All,
This is the first time I ever tried to install CWM in order to install Lollipop in my Samsung Galaxy Note 1 (N7000) [India]. I flashed ROM "T210.CWM.6.0.4.5.recovery.tar" (attached with thread) using Odin. Uncheked Auto-Reboot option. When I re-started my mobile it shows Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 in startup screen with exclamaion (warning) symbol on startup. After a couple of seconds I can see only horizontal lines and phone shuts down. I see battery charging screen for a second and then device get shutdown. Now Odin cannot detect it and ADB sometimes shows it as offline. Is there any way to fix this problem? Please reply asap. Thanks in advance.
Warm Regards
You need to boot into recovery and flash the ROM from TWRP
Most stock Samsung ROMs dont support custom recovery
Chuck the ROM and the other things you want (Gapps, SuperSU) but make sure they are the right ones for the device and then put them on an external sd card and insert it, there are plenty of tutorials on flashing too
I noticed that the recovery you linked is for a T210, by my knowledge thats for a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0? Which i have running NoleKat 4.4 btw
If it is for another device than yours then its not great news.

As P_Wheeler said, your recovery file is for a different phone , this will create unstable systems / bootloops / errors.... F
irstly make sure you can get your phone back to stock, then flash the right recovery tru ODIN, and install your ROM in recovery...

4 files ROM for SM-G920P

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. I have a problem, please. When I try to download a rom 4 files for my galaxy s6 SM-G920P by checking on binary nature I get a larger file the normal one but after decompression I always end up with a single.tar.md5 file of about 4.5 GB. I repeated the procedure several times but same result.
The name is ALL_SPT_G920PVPS4DRC2_G920PSPT4DRC2_CL11881452_QB17430570_user_low_chip.tar.md5. when I open the file with 7zip I find that there are more files than normal namely param.bin, carrier.img, userdata.img, ZEROFLTE_USA_SPR.pit
Please help me my s6 is stuck on the Samsung splashscreen(it doesn't loop) and doesn't go any further. I tried to flash the 1st ROM but nothing. I no longer have access to recovery but just to download mode please help me save it
