Question Non-Samsung WearOS 3 Devices? - Oppo Find N

Hey everyone.
Anyone have any success getting any of these set up? I know there is a workaround for some Samsung devices but I can't get the Pixel Watch to connect.
1. Pixel Watch app crashes immediately once you hit the initial Continue button on the first page
2. If trying to use the legacy WearOS app, the version from the Oppo App Market will begin the enrollment. It gets stuck on verifying watch details and eventually the watch times out.
3. Once #2 occurs, if I close and reopen the WearOS app or even the Pixel Watch app, those apps show the watch as connected and ready to go. The watch itself displays that the connection isn't working and I need to start over.
Any ideas? Thanks.

So Google Fit doesnt actually work with this watch?

So I downloaded Google Fit a week ago thinking it synced with my watch because it shows my activity. However the G Watch does not show up anywhere under connected apps in Google Fit. And to further prove that it does nothing I just did a bunch of activity with just my watch on and my phone sitting still. My watch says I have 1 minute of activity and 50 steps.
This entire time I thought Google Fit was taking info from my watch turns out its just displaying the activity it detects from my phone onto my watch. Thats crap :/. Does anybody know how to have Google Fit use your watch and ignore your phone altogether?
I actually want to know the same thing.
How the F, do you sync the steps etc with other apps (e.g. MS Healtvault which I use to track weight).
Mine didn't appear to be syncing either. It looked like the phone always overrid the watch. To see if it would help, I rebooted my watch. I hadn't rebooted it since updating to the latest version of the Android Wear app and installing Google Fit on my phone (LG G3). Then I tried a little test. At the time, both my the Fit app on my phone and the watch said 1099 steps. I went for a walk, leaving my phone behind, and went far enough that the watch disconnected. When I returned, my watch said 1324 steps. I made sure my phone had a data connection (as far as I can tell, need a data/internet connection for it to sync properly), and waited. A minute or so after the watch reconnected to the phone, both devices displayed 1099 again. Then about another minute later, they both updated to 1325 steps. In my case, it appears to take a little while for the sync to occur.
The watch must keep track of steps and fitness information that it then syncs with the phone. I don't even have Google Fit (or any other fitness app) installed on my phone, yet the watch does keep track of my steps and I get Google notification cards on the watch with my daily totals. This information can only come from the watch.

Yup. Now please do tell how to get this info reliably into other services?
I do a lot of running/cycling, and i still can't find a way to sync the results from my watch to my phone.
Also, neither my lg g watch, nor the apps i use show in attached Devices and apps in fit, even though runtastic (for example) supports it.
Anyone ever figure out anything?

Help with Watch Droid

I hope someone can help, I have installed watch droid on both watch and phone, however when I try to run watch droid, it detects my watch and then informs me that I have and update. +++ then a big green tick appears.
When the watch tries to update I get a message . "your watch has blocked the update for security purposes" then the connection drops out.
Then i only get an option to press agree, if I press disagree or the 'X' I get "install failed" message and the loop starts again.
I was really hoping for Watch Droid phone to work as it seemed like the most useful app for the Amazfit so far.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks internet people.
you need to install manually the apk, or use this installer:

I was attempting to use this app with a KW88 smartwatch. Downloaded fine to the watch but here is my problem. I have an iPhone. Is there a way or alternative app for iPhone? Thanks!

Nope, if you wan't 3rd party devices to work correctly with you smartphone you should have bought an Android phone. If you want a smartwatch that works correctly with an iPhone your options are the apple watch, the apple watch or the apple watch.
KW88 smartwatch
If there is an option to make calls and respond to text messages on the KW88 then which app needs to be downloaded? WII watch does not offer those options. KW88 connects to both android and OIS.

