Installed on mine. It's way less laggy than A12 or A11. Good stuff Samsung, I'm pleasantly surprised

There is a new stability update released

there is WA2 patch, asian region, more smooth that VL7

This update hit the US model T227U?

I can second this. I flashed the BL and AP files from the Korean version T220XXU1CWA3 on my A7 Lite running the Canadian T220XXU1CVL7 firmware, keeping the Canadian CSC. I have no issues stemming from the mismatched CSC and the performance is vastly superior. The tablet is way more responsive and the battery life is far better. I'll flash it back to the full Canadian ROM when a new one comes out but for now it's definitely staying like this. I don't know what Samsung did between the first release of Android 13 and this latest one (Korea is on its 3rd release of Android 13 while Canada is still on the initial release) but it's obviously some sort of wizardry.

Didn't know you could mix-n-match the BL and AP from a different region while retaining your region's CSC. Thanks for the info, Hai Karate!
So if I'm already on the Canadian firmware, I can just flash the Korean BL and AP with Odin and that's it?

Yes, that's what I did. Be warned that you will have to do a reset after doing this otherwise you'll get a boot failure message stating that it's unable to find some resources, so make sure you do a backup beforehand. Chances are it'll need another reset whenever it gets flashed back to the full Canadian firmware.
I figured the tablet would go bonkers when it saw a mismatched CSC but it didn't mind at all.

One UI 1 Beta version, how to go to the full version of Android 9

Hello!
I'm currently on the Beta version of Android 9 One UI 1. however in my country (The Netherlands) the full version released but somehow I didn't get the update over air.
Everytime I press Software update, it says:
''The latest update has already been installed
Current version G965FXXU2ZRKA/G9665FOXM2ZRK9/G965FXXU2ZRK9''
How can I install the full version without losing all my data again?
Hello
The release for the U1 version did not come out yet firstly, secondly you already have the first bet and there were 4 and 1 fixes, and when the release for odin comes out, you can flash the home file in csc and the data will not be deleted, but then there may be problems.

I'm sorry, I didn’t understand correctly when you wrote U1, because there is a g965u1 device, for exynos smartphones yes, it is really updated, download samfirm, write G965F and your region and it will find and download the firmware for odin

How to update Samsung G965U AT&T from Android 8 to Android 9 or 10?

Hi everybody
Quick question, I have a Samsung S9+ G965U from AT&T on Android 8 with baseband G965USQS3ARG8 and can't seem to update to Android 9 or 10. I tried flashing with a XAS firmware like G965USQS7DTE1 but Odin doesn't even start flashing. Also tried to XAA firmware from G965U1 and same result.
When I use Odin Patched it gets stuck in "setup connection":

I also tried turning on the phone with an AT&T sim card to see if I get OTA but still nothing.
Anyone with an idea on how should I do this?
Thank you
Very interesting I run into your post. Just got an S9+ unlocked but originally from AT&T. Can't OTA with an AT&T sim card either, so...following this thread
Just solved today, I tried again with Odin Patched latest version flashing the latest XAS G965U1 firmware, but using a different computer and a different USB cable. My guess is that it might have been the cable though.

So it worked for you? Do you have the stock Android 10 now? I just got an s9+ with ATT unlock running android 8 and I want to load the unlocked software so that i can get android 10 and no bloatware. Seems like I need to do exactly what you did.

cool. Can you tell me where you download the firmware file? From my limited research seems like SamFirm and Frija are the two to try, but SamFirm has stopped, directed me to updato but that only has Pie; Frija has some sort of virus flag? Sammobile seem to not work anymore on free version as well. Thanks a lot for your help

Interesting that I've stumbled on this thread. I have the same phone but unlocked version and not living in the US, and am trying to update to latest one ui.
On my TMobile Note 9 which is unlocked as well, I was able to flash a zip file created by someone right here on XDA and that made me able to get ota updates from tmobile even though I'm on a different network in a different country. Thought it was going to be possible to do that on this phone as well, didnt want to go through the hassle of using Odin to be honest as my husband is the more tech savvy of us two.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ G965U Update Question

Hi
I bought my wife a mint condition S9+ G965U. It hasn't been updated since April 2, 2020. It has software issues with this release and upon trying to research this I'm getting "update repositories" that say that the device was actually updated this November.
I'm just confused is all. I want her device to properly and I'm desperate but don't want to brick the thing. Any help?

I had the same issue with an ex-VZN S9+ 965U like your wife's. I used the modded ODIN to switch to a 965 U1 XAR firmware and it's running ETI1 with Sept security update.
ATT's Nov update TK2 for the 965U hasn't OTA'd yet and it's not on Sammobile or Freija, either but Comcast is available so I might try it instead.

Could you elaborate? So did you successfully use another 965U firmware?

Have you tried a simple factory reset via recovery mode? Or call you carrier and do a provision reset, then see what happens.

Yes, we tried a factory reset. Apparently it's a "known issue" with the Verizon G965U. I contacted the merchant that sold it to us also.

If i remember well, you can't flash other regions any more that simple. You must use odin patched and flash another csc file, or something like this. So you are right not to flash it before reading!

You're part of the "some phones" that updated to OneUI 5, the rest are scheduled for 2023
It's released. It's just that, your region is not yet rolling out the updates. You can try to check at sammobile.com or samfw.com by entering your phone's model number and CSC and see the list if it has A13 update. Sometimes, it is worth waiting since new Android OS means lots of bugs

no the snapdragon version yet. As i previously stated its starts rollout 2022, just because you have it doesn't mean its available everywhere.

hello everyone, I currently have an s22+ from Argentina with Android 12 (906EXXUAVH9), can I put Android 13 from Panama(S906EXXU2BVJA) on it?
Thank you all.
Does anyone know if there will be an update to Android 13? Ever since the 13 update my battery life has been cut in half. And it doesn't charge anymore likely due to overheating. I currently have the 45W fast charger (genuine Samsung 2.0 charger) and it has charged 2% in one hour. The only way to get it to charge is either stick it literally right in front of a blasting ac unit or to not touch the phone at all or turn it off completely. Only then will it charge normally. This is a problem for many so I'm assuming Google must be working on a fix? I tried all the common fixes including booting safe mode to confirm and wiping cache partition, etc. Also made every possible adjustment to save power and reduce consumption. I do not want to wipe my phone just to try and fix this. Any help is much appreciated.
