Question s22+ Change country/region - Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus

Hi, I want to change the Country of my device since is set to HU (Hungary) right now and the CSC is EUX. But I have problems with Samsung Pay app that does not open, so I want to change the Country to my actual country (Spain). I could see the device info from SamKey and SamFW tools, but from this tools I only see the option to change CSC value (which is EUX and I think its correct to my country Spain, since I understand that there is no specific CSC to Spain, its only EUX). I think the problem with SP app not open is the Country/Region of the device that is HU right now.

On the SamFW tools in the main tab you can change the CSC. You'll need to type in EUX which is supported by your current software, a few seconds and a reboot and you're all good

Hi, yes i did this. But as you can see actually is EUX CSC but country indicates HU, and i want to change country to Spain. So I try to change CSC code to EUX again in order to see if I could change the Country but not... when reboot device after change remains in HU country. No way to change country value inside EUX code with samfw tool.

Go on your phone to settings - about phone - software information - what do you have on the second row under Service provider software information?

I have EUX/-/EUX/EUX

So done, nothing more you can change.
Try doing a factory reset if Samsung Pay still doesn't work, it might help but not sure.

[Q] 925 firmware problem...

Hey everyone!
I purchased Lumia 925 from CDON.com, and I live in Finland. BUT: it has this "manufacturer name" on settings: "RM-892_eu_sweden_243". Is there somewhere a firmware with "...eu_finland..." on it? Because this Sweden thing makes some applications not work right in Finland...
And if there is Finland version, how do I flash it to my 925?
THANK YOU!

There is application called Fonecta Caller (it gets unknown numbers holder names etc. without charge in Finland). Some of my friends said, that this application doesnt work on my Lumia, because the firmware is for Sweden. Dont know if that's the case, but may be the issue here.
But, THANKS!!
Fonecta Caller is WP8.1 app, you need also to upgrade to 8.1
P.S.
i installed Fonecta Caller without problem to my Lumia 920 with Croatian VIP operator firmware... i told you, MUST WORK, no matter...
APP working.... wait i post pictures to see it..
tell your friends that do not have a clue about WP
here is screens... working fine...
only what you need to set phone region to Finland and install app.. and thats all...

Hi.
Same situation here. Until international ROM release I think it's impossible to change region. Anyway it's pretty usable for me with English language and gboard keyboard.
The oppo id requires a Chinese phone number so we can't register with an email or similar. I try to register via web without success[emoji23].

You can create OPPO ID, by following this link:
https://cloud.oppo.com/login.html
Select ''Create Oppo ID''
Select the Country Code and Enter Phone Number And Password, and you're done.

Doesn't work for me. I've created the account but the phone requires a chinese phone number for the two steps verification. Thanks anyway.

I have the Same issue - no Chinese mobile for verification. Any help appreciated
You guys got further than I did!
I entered my details and then it said "Account created but unable to send activation email"!?!? I now can neither CREATE the account nor RESET the password.
Honestly, the fears of China becoming a technological war-fighting superpower are a bit over exaggerated if this demonstrates a Chinese tier one companies technical powers!
I have a full oppo account just let me know how to try to change region.I will test it for you.
OPPO Cloud Apk
Hello
Im Turkish so my English is bad...
I need OPPO Cloud APK but ı couldnt found it
I would appreciate if you add

SM-T978U auto populating wrong APN settings, changing them to the proper ones removes the entry entirely.