If your watch's companion app on iOS doesn't do what you need, then there is not much you can do. Watch Droid works only with Android (you can infer that from its name). It should work with KW88, but you'd better try to get some help from the watch's specific forum or some Watch Droid forum (I don't know if there is one for it here on XDA). Good luck.
Works perfectly with a DM2018 (except it increases battery consumption quite a lot if you stay connected 24/24): it is the only one I found that keep the BT connection stable (the recommended FunDo in its standard version just didn't accept my phone number -that of the SIM card- as a valid one. The pro version did but did not maintain a stable BT connection. If you install from apk you must first authorize installation from 3rd party sources. I tested BT Connection and a few others: same instability.

Hello. I have some problems with watch droid. With incoming calls, I have a standard call on my watch, not a watchdroid call. How to disable the standard display of a call. In the Amazphite application, I disabled the push notifications. I forbade the Amazite to work in the background and stopped it and now the call goes through the watchdroid, but as soon as I start the amazfit all over again, and I need to go to the settings of the phone to stop it again. Each time there is no desire to do this. Can everything be made easier? And immediately the second question: how do I respond to incoming calls using watchdroid? Now only 3 buttons: without sound, reject, paper airplane (printed answer).
Thank you.
quick question...can i have both amazfit app and watch droid connected? It seems i can only have one or the other

Hi, thanks for posting your fix.
Mine got rebooting in a loop after freezing when changing the watchface.
I though it was a problem with the watch itself...
Tried changing the watchface while charging like you sugegsted. It doesn't work at the first time, neither resetting to the default view on the device from Notify app, but setting a watchface from the app repositository did the magic !
Now I am playing with watchfaces again, in a regular operative device thanks to you sharing your issue and fix.
hi, i habe the same Problem with the boot loop. but how can you connect to the watch while charging? thx
Thank you for sharing the solution! Had the same problem and fixed it within minutes after reading your post.
Simply connect to the charger, GTS switches to stock charging watchface, and you use the official app to upload an official watchface! Simple as that.
I try it, but my phone can't connect to gts I put it to charge it's working, but when i open the amazfit app, can't see the watch.

I have the same problem and nothing I do, makes the clock start.
May be you try this way:
1. You delete all bluetooth devices from phone
2. Install Zepp APP and open it.
3. Open your gps function in your phone
4. login or register Mi web account
5. Go to devices section in your Zepp APP
6. If there are any devices, delete it.
7. Than add new smart watch
8. Zepp APP finds your GTS device
9. Pair your GTS
10. Probably Zepp APP will upload new firmware
11. Thats all.
When the watch is stuck on amazfit logo, how should I connect the watch with the application, watch is still showing logo and application is stuck on connecting.

Amazfit GTS (important not GTR) - after update boot loop

Hi i have Amazfit GTS i paired it with my Zepp app next i change some settings and app finded new update.
After update the watch in "boot loop" mode. I unpair with my app and i would pair agin but the code QR is not show.
I cant pair, on screen is only logo amazfit. Phone not see the watch via bluetooth.
I tried hard reset. Push the button for few sec. , for 2 min too. No work
Please i think something happen in firmware. How can i flash manualy? what cable, what app?
Is it possible?
Any solutions?
I have the same problem since September last year. I ran out of battery and when I put it on charge it went into bootloop. It is not recognized by the phone, the amazfit application sees it for a few seconds but cannot connect to it. Did you manage to solve it somehow?
Wait solution here too
Try this.
Delete from phone Bluetooth pair devices
Make a fresh installation of zepp app downloaded from any other app site except Google play and try to download previous version of application
When ready to find from app zepp push the buttons constantly.
How do I connect to zepp if the watch is stuck at the boot logo?
I have the same problem and nothing I do, makes the clock start.

Try making pair the watch without QR.make sure that the watch is also deleted from bluetooth paired devices.when try to find the watch from zepp app , push both bottons together rapidly.
When mine is bricked like this ,I try this and always locate the watch.

Amazfit GTS have one bottom!
After contacting amazfit support. They told me there "is no way to flash the device, only let the watch battery run out and recharge to try again. if the issue persists contact seller to warranty"
Better to buy an apple watch. Why any software problem just connect to itunes and flash the device. They sell a device with 0% repair and such a simple thing to flash the firmware.

Make a restart ,at the same time make on your zepp app to search the watch without QR code,at the time that the zepp app is searching the watch ,your gts has to be on the amazfit logo (after restarting),then you push the screen around and at the same time you presh the button simultaneously.

Question Smartwatch

Hi,
Has someone been abled to use a wear os smartwatch with the phone?
I tried to pair an oppo smartwatch (wear os 2) and the wear os app stays blocked on the launch screen, so I'm unable to pair it.
I also tried with a samsung watch 4 (wear os 3) and the galaxy wearable app launches but when trying to pair, I receive an error mesage saying the watch is not compatible with the phone...
So, for now, no smartwatch for me working with the phone.
If someone has been able to make things work, let me know.
Have a nice day.

Garmin Fenix 6 works a treat so assume the rest of Garmin is ok
Samsung Watch 4 Classic - There is a workaround that i found (can't remember where!) where you install Wear OS first and pair the watch through that then install Samsung Wear etc. (do some googleling ) --- However i still had issues with disconnects and notifications so not perfect
Same kind of answer, Garmin forerunner 945 is working smoothly here.
Galaxy Watch works flawlessly with notifications
I had the same issue with a LG Watch R: downloading Wear OS from the "normal" Playstore, when opening Wear OS I've got a stuck white screen. But I managed to fix it:
- Download Wear OS from OPPO App store (let's call it Chinese Wear OS) and install it but don't run it.
- Download Wear OS from Playstore (let's call it Internation Wear OS) and install it and run it.
After this, I was able to start Wear OS and pair my phone with my watch.
Don't forget to allow both Wear OS (chinese and international) to run on background and pin the international version only.
Never open the "Chinese" Wear OS; it will unpair your watch and you will need to uninstall everything and start all over again.
Also, allow all notifications.
Thanks for your answers.
Well, I'm not going to buy a new watch...
For the Samsung watch, as I'm not able to launch and use the wear os app, I guess the trick will not work.
For now, I've switched to a Fitbit which seems to work.

You just have to reintialize the watch and pair it with galaxy wear and the galaxy wear module for notification. You can restore via samsung cloud via internet and the watch is ok. I have The first galaxy Watch with 4G. I am on tizen and i see your problem is wear os related isn't it?

Heya,
A question for people here, I have an Oppo Watch connected to my Oppo Find N - I managed to get it working using the chinese version of WearOS along with the normal version.
Everything is working fine but my Google Pay on the watch constantly crashes or is in a setup loop on the watch, anyone else have this problem? If so any workaround to fix it? (FYI Google Pay working fine on the Find N)
Thanks, it worked
My Amazfit gts 2 is also working fine.

Found a solution for anyone that is using Samsung's Galaxy 4 Wear OS watches. You have to install the following apps from Playstore less No.4:
1. Samsung Gear (Samsung wearable)
2. Samsung Watch4 plugin
3. Samsung Health (SHealth)
4. Chinese version Wear OS (From appmarket)
Once the above are installed. Reset or reinitialize your watch, wait for the "Welcome" intro to start. Open up SHealth app -> click on 3 dot on the top right -> settings -> accessories -> Select Galaxy Watch4 or Watch4 Classic to pair up. Follow the setup accordingly. It's optional to sign in to SHealth for your watch btw. Everything will work flawlessly after that.
After you're done with the setup, close all apps via recent and you can launch Samsung Gear as per normal. If you're experiencing intermittent disconnectivity, launch Samsung Gear and lock the app in recents. Do not kill the app. I have not experienced any battery drain from it so far.
DO NOT uninstall the chinese version of the Wear OS under any circumstances. It will disconnect your watch and you won't be able to pair it back. Which means you have to unpair via SHealth, reset your watch and go through the entire setup again.
Hope this helps someone.

You could try to pair the smartwatch using the chinese version of wear os. It will tell you to download the international version or open it directly (if already installed) - worked for me.