I've got a S7+ 5G with the TMB CSC and I'm having a trouble with the APN settings. Using an activated T-Mobile sim in it shows an APN with most of the correct settings but the "Mobile virtual network operator type" is set to "GID" and has a value set below it. This setting is not enabled when using the SIM in either of my other phones. The tablet connects to 5G but has no connectivity I get a notification to "Sign into network" which opens a webpage that never loads anything.
Trying an At&t SIM in it shows no network connection(cancel symbol where signal bars are) and gives me a few APN options all which have the MNC set to 280, which I've learned from here is for T-Mobile. Trying to change that setting to the proper one "410" either deletes or hides the APN where it is not available.
I have a Visible Wireless(Verizon) SIM which works perfectly with no configuration.
Talking to Tmobile support they confirmed that the device was originally sold by Tmobile and is not network locked. After verifying the software is up to date we exhausted all troubleshooting options and contacted Samsung support who's only options were to have it repaired out of warranty for a fee or trade it in for less than what I paid for it.
The software on this device is very peculiar, there are no carrier apps or carrier splash screen on startup. The tablet came with an older software version (security patch dated sept 2021) and would not download an update on its own. I then factory reset the device, used samfirm to download the latest version and odin flashed all but the USERDATA option. There are still no carrier apps installed and if I didn't know any better I'd say it was a generic CSC.
I'd really like to use this device on At&t, 5G or not, and I suspect there are others who would like a carrier-less experience too. Can anyone tell me whats going on with this thing? I'm happy to provide more info if needed.

EDIT: After much frustration and a few hours on the phone I've determined that this tablet is defective. Samsung wants me to send it in for repair, but I'm just gonna return it

Question Need help figuring out what's up with the XAU CSC code on my Samsung phone.

Hi!
I'm from Peru, about three months ago I bought an S22+ 256gb version through a reseller here in my country (official Samung store only sells the 128gb vairant). Since I was not receiving the Android 13 update I decided to check if I could do it manually, after following some tutorials I ended up in this deadspot, turns out my phone has this weird CSC code that I can't find anywhere else on the internet.

I don't know if it's necessary, but I'll provide some info about my phone when i received it:
It had AT&T stuff inside the box, as well as an sticker on the back of the box, at first i thought it was a locked phone, but it didn't had any proprietary apps. Everything was sealed, phone was clearly new.
While browsing the web, i found this page that let's you check if your phone IMEI was blacklisted, I cheked mine and it has two IMEI, one is blacklisted and one is not. I can use it to make and receive calls as well as use the LTE with my local service provider.
I'm fairly new to this whole "unlocked phone" thing, so my question is... Did I screwed myself up by buying an AT&T stolen/contrabanded phone from the reseller?, or is there a way to update my phone to Android 13 manually without risking bricking it forever.
If some of you guys can help me figure this out, that would be amazing, thanks!
You have a US model. I think the applied CSC is T-mobile but I'm not sure. You can use this tool: https://samfw.com/blog/samfw-frp-tool-1-0-remove-samsung-frp-one-click Under adb commands get a list of CSCs, see if the one you want is there. Then you can go back to the tool's main screen and change your CSC. Takes 10 seconds + a reboot, no data loss. Worked for me both on my Tab S8+ and S22+. Since your CSC is not part of the OXM package I'm not really familiar with the options you'll get on the list. I think XAA is good, it's listed online as USA unbranded. But I'm not from the US so I'm not sure what will have the fastest updates.
Edit: I just saw you have one IMEI blacklisted. Yeah it's probably a bit shady... Not sure if it had any further consequences.

How To Guide What region is my device using.

A simple way to find out the region of your device and does not need a computer, just use your smartphone. Just enter *#6776# in the phone app and you will get the Software Version.Scroll down and there you will find Manifest:Image. From this data, we can find out which region our device is using.
Examples: The EUEX version will be labeled 44:44.
If you went from India to EU it will be 44:1b, from China to India 1b:97.

Hi, I have a OnePlus device (10T) and it seems OnePlus follows the same naming. But, it has "a7" as a possible value, what would that region mean?
Quote from their forum:
1. You can try to distinguish if your device is GLO or EU version by following these steps below:
dial *#6776# >> manifest:Image >> a7:44 (GLO version)
dial *#6776# >> manifest:Image >> 44:44 (EU version)
I didn't find out what region you have listed?

First of all, not every device uses every possible region, that's why you can't find the info here. Second, A7 means Rest Of the World (abbreviated ROW) and it appears to use the GDPR ROM.
